Innovative technologies in teaching Russian as a foreign language 对外俄语教学的创新技术

Last decade saw growing interest to innovative technologies in methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language (henceforward RFL). The article presents a review of most recent scientific publications on modern computer technologies. The material of the research includes conference papers, manuals, monographs, dissertations of 2018-2019, materials of congresses of International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (MAPRYAL) (2016, 2019), Russian Society of Russian Language and Literature Teachers (ROPRYAL) (2015, 2018), articles in scientific journals “Russian Language Abroad” and “The World of Russian Word” which are considered to be the most authoritative journals in the sphere of methods of teaching RFL. The research methods are descriptive and statistic methods, method of continuous sampling. The research revealed main issues on possibilities and reasonability of using innovative technologies in teaching RFL. The growing number of publications on the issue shows the perspectives of innovative technologies in teaching RFL.

Traditional and innovative content as the basis for project work in teaching Russian as a foreign language 传统与创新内容是对外俄语教学项目工作的基础

The article proves the importance of using complex methods in project work when teaching Russian as a foreign language, including both traditional and innovative content: working with textbooks and video content. The practical use of this method is connected with educational texts about Southern Federal University, accompanied by lexical comments and a system of exercises to train lexical and grammatical skills. The suggested texts and links to corresponding online video content are meant to be used at the first stage of multimedia project work on the history of Southern Federal University and its modern state. Educational texts play an important role both in teaching Russian as a foreign language and in project work. In our opinion, educational texts should make the base of any project, be actively implemented on the stage of motivation and goal-setting. The material of educational texts develops speech skills, reading capacity, audio perception, and text recognition. Foreign students also understand how to plan their work within a chosen project. The students improve their capacity for forming utterances, taking part in discussions and dialogues in Russian, which is doubtlessly important for effective work on individual projects and their presenting. In our opinion, work with the multimedia content is more productive in video format. The article gives not only special educational texts about Southern Federal University, but also links to video clips and video films, as well as the structure of working with them.

The article is dedicated to the history of teaching the Russian language in Lebanon from the end of the XIX century to present times. The authors tried to analyze how the pivotal historical moments of Russian-Lebanese relations influenced the conditions for teaching the Russian language in Lebanon. The article provides a brief description of the programs and methods used in various educational institutions for teaching Russian in Lebanon, depending on the form in which it was in demand for its functioning (at one stage or another). First as a language taught in some Moscow schools of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society, then as a language for preserving the Russian culture of the Diaspora initially formed by first wave immigrants and finally at the present stage, Russian as a foreign language or as a native language for bilingual children of compatriots living in Lebanon.

The article highlights the main milestones of the scientific and methodological activities of the professor of Peoples Friendship University of Russia Serafima Alekseevna Khavronina, the outstanding specialist in the theory and methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language, who made a significant contribution to the formation and development of Russian linguodidactics. S.A. Khavronina is the author of numerous scientific publications, as well as textbooks and teaching aids, normative-methodological and test materials, which have been actively used for many decades in Russia and abroad. Her textbook Russian in Exercises is unparalleled in popularity and the number of reprints in dozens of countries. The importance of S.A. Khavroninas scientific works lies in scientific and methodological description of such complex aspects in the practice of teaching Russian as the word order, ways of expressing time, prefixes, etc. She has also the developed scientific and methodological foundations of teaching Russian as a way of business communication. For her professional achievements, S.A. Khavronina has been awarded the Order of Friendship, Pushkin and Motina medals.

A сoursebook on linguocultural studies for foreigners studying the Russian language: concept and content 为学习俄语的外国人编写的语言文化研究指南:概念和内容

The article continues studying interconnected teaching of Russian language and culture in linguistic and сultural aspect of the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language (RFL) from the perspective of communicative and active learning. The relevance of this study is associated with the need to develop a system of theoretical and practical recommendations on using cultural potential of language environment in teaching and learning RFL as part of communicative and active approach to teaching. The research attempts to develop the concept and content of a coursebook on linguocultural studies, aimed at extending knowledge of Russian culture and developing communicative competence of foreigners studying the Russian language. This is an important condition for linguocultural adaptation. The research was carried out on the basis of traditional folk culture realities, which most vividly reflect the peculiarities of national mentality and provide opportunities for both theoretical and practical cultural activities in teaching/learning RFL: decorative and applied art and folk crafts, traditional folk dolls, and cuisine. The methods of the research are analysis, generalization and forecasting. The research resulted in developing the concept of a coursebook on linguocultural studies and determining its content. The author makes conclusion about effectiveness of the communicative-activity approach in teaching and learning aimed at extending foreigners knowledge about Russian culture and Russian national mentality, forming their communicative competence and providing successful linguistic and cultural adaptation. The conclusion is based on the materials of a coursebook on linguistic and cultural studies for foreigners learning Russian.

The methods of the research are analysis, generalization and forecasting. The research resulted in developing the concept of a coursebook on linguocultural studies and determining its content. The author makes conclusion about effectiveness of the communicative-activity approach in teaching and learning aimed at extending foreigners knowledge about Russian culture and Russian national mentality, forming their communicative competence and providing successful linguistic and cultural adaptation. Online lesson of Russian as a foreign language in the context of pedagogical activity digital transformation 在教学活动数字化转型的背景下,俄语作为外语的在线课程

The article describes one of the organizational forms of modern digital educational process - an online lesson. The aim of the study is to disclose the concept of online lesson as a linguodidactic definition of modern digital educational environment, to determine its main features and methodological possibilities for its implementing in teaching Russian as a foreign language. The methodological basis of the article comprises scientific publications on electronic linguodidactics, integration of digital technologies in the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language, development of methodological capabilities of electronic linguodidactics in teaching Russian as a foreign language, the content and tools of online, offline and applied educational electronic resources used in online teaching Russian as a foreign language. Based on the distinction between the concepts of distance learning and online learning, the authors identify their characteristic features and outlined an online lesson as an independent linguodidactic definition of innovative language education, the purpose of which is to achieve a completed but partial learning goal, implemented in real time with uninterruptable access to the Internet using electronic learning tools and active forms of interaction between students and trainees. This concept has not been sufficiently and completely described in modern methodological science in the aspect of teaching foreign languages, in particular, Russian as a foreign language, which determines the novelty of the study. The practical significance of the study lies in defining modern electronic teaching aids that can be applied in online teaching of Russian as a foreign language, classifying electronic teaching aids in Russian as a foreign language based on an aspect-integrated approach, as well as analyzing the position of methodological value of platforms providing online lessons in the system of teaching Russian as a foreign language.

Forming a methodical thesaurus of a foreign author of a manual on Russian as a foreign language 形成一本关于俄语作为外语的手册的外国作者的系统词库

The article aims at investigating the specifics of the modern practice of training foreign authors of Russian as a foreign language (RFL) textbooks and identifying the prospects for the formation of a professional thesaurus of this group on the basis of modern educational technologies. This issue is really relevant, since, as it is shown in the article, there are currently almost no methodological studies and manuals addressed to this group of trainees. At the same time, practice shows that foreign colleagues are in urgent need of diverse methodological support from Russian methodologists. The paper shows that in 1970-1980-s, when such support was purposefully implemented, modern textbooks on RFL were created in foreign countries, which contributed to the Russian language spreading in Europe, Asia and Africa. The research materials were textbooks on the Russian language for foreigners, which marked a certain stage in teaching methods of RFL development. The authors of the article rely on general scientific theoretical research methods: comparative analysis of available sources of information, comparative analysis of the conceptual system of the topic under research, synthesis of their own points of view (or positions), based on the analysis of various ways of solving the problem. The article resulted in the proposed topic of training and consulting materials for potential foreign authors of RFL textbooks, which are supposed to be based on the developed electronic platform, as well as the introduction of materials of the round table Designing a communicative textbook of RFL into the system of professional training and advanced training. The authors concluded that potential foreign authors of RFL textbooks are currently in urgent need of systematic scientific and methodological support. In this regard, it is recommended to intensify work with this contingent, using the potential of domestic methodological research, both classic and modern.
