With the development of computer communication technology in the direction of virtualization, in the teaching of Communication Technology Major, it is necessary to analyze the actual effect of virtual reality technology in practical training teaching to ensure that students can grasp communication professional skills more easily while being able to experience the more convenience brought by the use of virtual reality technology for learning and career cognition. In this paper, combined with the assessment system of virtual simulation of communication principle course, the course Civic elements are incorporated into the assessment system, the virtual simulation teaching effect assessment model based on extended cloud is adopted, the teaching effect assessment index system is constructed, the evaluated elements and the standard cloud model are determined, the correlation degree is calculated according to the characteristics of precise and fuzzy indexes, the correlation degree matrix of assessment is formed, and the index weights are determined through hierarchical analysis. Thus, the virtual simulation teaching effect assessment grade is obtained. Finally, the reliability and rationality of the assessment method are verified by actual teaching cases.

Under the ecological environment of JAVAWeb, this paper uses streaming media technology, RTMP+HLS protocol, audio and video tool FFmpeg to realize live teaching, and JAVA+Tomcat+MySQL+Spring technology stack to realize online learning, and constructs an online training system for illustration design, which can effectively solve the problems of insufficient illustration design class hours, tight or limited teaching resources, and loss of students’ learning subject status. The system has set up two login platforms for students and teachers, which not only simplifies the operation, but also strengthens the communication and contact between teachers and students. The system is not only an illustration design live broadcast platform, but also an open illustration resource sharing platform and illustration learning platform. It provides good learning and practice opportunities for illustration design students in colleges and universities, helps them to better master illustration knowledge, improve illustration skills and accept the edification of illustration art.

With the development of the Internet and the increasing frequency of online learning, online discussion is of great significance to promote the development of critical thinking. Based on the content analysis method, this paper extracts and analyzes the feature elements of the online asynchronous discussion forum data, finds out the common feature elements of eliciting and maintaining critical thinking, and puts forward some strategies to promote the critical online asynchronous discussion. This paper provides critical elements for the design of online learning activities so as to improve the quality of teachers’ online course design. Enable learners to find their way through online asynchronous discussion, thus improving learning efficiency.

Researchers have documented that adolescents’ school or electronic bullying victimization took a heavy toll on their mental health, which might give rise to adolescents’ screen time increase like TV watching and video games usage gave the technology growth [11]. However, psychologists have not examined the associations between bullying and screen time with attention to the role of race and gender. The current research examined these associations with the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) dataset collected from 1991 to 2019, which is of considerable data points and statistical power. It was assumed that different coping strategies may be adopted by adolescents in different race and ethnicity groups and gender groups such that, the associations between bully victimization and screen time may be moderated by adolescents’ race and gender in different directions. Statistical models conducted by R language was used to examine the proposed hypotheses. The results showed that, generally, there was a direct association between being bullied and an increase in screen time. Furthermore, males used to have more screen time compared to females after being bullied. As shown by simple slope analyses, Black or African Americans remained high in screen time value after bullying victimization compared to other races. The results of the current study were correlational in nature and should be interpreted with caution.

For the academic performance prediction problem, a hybrid neural network model (HNNM) is constructed using the advantages of CNN and GRU in processing temporal and spatial data, respectively. Through an online teaching platform, rich data types are collected and the HNNM model is used to study students’ life behavior and classroom learning behavior. Through experiments in several courses, the results show that the HNNM model has high prediction accuracy and can provide more reasonable guidance and suggestions for course teaching improvement and student academic warning.
