To understand the dynamic responses of bridges and surrounding environment induced by high-speed train, and thus to serve the rapidly developed high-speed railway engineering of China better, the field dynamic responses of bridges and surrounding environment caused by high-speed train on Wuhan-Guangzhou Passenger Special Line were measured, and the vibration acceleration of bridge, and wheel unloading rate, derailment coefficient, lateral wheelset force, and riding comfort of train, and environment vibrations near railway line were investigated. it can be found that vertical vibration acceleration of bridge generally ranges from 0.07 m/s2 to 0.25 m/s2, and the derailment coefficient, wheel unloading rate, lateral wheelset force of train differs from each other when the train is moving into bridge, on bridge, and out of bridge, and the horizontal and vertical comfort indexes of train are both less than 2.5. Furthermore, the vertical vibration levels of ground 30m away from the centerline of railway track are respectively 56-72dB and 60-72dB for bridge and subgrade zones, and with the increasing of the train speed, the ground vibration grows gradually, and when the train speed increases by 150km/h, the vibration level increases by about 10dB. It can be concluded that the dynamic responses of bridge and the surrounding environment induced by moving high-speed train of Wuhan-Guangzhou Passenger Special Line meet the standard requests, and can be used in other projects.

Truck dynamic simulation model including the flexible frame can be a more accurately description of the vehicle handling and ride. In this paper, an assembly characteristic oriented flexible truck frame dynamic simulation model and its parameters equivalent dynamic identification method were presented. Model parameters, including natural frequencies, moment of inertias, torsional stiffness and damping ratio, were identified by the frequency response function. The model was embedded into vehicle dynamic model for handling simulation. The simulation result indicates that flexible frame parameters which obtained by the equivalent dynamic identification method could described the flexible truck frame dynamic characteristic well.

This paper presents an agent-based evolutionary search algorithm (AES) for solving dynamic travelling salesman problem (DTSP). The proposed algorithm uses the principal of collaborative endeavor learning mechanism in which all the agents within the current population co-evolve to track dynamic optima. Moreover, a local updating rule which is much the same of permutation enforcement learning scheme is induced for diversity maintaining in dynamic environments. The developed search algorithm and benchmark generator are then built to test the evolutionary model for dynamic versions of travelling salesman problem. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method is effective on dynamic problems and have a great potential for other dynamic combinatorial optimization problems as well.

This paper presents a new method to extract 3D Discrete Spherical Fourier Descriptors (DSFD) based on surface curvature voxels for pollen recognition. In order to reduce the high amount of pollen information and noise disturbance, the geometric normalized curvature voxels with the principal curvedness are firstly extracted to represent the intrinsic pollen volumetric data. Then the curvature voxels are decomposed into radial and angular components with Spherical Harmonic Transform in spherical coordinates. Finally the discrete 3D Fourier transform is applied on the decomposed curvature voxels to obtain the 3D Spherical Fourier Descriptors for pollen recognition. Experimental results show that the presented descriptors are invariant to pollen image rotation, scale and translation, and can bring about good recognition precision and speed simultaneously.

Classification of musical instrument is resulted from musicology. Thus, automatic identification of instrument families not only benefits the study in musicology, but also worth of attention in MIR. Based on a database consists of 2177 clips from Chinese and Western instrumental music, the experiments provided in this paper evaluate the ability of automatic Chinese and Western instrument identification by confusion matrices. Regarding various features and classifiers, the experiment results revealed the similarity and difference between Chinese and western instrumental music, which produce new possibilities for the study in identifying and classifying Chinese and Western instrument families.

Illumination makes an important role in realistic graphics rendering, especially in the mixed-scene rendering based on the geometric models and images. Adjusting illumination effect is a key step to achieve realistic scene when the images are inconsistent with the virtual environment. Therefore, complicated processing is required to generate the image with desired illumination condition. Using the technology of model rendering pipeline based on GPU, this paper presents a hue method to generate consistent ambient illumination between image and geometric models in a mixed-scene without specular and shadow. With this method, we can render the novel image under different ambient lights, and need not a lot of image data.

A set of device producing fluctuant load of Antilock Braking System (ABS) was developed by means of system integration in order to analyze the characteristics of pipe line pressure transmitting, optimize system structure and improve con-trolling quality. Experiments were carried out with and without ABS respectively. The experiment data provided references for the option and verification of pump. A driving motor was chosen according to the maximum working pressure and the largest flow, and the driving circuit was also designed. The device can provide assistance to parameter identification for pipeline and system analysis.

To resolve the problem that the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) in orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems is too high, an improved selected mapping (SLM) is proposed in this paper. By scaling the selected signal amplitude and dividing the OFDM vector in the transmitter, it saves the system bandwidth and reduce the PAPR efficiently, and it doesn’t need side information to be sent. At the same time, the random phase sequence information is rapidly recovered by using related detective algorithm, which largely raises the detective efficiency in the receiver. The simulation results show that the improved SLM could reduce the PAPR more efficiently while the bit error rate (BER) is similar to the one of the typical SLM.
