Measurement of Anthropometric Parameters using Opto-Mechatronic Positioning System 利用光机电定位系统测量人体测量参数

This paper presents an opto-mechatronic system that can be used in the field of optometry to facilitate and improve the measurements performed to determine the parameters needed to build custom progressive lenses (PAL) and position the optical centers of the lens in the patient correct area of view. Using such device improves the anthropometric parameters measurement accuracy, depending on the activity performed by the patient (close or wide range). The system will have the function of placing in space a tablet with specially designed software that capture an image, measures and calculates the individual optometric parameters of the patient.

Resonant Current Controllers Design Methods for Active Power Filters 有源滤波器谐振电流控制器设计方法

Power quality evaluation is one of the always present topics in electrical engineering. Among the issues related to this, some are related more to the production and distribution of electrical energy and others related to the consumption. When dealing with the consumption of electrical energy, at any level, the most important factor is the harmonic pollution. As such, mitigating the effects of the current harmonics, and even more, compensating them is an important subject. For this, active filters are generally used, and their control structure is subject to many research initiatives. In this paper, different design methods for the harmonic controllers often used in medium level active filters are compared based on their dynamic behavior when faced with a reference very similar to the one obtained when mitigating the harmonic content of an electrical drive.

A Ferrite Round Rod WPT Coupler for Power Supply of Medium Voltage Devices 中压器件供电用铁氧体圆棒WPT耦合器

Wireless power transfer is currently a disruptive technology with applications in various fields: medicine, communication, industry, road, rail and maritime transport, etc. for transmitted powers ranging from mW up to hundreds of kW. The main problem with all these applications is the distance from the power source (transmitter) to the load (receiver) to be covered by the contactless transmission. This limitation is caused by the operating principle of near-field energy transfer based on the Faraday’s law. The paper deals with a dipolar magnetic (inductive) coupler based on the use of round rod ferrites which allow the increase of the magnetic coupling and provides the possibility to cover distances at least twice as large as compared to the unipolar magnetic coupler with planar coils used in most applications. The properties of these magnetic couplers are determined experimentally and by FEM simulation and compared. An application is presented herein, in which the separation gap of the coupler linked to the required insulation voltage which must be provided for the power supply of high voltage devices.

The modern home appliances are designed with energy efficiency considerations. This paper presents the use of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) in a washing machine and field-oriented control (FOC) for it. The main focus of this work is creating a graphical user interface (GUI) that provides an interactive set of input parameters and data output so that the user can find the optimal parameters for the system. The proposed model is verified by numerical simulation and can be generalized to a wide range of motor types and control strategies.

ACAP - Analog Circuit Analysis Program 模拟电路分析程序

For the symbolic, partial - symbolic and numeric analysis of the linear or/and analogic circuits generation a performing simulation program was elaborated- called ACAPAnalogic Circuit Analysis Program. Analyzed circuits via ACAP may contain linear and nonlinear resistors, inductors, and capacitors, independent voltage and current sources, all four types of linear controlled sources and in general any multiterminal or/and multi-port circuit, having an equivalent circuit made up of only two-terminal electrical elements of all two-port controlled sources. Furthermore, we proved that both ACAP is handy tools for analysis and design of the nonlinear timeinvariant analog circuits because we can keep as the symbols only parameters associated with these circuit elements. The work concludes with some illustrative examples.

In this paper, we have presented the heart rate variability (HRV) and pulse rate variability parameters (PRV) obtained for ten simultaneous electrocardiographic and photopletismographic signals recordings made twice a day, in the early morning and the evening, over the course of one week. First, a study regarding two methods of calculating the HRV parameters, namely at the effect of time series corrections and at the concordance between HRV and PRV, has been made. In the case of making corrections on the time series, a Pearson correlation coefficient of over 0.98 was identified for both the HRV and PRV correlations, that is for both methods employed. Moreover, based on the changes of the HRV and the PRV parameters, within the period of a week, the evolution of the state of fatigue of a subject has been highlighted. The HRV parameters result in being identical to the PPG parameters.

Two alternative constructive solutions for active vibration compensation systems with applications in LASER microsurgery were conceived and simulated. The aim is to select one of them and construct it in order to test the actual capabilities against the estimated performance. Both solutions are based on piezoelectric actuators of different types which require different approaches in controlling the path of the LASER beam. Aspects regarding the geometry of the solution, command and control requirements, mechanical complexity and reliability, potential for ergonomic improvements, were taken into consideration. Capabilities to compensate tremor amplitudes up to ± 5.1 mm were estimated.

Finite Element Analysis of the Performances of the 3-Phase, 5-Phase, 7-Phase and 9-Phase Squirrel-Cage Induction Motors 3相、5相、7相和9相鼠笼式异步电动机性能的有限元分析

Through finite element in time domain models this paper analyses and compares results related the most important performances of four squirrel-cage induction motors, with 3-phase, 5-phase, 7-phase and 9-phase. Quantities characterizing the rated operation and the start-up of the four motors are evaluated and compared. The variation of the magnetic field along the middle circle of the air gap and the time harmonics of the motor’s torque and stator currents are studied.The selection of the best from the four motors, respectively of the correspondent most appropriate multiphase electrical drive with induction motors takes also into account the mean value and the harmonics of the rotor unbalanced force. The influence of the one rotor bar fault is analyzed.

Convolutional Neural Network applied in EEG imagined phoneme recognition system 卷积神经网络在脑电想象音素识别系统中的应用

Speech is a skill that most of the time we take for granted. In reality, this ability is a complex mechanism which requires thoughts to be translated into words who are further transposed into sounds, a mechanism which involves precise coordination of several muscles and joints. In some cases, this complex mechanism can no longer be performed and may be accompanied by almost complete loss of motor activity such in diseases as: stroke, Lock-Down syndrome, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, cerebral palsy etc. The most recent method that aims to supplement the speech mechanism is imaginary speech recognition using electroencephalographic (EEG) signals, by using complex computing mechanisms like Deep Learning (DL) in order to decode the thoughts. In this paper we aim to recognize three types of clustered phonemes using conventional speech recognition techniques, like Mel-Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) and Linear Predictive Coding (LPC) combined with Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). We compared four types of features extraction: MFCC, LPC, MFCC+ LPC combined into 1-channel matrix and MFCC+ LPC combined into a 2-channel matrix. We showed that MFCC coefficients offer a better accuracy than LPC and that concatenating MFCC and LPC into a 2-channel matrix we obtain a better performance than combining them into 1-channel matrix.

Study of Harmonic Emissions and Radiated Disturbances of Electric Lamps 电灯的谐波发射与辐射干扰研究

In the electromagnetic environment, electrical systems must operate in such a way as not to cause electromagnetic disturbances to other systems, or adversely affect the living organisms, and not to be influenced by external disturbances. In the present paper we analyzed the harmonic currents and radiated disturbances emitted by various electric lamps very common in practice. For the measurement of the harmonic currents we used the CA8334B analyzer, and the measurement of the radiated disturbances was performed with the electromagnetic field analyzer FA306, at different distances from the analyzed electric lamps. The experiments allowed the identification of measures to minimize the effects of human exposure to electromagnetic fields produced by compact fluorescent lamps and light emitting diodes lamps.
