The leadership behavior of the headteachers is associated with institutional worth. This study intended to develop and validate a headteachers’ leadership behavior questionnaire (HLBQ) to measure the leadership behavior of headteachers. The questionnaire encompassed two sub-dimensions viz: people-oriented leadership behavior and task-oriented leadership behavior as per Blake and Mouton’s Managerial Grid. After a rigorous literature review followed by focus group discussions, the preliminary draft of the tool encompassed forty-three (43) items on the five (5) points Likert Scale. Based on the content and face validity, the items with CVR values less than 0.42 were dropped. The revised questionnaire was pilot tested on three hundred and ten (310) public secondary school teachers employed in the school education department. The data were processed through Smart PLS version 4, which provided the questionnaire’s validity, reliability, and model fit. After deleting the unfit items, the questionnaire was further reduced to thirty-one (31) items. AVE values of the items related to people-oriented leadership behavior were 0.658 > 0.5, and for task-oriented were 0.686 > 0.5. Fornell-Lacker criterion value (0.828) was more than the correlations with other latent constructs, i.e., 0.811 and 0.831. The Heterotrait-Monotrait ratio (HTMT) value was 0.859 < 0.9, which is acceptable. Cronbach alpha for people-oriented leadership behavior was 0.967 > 0.7, and task-oriented leadership behavior was 0.658 > 0.7. Similarly, the composite reliability (CR) values for people-oriented leadership behavior were 0.970 > 0.7, and task-oriented leadership behavior was 0.963 > 0.7. Thus, the headteachers’ leadership behavior questionnaire (HTLB) was internally consistent, valid, and reliable. The findings of the entire study supported using the headteachers’ leadership behavior questionnaire (HLBQ) to explore and measure the leadership behavior of the headteachers.

The utmost aim of this paper is to examine the impact of brand communication on brand personality and the moderating mechanisms of brand equity in the telecommunication sector of Pakistan. The phenomenon was examined by applying a well-known theory of self-congruity to explain the moderating function performed by brand equity between the two variables, brand communication, and brand personality. A questionnaire was distributed and collected from 1536 customers in the telecommunication sector of Pakistan, using Telenor, Ufone, Zong and Jazz networks. The data was examined by IBM AMOS to examine the proposed relationships. The study's results suggest a strong moderating effect of brand equity on the relationship between brand communication and brand personality. In this sense, it not only contributes to the body of literature but also aids professionals and marketing managers in creating branding strategies that take into account the idea of brand personality.

This review paper looks at how e-commerce has shown up as a vital means of stimulating productivity and growth in the current digital age, penetrating the markets of most of the world deep without any signs of letting up. Moreover, it also looks at e-commerce growth and its usage in Pakistan in the recent times, its potentiality, and draws a comparison with China’s successful usage of e-commerce to boost productivity and alleviate poverty, allowing rural areas also to reap the benefits the internet provides. Can Pakistan also somehow use e-commerce to do the same and lift out the millions struck in destitution, somehow fixing the economy in the process? Plagued by structural, geographical, educational, lingual, technological, and cultural issues, this paper also does a parallel analysis with Abhijeet Bannerjee’s Poverty Alleviation Theory in hopes of rooting out the shortcomings Pakistan faces. This is done with the intention of identifying what can be done to rectify these glaring issues using an approach that’s palatable to the Pakistani population.

Digital media utilization assumes an imperative part in changing millennials’ way of life. The rapid growth in the usage of digital media may have an impact on the mental prosperity of users. The primary focus of this research is to examine how excessive usage of digital media affects its consumers' psychological well-being in Pakistan's major cities. In January this year, there were 72 million digital media users in Pakistan, equal to 32% of the total population, of which 28% of Pakistan is between the ages of 26-41 (Kemp, 2022). This is the most probable age group to be used and influenced by digital media. Based on prior works, it delivers a more inclusive study of the spectacle by the view of independent variables (social capital, social isolation, and smartphone addiction), dependent variable (psychological well-being), and one mediator (excessive digital media utilization). This study sheds light on the best ways to mitigate the negative effects of using digital media, which claims to have a clear adverse effect on mental health through social capital creation and management. Overall, this research provides important insights for academics, scholars, and society at large. This paper consists of a quantitative approach of 236 users from metropolitan cities in Pakistan with the help of structural equation modeling to test the projected propositions. The research study could be additionally upgraded if we center around more factors and other various areas of Pakistan for exploring the effect of excessive digital media utilization on mental prosperity.

Being a demanding profession, teaching involves the intrinsic components of stress, tiredness along with sensations of inner uneasiness. This directed the current investigation which focused on exploring the predictive nature of tedium in reference to the constructs of personality and techno-stress levels experienced by school teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Through a cross-sectional correlation design a non-probability purposive sample of 200 (including n = 92 men and n = 108 women) school teachers from private sector, with an age range of 22-57 years (M = 35.2, SD = 8.54) were recruited. Following the APA-mandated guidelines, the participants provided sociodemographic information and their responses to study variables on the Big-Five Personality Scale, Teacher’s Techno-stress Levels Defining Scale, and Burnout Measure. Findings suggested that tedium had a significant positive correlation with both neuroticism, and techno-stress, while a significant negative association with extraversion, openness, conscientiousness, and agreeableness. Moreover, neuroticism and techno-stress were found to be the positive predictors of tedium, while conscientiousness and agreeableness negatively predicted tedium. Gender differences indicated that women teachers reported more tedium than their male counterparts. The results highlighted the need to seriously address the factors responsible for the decline in teachers’ efficiency and competence.

The main purpose of this study is to differentiate between the effects of two major categories of financing of Islamic banks on the economic stability of the selected countries. This study determines the nonlinear effect of equity-based and debt-based financing of Islamic banks to assess how the stability of the economy can be achieved. This study acquires the data on Islamic banking product-wise financing at a national level from the Islamic Financial Service Board (IFSB), and the data on industrial production index is selected from International Financial Statistics for selected countries. The sample size comprises of all the countries included in the IFSB. The data ranges from 2014Q1 to 2019Q4. The economic stability is estimated using the GARCH volatility approach, and the nonlinear ARDL model is used to determine the causal effect of Islamic banking product wise financing. This study clarifies the empirical relationship between Islamic banking equity-based financing and debt-based financing and whether macroeconomic stability is linear or quadratic in terms of the marginal effect of financing, which helps policymakers to constitute strategies for expanding the size of Islamic banking financing. The results identified the inverted U-shaped effect of equity-based financing types on output instability. At the same time, both financing types are not causing price instability. The outcomes are instruments for the central bank to optimize the Islamic banking financing structure to achieve the goal of product-wise financing of economic stability.

One key element for most employees in every well-run and prosperous institution was job satisfaction. The goal of the article is to examine the effects of job involvement and employee engagement under an empowered lead on job satisfaction. Since the hospital is closely tied to everyone's health and was my area of interest, the study population consists of all of the personnel in Pakistan's private hospital industry. The researcher used leadership descriptive analysis with a correlation approach. A total of 162 sample sizes of employees working in different hospitals used a simple random sampling method. descriptive statistics using SPSS involved frequency table, regression and correlation applied for data analysis. The model depicts a significant and favorable association between job involvement, employee engagement, empowering leadership, and job happiness, according to the study's findings. Therefore, we can say satisfied employees are more involved and engaged with their work and are more productive. To improve employee performance and productivity, every firm should devise measures that bolster a positive work environment and raise employee happiness

The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic has created a perfect storm of crises in ASEAN member countries (AMCs). Before the Covid-19 crisis, economic inequalities were prevalent all across AMCs at domestic and regional levels and the majority of the population was confined to surviving on low and insecure incomes. The main objective of this study is to explore the economic and social effects among AMCs and how Covid-19 interacted with these effects. Our study indicates that stark and myriad economic inequalities persist among low-income and rural poor societies of high-income countries in the ASEAN ranging from wealth, access to healthcare and education services, gender-based inequalities, deprivation of basic resources and services, and asymmetry in employment and migration opportunities for certain groups. We predict that Covid-19 will exacerbate these inequalities consequently pushing marginalised and vulnerable people into extreme poverty and may further escalate health and economic risks. AMCs governments need to focus on developing an inclusive economic recovery process to strengthen the poorly protected social safety nets, address the gender-based issues and consider the inclusion of marginalised and vulnerable communities while developing health and economic recovery policies to mitigate Covid-19 impacts. Our findings provide a roadmap to the governments and policymakers scrambling for resources to combat the Covid-19 social and economic impacts.
