Friendship as a reflective value in Chinese and Russian aphorisms: experience of linguistic and cultural concepts e-teaching 友谊是中俄格言中的一种反映价值:语言和文化概念的电子教学经验

The article is devoted to the current problem of modern linguodidactics, Russian language studies and linguoculturology - linguocultural concepts e-teaching in intercultural context on the material of the Russian language. The article deals with using information and communication technologies in teaching Russian as a foreign language in linguoculturological aspect. Methods of online learning Russian as a foreign language to Chinese students are offered. This study is based on methods of analytical description, systematization, generalization, comparative analysis, linguoconceptual and linguoaxiological analysis, e-learning. As the material of a research, Chinese and Russian aphoristic funds are used (more than 100 aphoristic statements containing lexemes friend , friendship , to be on friendly terms ). The article presents electronic educational teaching materials, which take into account students' specific communication competences formed in the process of studying Russian linguistic and cultural concepts in an intercultural context. Within the framework of a series of webinars (online seminars), the stages of axiological analysis of the concept friendship , verbalized in Chinese and Russian aphorisms, are revealed in the process of e-learning linguocultural concepts in an intercultural context by Chinese students studying Russian as a foreign language. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the fact that for the first time the article offers exercises for online teaching Russian as a foreign language with linguocultural concepts analysis in an intercultural context on the material of Chinese and Russian aphorisms. The article contributes to the development of linguoconceptology, linguoculturology, linguoaxiology, Russian language studies, methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language, e-learning in an intercultural context, and intercultural communication. The materials of the study can be used at classes on Russian as a foreign language, linguodidactics, intercultural communication, and translation theory and practice. The materials of the study could form the basis of an electronic textbook for teaching linguistic and cultural concepts in an intercultural context in the course of Russian as a foreign language.

Distinctive features of motherhood discourse in Russian media 俄罗斯媒体母性话语的鲜明特征

This study of modern media devoted to the problems of motherhood discourse is significant and relevant due to both the axiological nature of motherhood phenomenon and socio-cultural features of the existing (present day) media space. Problems of motherhood are of enduring importance. The variety of issues concerning motherhood raised in modern media indicate the relevance and importance of all manifestations of this phenomenon for contemporary society. The purpose of the present study is to identify and reveal the features of media discourse of motherhood in socio-political media (which is a product of cognitive activity of modern Russian society) through the category of interdiscursivity. The material for this research was obtained from media texts of Internet versions of Russian socio-political media Arguments and Facts, Izvestia, Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Moskovsky Komsomolets, and Kommersant, published from 2001 to 2019. The research methodology includes content analysis of online publications, classification and systematization of the research material: media texts, media text studies and description of media discourse on motherhood in the form of a cognitive structure (concept sphere). The present study is the first attempt to interpret maternal media discourse through the category of interdiscursiveness, a fusion of various discourses. The author presents media discourse on motherhood in contemporary Russian socio-political media as a combination of institutional media discourses (political, economic, legal, medical, and religious), each manifesting its own aims and using own linguistic means of presenting information. This approach to describing media discourse emphasizes the interdisciplinary nature of the study and indicates the relevance of its results for various fields of scientific knowledge, primarily journalism and cognitive linguistics.

Empirical analysis of challenges in learning the Russian language in the University of Nigeria 尼日利亚大学俄语学习挑战的实证分析

Learning a new language comes with its own set of challenges, even the brigh-test students can find the new language to be difficult to understand. Looking at the progress already made in the field of studying Russian in Nigeria in the last fifty-nine years, the language presents some noticeable challenges. This paper is aimed at examining the difficulties of learning the Russian language in the University of Nigeria. A descriptive method was used, and the data were collected as a result of the survey of 36 students studying Russian. The findings revealed that different social and economic factors affect Russian language learning in Nigeria. Also, there was no significant difference in the answers of male and female students about the difficulties in learning the Russian language in Nigeria. Based on the findings of this study, it was concluded that different factors (especially level of education, parents occupation and level of income) are among the major difficulties of learning Russian in Nigerian universities. Thus, the study recommends that Nigeria government should encourage the respective universities to teach Russian with better funding and sponsorship of some programs, such as conferences and seminars.

The article reflects the main directions in scientific activity of Valery Mokienko, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Slavic Philology and Scientific Director of the Interdepartmental Dictionary Office of Saint Petersburg University, who is celebrating his 80th anniversary. The author traces the scientific career of this slavist, phraseologist, lexicographer, the founder of a scientific school and organizer of young researchers, presents his main monographs and lexicographic works. The total number of V.M. Mokienkos works is more than 1200. The report refers to the unique dictionary projects implemented under the guidance of V.M. Mokienko that have no analogues in the world lexicographic practice. The results of V.M. Mokienko's scientific cooperation with foreign universities and international scientific communities, highly appreciated by foreign awards, are shown. Special attention is paid to the achievements of V.M. Mokienko in the field of phraseography, for which he was awarded the Gold Medal named after V.I. Dal.

Modern Russian textbooks for schools in Czech Republic: advantages and disadvantages 捷克共和国学校现代俄语教材:利弊

The article analyses the current state of the Russian language teaching materials in the Czech secondary and high school. The Russian language is taught at Czech schools as the second and third foreign language. This naturally influences aims, contents and methodological concept of study packs used in the foreign language teaching. The authors point out the requirements for modern Russian language school textbooks, fundamental criteria for assessing them, the particularities of learning Russian in a closely-related language environment. Among the so-called coursebooks of a “new type” the authors determine electronic and interactive versions of textbooks which started to appear in classrooms recently. However, not all of them meet modern requirements. The article analyses the study packs used in Czech Republic in order to reveal their advantages and disadvantages. The conclusions are proved by the results of the survey carried out among Russian language teachers at Czech schools.

Principles of teaching Russian as a foreign language in MARSTU (MADI) textbooks MARSTU (MADI)教材中的对外俄语教学原则

The article describes the history and the modern period of Russian as a foreign language teaching scientific and methodical school at the preparatory faculty for foreign students in Moscow Automobile and Roads State Technical University (MADI), which was founded in 1960s. The main principles of the school are adherence to activity-communicative and nationally-oriented approaches, teaching scientific speech style and the language of future profession, necessity of inter-subject coordination in creating study-books of the scientific speech style, using self-written manuals in teaching process, ensuring the conditions for integrating foreign students to sociocultural, linguistic and educational environment of the Russian university. The article presents a short historical review containing information about the main representatives of the scientific school and description of their most important methodical and scientific papers. The study pack “Russian for future engineers” is particularly analyzed. Its effectiveness is confirmed by such criteria as self-sufficiency and irredundancy of teaching material, developing communicative skills, successful students’ motivation, effective functional scheme of learning actions. One of the most important perspectives of MADI scientific school is developing electronic teaching means.

The main principles of the school are adherence to activity-communicative and nationally-oriented approaches, teaching scientific speech style and the language of future profession, necessity of inter-subject coordination in creating study-books of the scientific speech style, using self-written manuals in teaching process, ensuring the conditions for integrating foreign students to sociocultural, linguistic and educational environment of the Russian university. The article presents a short historical review containing information about the main representatives of the scientific school and description of their most important methodical and scientific papers. The study pack “Russian for future engineers” is particularly analyzed. Its effectiveness is confirmed by such criteria as self-sufficiency and irredundancy of teaching material, developing communicative skills, successful students’ motivation, effective functional scheme of learning actions. Russian as a foreign language textbook: at the crossroads of ways, opinions and interests 俄语作为外语教材:在道路、观点和利益的十字路口

The paper discusses the issues of creating textbooks on Russian as a foreign language (RFL) for pre-university students. Nowadays a lot of Russian universities use study packs with course components developed by teams of teachers who work at these universities. The urgence of the study is stipulated by the necessity to analyze a rather chaotic process of creating and implementing varied course components at a specific university. The study is based on the analysis of RFL textbooks published by the Institute of International Education at Voronezh State University (hereinafter referred to as IIE VSU) from 2000 to 2017. The aim of the study is to substantiate the need for a multifaceted approach to creating textbooks and other course components. This aim suggests performing a number of specific tasks: analyzing course materials published by IIE VSU and defining a preferable structure of the study pack on Russian as a foreign language for pre-university students, determining the principles of dividing learning materials into units within the textbook and describing potential solutions in creating textbooks and online courses (which can accompany a textbook or used autonomously). As the result the study demonstrates the prospective structure of the RFL study packs of second generation and specific principles of data distribution in the main textbook and in accompanying course materials. The paper concludes with the idea of the necessity of combining traditional instructional principles (e. g., convergence and minimization) with relatively new principles, such as “the dialogue of cultures”, gradation of the data according to their informative value and frequency.

The article generalizes and gives critical analysis of the problems of a modern Russian as foreign language (RFL) textbook. Its essential characteristics and functions are revealed. A textbook on Russian as a foreign language reflects the features of Russian language teaching at a certain stage of science development. The important characteristic of all RFL textbooks is the ability to simulate pedagogical process, simplified and at the same time idealized, and to ensure the interaction between the teacher and students. A textbook on Russian as a foreign language structures foreign language material presentation, organizes gradual formation of speech skills and abilities. The textbook realizes the informational function as well. The motivating function of the textbook can be realized in the unity of its external and internal structure. The interrelation of “visual appeal” (paper, font, colourful illustrations, etc.) and clearly structured material presentation with the necessarily generalized and systematized information is presented in a textbook. Practical (communicative) orientation is the essential characteristic of RFL textbook. RFL textbooks realizes a differentiated approach to control and training, i.e. performs the controlling function. A brief description of different generations of textbooks is given. The analysis of scientific and educational literature allows to confirm methodological necessity of creating an encyclopedia for the authors of RFL textbooks. The encyclopedia could sum up fundamental research in teaching foreign languages and Russian as a foreign language.
本文对现代对外俄语教材存在的问题进行了概括和批判分析。揭示了其本质特征和功能。对外俄语教材反映了科学发展到一定阶段俄语教学的特点。所有RFL教材的重要特点是能够模拟教学过程,简化同时理想化,并保证师生之间的互动。俄语教材结构外语材料呈现,组织语言技能和能力的逐步形成。教材也实现了信息功能。教材的激励功能可以通过教材的外部结构和内部结构的统一来实现。“视觉吸引力”(纸张、字体、彩色插图等)与结构清晰的材料呈现之间的相互关系与必要的一般化和系统化的信息在教科书中呈现。实用(交际)导向是外语教材的本质特征。RFL教材实现了控制与训练的差异化,即发挥控制功能。简要介绍了不同时代的教科书。对科学和教育文献的分析可以确认为RFL教科书的作者创建百科全书的方法必要性。这部百科全书可以总结外语教学和俄语作为外语的基础研究。
