The teaching team of the Paris Saint-Joseph nursing training institute is implementing in 2022, for the first time, the "Objective Structured Clinical Examination" (Ecos) project during semester 2, with nursing students nurses of the 2022-2025 class. This project aims to develop learners' ability to assess a clinical situation and apply an appropriate care plan. Eight reference training managers participated in the development of the training Ecos. Following the success of the latter, they are implemented in semester 3 with students of the same promotion as part of a normative evaluation.

An essential link in the smooth running of the operation, the role of circulator is another facet of the operating room nurse's (ORN) activities. As the orchestra conductor of the operation, the circulating role gives the nurse the ability to coordinate the entire team, ensure continuity at every stage of patient care in the OR, and manage all risks that may arise during the operation.

Many patients wish to receive end-of-life care at home. Liberal professionals are necessarily called upon to help in these situations. The issues most frequently raised are the management of specific symptoms, lack of knowledge of palliative care support structures, and a feeling of isolation among caregivers.

Whether positively or negatively, an individual's geographical location has an impact on his or her state of health. Often described as a "catchword", the notion of territory is complex to define. To better understand its influence, we'll be looking at the different territorial scales, as well as the responses of populations to these issues. With this in mind, we'll take a look at how healthcare professionals are changing their practices.

Social inequalities in health refer to differences in health status between people or groups of people, linked to factors that are particularly social, unequal and considered morally or ethically unacceptable. These may be major differences in life expectancy, or in the greater likelihood of being a carrier of disease, depending on the social group to which one belongs or the territory in which one lives. Accentuated during a health crisis, they are, however, avoidable.

Health determinants, whether direct (e.g. behavior) or indirect (e.g. environment), have an impact on the health status of the population. In this article, we look at the influence of some of these parameters on young people, a key target group for the future.
