The life of a contemporary person acquires a new quality due to smart solutions, hence the issue of what affects the appearance of smart solutions and what impact smart solutions have on economic activity indicators is relevant. The paper is aimed at identifying correlations between urban logistics and infrastructure digitalization and a Gross Domestic Product size. This paper explores the most popular digital solutions that affect the quality of logistics and infrastructure. This paper shows that a rather significant correlation is observed between the logistics and infrastructure digitization indices and the Gross Domestic Product indices adjusted for per capita purchasing power parity. This paper demonstrates that the higher logistics and infrastructure digitization contributes to the cost rising of domesticmanufactured products. Conversely, the higher Gross Domestic Product level raises the possibility to create the more advanced and high-quality digital logistics and infrastructure. The authors concluded that the identified correlation is missing in countries having the highest gross domestic product indices adjusted for per capita purchasing power parity and their indices of digital logistics and infrastructure development are

The initial study principle is the axiom of supply chains as the forms of logistics arrangement in the sphere of commodities and services circulation on the “simple-tocomplex" development basis: direct – advanced – maximum chains of supply – networks of supply chains. In the frame of evolutionary dynamics, the basic concept of Supply Chain Management (SCM) with its fundamental idea on integrated management of logistics business-processes based on processing the on-line information related to material flow is interpreted as the concept of adaptive management of logistical flows under the conditions of chain organization and logistics digitization. The digitalization is understood as a digital logistics transformation, which activates the information processes in supply chain management with arrangement of customeroriented networks of manufacturers, suppliers of goods, logistics service providers, and is considered by an objective prerequisite for the phenomenon of smart supply chains. The developed scientific understanding of smart supply chains and their intellectual functionality when forming the value propositions in effective ways is associated with the modern economic realities of the Industry 4.0 and the prospects for using analytical tools, digital information technologies as the main operational tools of the network logistics infrastructure. There is the description of the precedents and perspectives of using descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, Big Data technologies, artificial intelligence, the Internet of things, blockchain in solving functional logistics problems created in the world

Improving the economic efficiency of industrial enterprises and ensuring their sustainable development depend, in particular, on the using of material resources management tools (MR) based on the principles of lean production using information technology. At the same time, the research of internal supply chains at enterprise allows identifying the main participants in the process, the material and information flows between them, determining the necessary change in the supply chain during the development of allocation innovations taking into account trends of digital economy. At the engineering enterprises, the managers face the task of increasing a sheet metal utilization rate in order to reduce unit technological costs, optimize the cost structure and increase net income. The relevance of this issue is confirmed by the theoretical and practical works of researchers in the field of cutting and packaging tasks, as well as in terms of the environmental problems which are because of increasing production and consumption waste. The purpose of the research is to develop tools of material resources management in lean production for sheet metal cutting at engineering enterprises with single or serial types of production. The tools are also based on the using of information technologies in economic system of an enterprise. At the previous stages of the research a situational analysis of sheet metal cutting and sheet metal material resources management at engineering enterprises was conducted, the main provisions of the sorting method of sheet metal MR after cutting were defined, approbation of certain aspects of the method was carried out using sheet metal cutting cards. The aspects related to micro logistical processes at an enterprise are specified in this article. Further research tasks are also identified. Keywords—digital economy, engineering enterprise, lean production, sheet metal cutting, material utilization rate, business material resources, sorting method
