In the 1960s, the integration of nursing training into university led to the development of theories specific to the discipline. Although described as "nursing-specific", these theories have significant conceptual shortcomings. Since 1990, interdisciplinary approaches have been emerging to enrich nursing practice and theory. Today, it is crucial to adopt a transdisciplinary approach in order to respond effectively to current and future healthcare needs.

OMAGE comprehension interviews (CIs) use a card game as a vehicle for active listening. CIs performed by training professionals revealed new information for 92% of patients. CIs seem to be an effective method for building patient-centered management plans, can be used by a wide range of health professionals and as prerequisites for medication reconciliation and patient education.

Today, we are witnessing the emergence of a nursing discipline that is clearly seeking to base its legitimacy primarily on science. However, only an epistemological approach can assure us of the relevance of such an approach. While the nursing discipline must unquestionably be based on a rational, scientific approach, can we not nevertheless assume that an irreducible element of mystery will forever remain at the heart of care?

Malnutrition is a common pathology, often underdiagnosed, and is associated with numerous chronic diseases. Transversal clinical nutrition units (TCNU) are being implemented to improve the screening and management of malnutrition. The coordinating nurse plays a key role within a TCNU: organizing and coordinating personalized care pathways for malnourished patients, especially those with complex pathologies requiring multidisciplinary care. This article outlines the responsibilities of the coordinating nurse based on the experience of the TCNU established at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital (Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris).

As the negative psychological impact of Covid-19 is no longer in doubt, the aim of the study presented here was to quantify the post-traumatic growth (PTC) of caregivers working in critical care. To this end, a paper questionnaire was distributed in the critical care department of the Lyon-Sud hospital. Among the care team, 67% had developed PTC, showing that despite the difficulties experienced during the trauma, the team had managed to grow from this crisis.

Identifying and assessing somatic pain in people with schizophrenia remains a major public health issue for this vulnerable population. In France, Advanced Practice Nursing is developing, based on a practice built around clinical expertise. How can the clinical expertise of psychiatric and mental health APNs improve the identification and assessment of somatic pain in these patients, and thus help to improve their somatic health?

While it's obvious these days to turn to a healthcare professional in the event of suffering, it's less so when the caregiver (or family) accompanying a sick person is experiencing difficulties. Indeed, those close to the patient often don't think about seeking help, or don't know where to turn for support. This article looks at the situation of Mr. N., his journey and the questions raised by the new role he has taken on, and describes the work of the mobile caregiver support team. Through its consultations, this team aims to promote caregiver health through prevention.

The healthcare sector accounts for 8% of the national carbon footprint in France. It is imperative to integrate climate and environmental issues into modern healthcare management. Many health professionals are advocating for more eco-responsible care. Each caregiver can reduce the environmental and health impact of their activity, while evolving in a healthy environment. Nurses have a particular responsibility to contribute to sustainable development.
