The Centre référent des troubles du langage et des apprentissages (CRTLA) at Avicenne Hospital (Bobigny/Seine-Saint-Denis) offers multidisciplinary assessments for children with language and learning disorders. This child psychiatry facility sees many bilingual children, and takes this specificity into account during assessments to support the diagnosis. The team focuses on the child's evolution in all its dimensions, in relation to his or her developmental, family and cultural history. In this article, we describe the use of the Avicenne language assessment for allophones and newcomers, a mother-tongue study tool created at our CRTLA.

Pediatric eating disorders put a strain on parenthood. Hôpital Necker-Enfants malades has developed a therapeutic education program through parent groups: l'"Atelier des sens". This approach offers parents time to exchange ideas, using group facilitation tools, films and role-playing exercises. The parents work on understanding their children's eating difficulties, while the children make progress on sensory issues, accompanied by a chef.

In neonatology, diaper rash in premature babies under 37 weeks of amenorrhea is a frequent occurrence. The lack of definition and homogeneity of practices around this subject, and the call for tenders from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region's inter-regional grouping for clinical research and innovation, motivated teams from the Annecy-Geneva hospital center to become promoters of a paramedical research project, Califesse. The study was divided into two stages: the first to create a visual scale, the second to carry out an epidemiological description of diaper rash and to propose a reference framework.

Taking premature babies out of the incubator and placing them skin-to-skin with their parents is a sensitive time for them, and a source of stress for parents and caregivers. But this care is essential for the baby's development. With this in mind, we have designed and developed the Cocon Douceur. It has been evaluated in terms of the child, the organization of care and the satisfaction of parents and caregivers. The results obtained are positive in terms of the toddler's motor skills, improved comfort and easier care, with less handling by the caregiver.

Premature birth is an ordeal for parents, and can have repercussions on the bond of attachment. The risk of stress can be reduced by involving parents in care and feeding, and by encouraging their presence with their baby. The aim of the study was to understand parents' experience of their premature baby's feeding times. Eleven families were included. Parents' experiences differed according to their ability to engage in feeding patterns, influenced by their baby's state of health and immaturity, and by the medical environment. Many expressed the need for support in coping with emotional and practical challenges.

In 2023, the neonatal paramedics' study day was created at the Créteil intercommunal hospital center to support professionals working in the field of prematurity in a reflective approach to care. Here, they can share their various projects for improving professional practices on an annual basis, whether in the form of analysis or scientific studies.

While the benefits of developmental care using tactile and/or kinaesthetic stimulation on the development of premature babies have been demonstrated in numerous research studies, this systematic review highlights their protective action against the onset of anxious and depressive symptoms in their parents. With this in mind, it is interesting to understand how the clinical system of prenatal diagnosis can be adapted to a particularly vulnerable population, represented by women and couples from cultures different from those of the host country, from a transcultural perspective.
