DOI: 10.30699/acadpub.ijhehp.6.1.1 Background and Objective: Self-medication is a serious health problem. So this study aimed to study the impact of educational intervention based on health belief model in order to prevent arbitrary use of drugs among women in health centers in Bandar Abbas. Methods: This study was interventional, semi-experimental and controlled (before and after). 180 women who referred to health centers have participated in this study and were divided randomly into two groups. The data collection method was a questionnaire based on Health Belief Model constructs and a checklist for selfmedication use. The questionnaires were distributed before and after the intervention, and finally, after 4 months, the information of both groups was collected again and analyzed. The data were analyzed by SPSS version 19, paired t-test and independent ttest. Results were considered significant at p <0.05.ere

Methods: This cross-sectional study was descriptive and analytical. The statistical population of this study consists of 400 women, covered by health centers in Tehran. The data gathering tool was a questionnaire, including three parts: Standard Dietary Frequency Questionnaire, Demographic Information and Standard Questionnaire related to perceived barriers and benefits. The data were analyzed by using Spss software and Spearman ، Mann U Whitney and Kruskal_Wallis tests.

Methods: This was a quasy-experimental research with a pre-test and post-test designed for experimental and control groups. The statistical population included all women during premenopause of Ahvaz city in 2016. 30 woman were selected by available sampling method and randomly assigned to two equal groups. The experimental group was trained about behavioral activation treatment in 8 sessions of 90 minutes. The groups completed the questionnaires of marital intimacy and sexual satisfaction as a pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed using Spss-19 software and multivariate analysis of covariance method.

IntroductionThe aim of this study is to compare the theory of mind and false beliefs in patient with major depression disorder, bipolar disorder I, bipolar disorder II and healthy individuals.MethodsThe sample is 90 patients that has been bedridden in Ostad Moharari Hospital and it includes 30 patients with major depression disorder, 30 patient with bipolar disorder I, 30 patients with bipolar disorder II, and 30 healthy individuals have been selected as a control group matching with the experimental group of the same sex, marital status, age, level of education and social status. In this study, "Reading the Mind in the Eyes" has been used and the data have been analyzed using MANOVA.ResultsThe results of analysis of variance show that there are significant differences in theory of mind and false beliefs between the groups studied and also there is a significant difference between the patient groups and the control group, but no significant difference has been found between the patient groups.ConclusionThe defect of theory of mind and false beliefs can be considered as a social cognition deviation. Therefore, theory of mind and false beliefs training can be used as a treatment for this group.
