The pedagogy of error is a fundamental lever for learning in health training. Far from being a failure, error is an educational resource that promotes clinical reasoning, memorization, and critical thinking. The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI), and ChatGPT in particular, is now challenging teaching practices: how can we preserve the educational value of error when students have access to a tool that immediately provides formatted answers? This article presents a critical and nuanced analysis of the possible relationship between the pedagogy of error and AI, drawing on the literature and an experience at a conference.
