The increasingly massive development of technology makes language learning no longer limited to only being in the classroom, but can be done anywhere using digital devices. Vocabulary is one of the important parts of language acquisition because vocabulary is the initial stage of mastering the four language skills. This study aims to determine the influence of the use of Quizlet in mastering the Arabic vocabulary of Arabic Language and Literature students, student perceptions of the use of the application in learning Arabic vocabulary, and acceptance of the technology used in quizlet.com. This study used an experimental design and was conducted on 25 Arabic Language and Literature students. This study used several data collection techniques, including pretest-posttest, perception questionnaires, and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) questionnaires. The results of this study explained that the value of the posttest was greater than the pretests and the results of the T-Test showed a significant difference. These results are supported by a perception questionnaire that shows that students consider the use of the quizlet.com application to be effectively used in learning Arabic vocabulary. As well as the results of the TAM questionnaire showed that students were satisfied with the use of quizlet.com in learning Arabic vocabulary. The results of this study can be a recommendation for Arabic teachers, that quizlet.com can be used as a medium for learning Arabic vocabulary both in the classroom and outside the classroom.

Arabic learning outcomes in Madarasah Ibtidayah (MI) are still relatively low. This study aims to improve Arabic learning outcomes in MI by using mufradat (Arabic Vocabulary) cards in thematic learning. This research used experimental research with true experimental design. The respondents of this study included five teachers and 107 first grade students of private MIs in Salatiga City. Data collection methods included interviews with an interview guideline instrument and tests with a test instrument that has been declared valid and reliable. Qualitative data were analyzed by reviewing, reducing, categorizing, interpreting the data, and drawing conclusions. While quantitative data were analyzed with SPSS using the Cronbach's Alpha formula, Test of Homogeneity of Variances, ANOVA, t-test, and omega squared two independent samples. The theoretical contribution of this research is the specification of mufradat cards used for Arabic learning in thematic learning of grade I MI which includes specifications of card components and specifications of mufradat components. This study concluded that the use of mufradat cards has been proven effective to improve Arabic learning outcomes in thematic learning of grade I MI with an effectiveness value of 54.43%. This study recommends that to improve Arabic learning outcomes in MI, mufradat cards should be included in thematic learning.

This paper aims to describe how the evaluation of learning Arabic uses the Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM) developed by Provus and what its effectiveness is like. The author uses a qualitative research method of literature study. The results of this paper are: First, there are three main components in the evaluation model developed by Provus, namely: 1) Standards, including a list of characteristics and qualities that are expected after the implementation of the program, 2) Performance, namely all the characteristics and qualities that have been formed as a result from program implementation, and 3) Discrepancies, namely gaps found after carrying out comparisons between Standards (S) and Performance (P). Second, these three components are then implemented in learning Arabic using five discrepancy evaluation steps, namely: Installation, Design, Process, Product and Comparison.

The study examines courtly love themes in the homeland and country of the Emirati poet Manaa Saeed al-Otaiba through his two Diwan, "To Where" and "Songs and Wishes." Additionally, it intends to explore the concepts of courtly love and its origins and how to employ poetic imagery and fitting music to achieve the intended results. The poet's feelings are described in the spinning topics based on the places and countries with which he has dabbled, and it is examined how the rhetorical devices and music accompanying those poems were in line with the poet's psychological state. One of the study's conclusions is that he chose separate poetry to express what he wanted to those countries in a fluid manner replete with terms of courtly love. Hence, the titles of those poems explain the content of their verses, and the poet's courtly love extended beyond his native country to countries in the East and West. As if he intended to inform people of the lyre in his heart in many places, the poet selected the new method to be overwhelming in his lyrical poetry. The researcher believes this work has contributions that make it a new building block in the relevant studies of Emirati literature in general and al-Otaiba poetry in particular. As an outstanding poet, he deserves extensive study and research from critics to understand his poetry's substance and multiple purposes.

The issue of polygamy in Arab society is rarely published in the media. Since the emergence of social media platforms in 2004, such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, the public has communicated and disseminated information freely. On social media, the polygamy controversy is a common subject. The video explanation by Sheikh Doctor Ahmad Karimah Yajib regarding polygamy is one of the videos about the practice that has generated a lot of controversy. This qualitative research relies on primary data from the hashtag Ta’addud al-Zaujat post data (1000 and 5000 posted from 2019 to 2022). The data is disaggregated by expressions in the comments column indicating polygamy resistance. The reasons for resistance to polygamy are not just prompted by Arab netizens' psychological experiences in doing so. However, it is also influenced by the opposition expressed by other internet users from various cultural backgrounds. Expressions of resistance posted in the hashtag Ta’addud al-Zaujat have formed a public opinion to fight against polygamy. This expression of resistance is legitimized by sharing an explanation of the fatwa of Arab Ulama on social media, which only reveals a part of the explanation regarding the polygamy law.
