Can aromatherapy be integrated into critical care units where patients are seriously ill with multiple pathologies and undergo heavy, invasive, and anxiety-inducing treatments? Aromatherapy is attracting increasing interest in hospitals thanks to the development of high-quality university training programs. The aim is to improve patient care and possibly reduce the use of certain allopathic treatments.
Multidisciplinary antibiotic therapy teams aim to actively participate in reducing antibiotic resistance and its health consequences. Anti-infective therapy nurses (IDE TAI) work primarily in healthcare facilities to promote the proper use of antibiotics among their peers. The emergence of this new paramedical specialty has motivated IDE TAI nurses in the Paris region to come together under a single banner.
This article describes my journey in healthcare research. It explains how this "unusual" project came about, from the initial idea and observations to its publication.

However, the widespread prevalence of exposure to environmental risk factors makes the environment an important determinant of population health. Its importance will grow with climate change, and the healthcare system will be confronted with this issue. As a significant contributor to change itself, the healthcare system will need to reduce its environmental footprint.
Type 1 diabetes, a complex chronic disease, requires rigorous and coordinated care. Given the scarcity of specialized medical time and the increasing complexity of treatments, interprofessional cooperation appears essential. The protocol presented aims to strengthen continuity of care, support patient autonomy, and enhance the role of nurses in a secure pathway from hospital to home.
