The relevance of the study is that the innovations in the oil and petrochemical industries are not only a way to increase production of raw materials and reduce losses when searching and developing new unconventional fields, but also a tool to increase the competitive advantages of vertically integrated oil companies that are increasingly interdisciplinary. Russian petrochemical manufacturers are seeking to bring advanced digital innovations to the local market it is obvious that technology is the key to the high competitiveness in the global market. The Russian company Rosneft PJSC and the American ExxonMobil are no longer just oil-producing corporations. The scope of their activities includes such areas as deep processing of petroleum products, gas production, the production of synthetic and alternative fuels, clean energy and other areas that are characterized as the industry of the future. These areas of business require significant R&D investments, which in the future will provide companies with competitive advantages.

Today competition in the field of tourism has moved from the level of countries as tourist destinations to a new level integration associations of countries, i.e. over-macro level. The initiative of the leader of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping to create new Eurasian geopolitical projects the Silk Road Economic Belt and Sea Silk Road during the 21st Century or the strategy “Belt and Road Initiative” (“BRI”) involves developing existing and creating new competitive advantages in various areas of economic activity, including tourism for participating countries. However, a practical mechanism for the implementation of the identified areas of tourism development in the framework of this mega-project does not yet exist. The authors propose using the principles of integrated logistics in the formation of this mechanism. It is the methodology of integrated logistics that will allow to scientifically substantiate and form competitive advantages in the tourism sector at all levels of the hierarchy of this project. These include such as the ability to exchange information and resources between all business entities; lower costs due to the balance of operations, economies of scale; increase in tourist flow due to more informed forecasts, planning and prioritization, more efficient use of various types of resources; balanced tourist flow by season by integrating producer of travel services, tour operators, travel agents and customers into one logistics system; providing quality logistics services to tourists through the development of standardized business processes. Using the example of the Russian Federation (RF) and the Chine, an algorithm is proposed for the formation of new and development of existing competitive advantages in the tourism sector within the framework of the BRI based on the use of program-oriented and design approaches. The authors give a conceptual scheme for creating and developing competitive advantages in the field of tourism in the Russian Federation and China within the framework of the mega-project of BRI on the principles of integrated logistics. Keywords—integrated logistics, tourism, competitive advantages, digitalization, megaproject “Belt and Road Initiative”.

The amount of solar energy production in the electricity distribution networks is increasing. This is due to technology conventionalisation, which in turn has led to solar panels becoming more affordable. The aim of this study was to analyse real-life, domestic electricity consumption to determine whether changes in current Finnish legislation could enable new economic possibilities in the use of solar power. The study data consisted of electricity consumption data, that has been digitally monitored on hourly basis. The hypothesis was that a group of individual solar power producers could benefit from a common system, as compared to each group member having a solar production system of their own. In Finland, private households benefit from solar energy production via savings on both energy and transmission costs, as well as the taxes included in these costs. It is economical to install and utilise solar energy even though the price of solar energy is higher than that of fossil fuels. In this study, the economies of energy communities with larger solar panel units were compared with individual households with small-scale solar production units. As a conclusion, the study results indicate that the overall economy of solar energy would be better if the solar panels in the network were installed in larger units. However, this possibility requires energy communities to be legally permitted

Digital marketing has enormous potential to transform today's organizations and society as a whole fundamentally. The question of current interest is in what field the greatest changes will be achieved in the near future. An attempt to find the answer to the previously mentioned question is presented in the given work. The aim of the study is to identify trends in the development of marketing in the digital age based on the monitoring of scientometric databases. The universal bibliographic and abstract database Scopus was used for the analysis. As a result of data analysis, it was found out that such areas as digital marketing, online marketing, content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing are developing very quickly, their growth trends are exponential, the number of publications on web marketing, internet marketing and mobile marketing is insignificantly decreasing over the years. The work revealed a decreasing publication activity in the field of search engine marketing and search engine optimization. The trend of using big data in marketing is actively developing, thus, it is the field where the emergence of new business tools and new products using big data technology can be expected. The study shows that the United States is the leading country in the number of publications on all considered research topics in the field of marketing, while the second and third places almost always belong to the UK. Russia is in the top three for general research on the use of marketing in the digital economy. Keywords—digital economy, digital marketing, online marketing, social media marketing, web marketing, internet marketing, mobile marketing

Planet climate changes, affecting the Arctic Ocean, open up new prospects for optimizing transport flows between Asian and European countries. Mankind has long sought to use these routes, but shipbuilding technologies did not allow doing this before. The combination of these factors allows Russia not only to provide short-sea cargo traffic, but also to provide transit facilities for such large exporters of goods as China, South Korea, Japan and to organize deliveries to these countries of raw energy and materials from the polar zone of Russia. The article discusses a number of original cost-effective schemes for the supply of energy from the polar zone of Russia to Europe and Asia. Digital transformation has affected all spheres of society and business. Trade industry being one of the leaders in digitalization is not an exception. The technologies of artificial intelligence, computer vision, virtual and augmented reality, predictive analytics have been widely developed. In the context of technological development based on digital technologies, the interaction of humans and machines is becoming a key thread of conversation. The desire to use the opportunity to more accurately follow the consumer needs at a lower cost determines the main trend of changes – the transition to mass customization. The requirements for delivery service improvement, cost cutting and personalization extension emphasize the importance of the logistics in the development of ecosystems. At the same time, digitalization is associated with business security and confidentiality of personal data, which is associated with significant expenses and risks. The leaders in the traditional business models revision and digitalization of trade are the largest global companies. The economies of scales allow them to create new infrastructure and hardware to transform offline and online trading, taking into account their advantages in practice. Unstable and dynamic environment forces trading companies to monitor the efficiency of the tools in use. Country differences in digital technologies development have good reason. In modern Russian conditions, it is possible to use the experience of foreign countries and companies to study current trends for the development of native strategies and future risk assessment. Digital transformation is changing everyday life of the people whose demands are subject to dynamic changes. It means that this work should be based on a systematic approach that takes into account the interests of all the participants, internal and external environmental instability, dynamics and possible inversion of preferences. The article substantiates the need to revise the requirements for human resource management. On the one hand, this is due the development and implementation of ITtechnologies in almost all spheres of life in modern society that is a consequence of the development of Industry 4.0. And on the other hand, according to the program “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation” it is one of the priority directions for the implementation of this program. At the same time, the development of a competent employee model is one of the main trends of the modern human resource management system. A comparative analysis of the classical and modern personnel management systems made it possible to identify and describe the main trends in human resource management in the context of digital business transformation, as well as to identify the main problems in their implementation. The result of the work was a formulated system of requirements for a modern employee, here are the main: emotional intelligence; systemic, flexible thinking; teamwork skills; skills related to the application of ITtechnologies in everyday and professional activities, interdisciplinary knowledge and others. It was also found that the proposed system of requirements for an employee is currently not being implemented and it is necessary to implement additional training programs, including through the introduction of digital technologies, the use of chat bots may be a priority for solving this probleml. Smart Cities, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Smart Grids and etc. are products of Industry 4.0 that are on verge on becoming mass-implemented after years in development by different companies and startups. While these technologies are nowhere from being completely novel, they have significant undiscovered potential. Companies invest millions into research and development and often fail to achieve desired outcome due to blurred vision, prolonged development and other reasons. This paper analyzes errors during system modeling cycle while also proposing framework for developing IIoT system in Smart City that enables companies to accelerate development of new products while also reducing costs. IIoT system developed by the authors of this paper is an end-to-end solution for Smart Cities that mainly focuses on gathering data of housing sector’s utility systems such as water pressure and temperature, voltage and others. During development several working prototypes had to be scrapped due to not meeting requirements of potential and real customers. Over time an approach that allowed rapid incorporation of customer requests into the solution was developed. It includes modular hardware coupled with microservice-based cloud software and agile software development. Application of this approach allowed to satisfy needs of increasing number of customers. Keywords—Industrial Internet of Things, Smart City, IIoT system, Digital transformation
