Muntingia Calabura L is one of the plants that can reduce hyperglycemia which has an antioxidant effect. This effect is due to its high content of flavonoids that can inhibit the oxidation process. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of fresh and dry cherry leaves decoction in reducing hyperglycemia in mice (Mus-Musculus). The study used a laboratory-experimental design with a glucose induction method using 24 male mice divided into eight groups: positive control (metformin), negative control (aquadest), three groups of cherry leaves (fresh and dry) with a concentration of 5%, 10%, and 15%. Each group consisted of 3 male mice. The results showed that an effective decrease was in the positive control of metformin 113 mg/dl, following a 15% concentration in fresh leaves 88 mg/dl, and 15% dry leaves 79 mg/dl. The conclusion in this study was that there was no significant difference between the stew of fresh cherry leaves and dried cherry leaves. The decoction of fresh cherry leaves and dried cherry leaves were both effective in reducing mouse hyperglycemia at a concentration of 15%. It is suggested for further research to use fresh and dry cherry leaf extract samples using other methods.

The use of medical devices in patients treated at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is very high. Patients who are treated in intensive care are also at risk for medical device-related pressure injury (MDRPI). This study aimed to determine the factors associated with the incidence of MRDPI in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RSUP DR. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar. This study used an observational analytic method with a prospective cohort approach. The Sampling method used a simple random sampling of 76 people. This research was conducted on 8 May - 6 July 2019. The data collection technique used an observation sheet with the research instrument used in the form of the Pediatric Early Warning Scoring System to assess critical conditions, the level of awareness was fully used Full Outline of UnResponsiveness score (FOUR Score). The data were analyzed tested by using the statistical the Chi Square with a confidence level of 95%. All data were analyzed using the SPSS version 21.0 program (SPSS, Inc. Chicago, IL). Factors associated with the MDRPI incidence include critical conditions based on PEWSS (p = 0.002), level of awareness based on the FOUR Score (p = 0.025), number of devices installed (p = 0.015), and fixation techniques (p = 0.025). As for peripheral tissue perfusion (p = 0.268), albumin (p = 0.309), skin moisture (p = 0.888) were not related. Factors associated with the incidence of MDRPI include critical condition, level of awareness, number of devices installed, and fixation techniques. It’s recommended to make preventive efforts.

Diabetic foot ulcers have a high prevalence that requires good management of care. One of them is by assessing diabetic foot wounds. Currently, there has been a review of diabetic foot healing footage of New Diabetic Foot Ulcer Assessment Scale (DFUAS) which has been tested for validity and photo-based reliability. Nevertheless, in the DFUAS Assessment Reliability Test, there are still differences in perceptions on several DFUAS assessment variables on wound nurses. One reason is that there is no socialization given to the wound nurses on how to assess the DFUAS assessment. In addition, the previous DFUAS assessment reliability test is only performed on certified wound nurses whereas in health care services in patients with diabetic foot injuries are also performed by non-certified general nurses. This study aims to assess the interrater reliability and internal consistency of DFUAS-based on photo assessment on expert nurses and general nurses. The design of this study was cross sectional study. The samples in this study were certified nurses with ETN, CWCC, CWCCA and general non-certified Nurses with more than 2 years experience of wound care. The nurse as an observer evaluated 8 wounded images divided according to the wound stage (necrotic, slough, granulation and epithelial) using DFUAS assessment. Interrater reliability was assessed by spearman rho while internal consistency was assessed by cronbach's alpha. Interrater reliability shows good correlation with spearman rho> 0.60. Internal consistency shows good reliability between DFUAS assessment items and Cronbach's alpha 0.98. This study shows that the DFUAS assessment is reliable on different nurses both certified nurses and general nurses.

Perinatal and neonatal period is a critical period for the baby's life. Two-thirds of infant deaths occur within 4 weeks after delivery and 60% of newborn deaths occur within 7 days after birth. Regular neonatal visits may early detect to prevent infant mortality. The family's role and support is enormous for the regularity of neonatal visits. The objective of the study was to know the effectiveness of the Pocket Book on the Knowledge of the Psychologist's Companion of the Babies' Period and the visit of the neonate. This research uses experimental Pre design. In this study, the subjects in the study consisted of two groups, the intervention group and the non-intervention group. The samples were the nearest relatives and lived in the same house with the mothers who delivered in housemother health service facilities from June to November 2017 in the work area of the Binanga and Puskesmas Padang. The results showed that statistically significant results showed that there were differences in the average score of the puerperal and neonatal visits between the intervention group and the control group, thus the pocket book was effective for the improvement of maternal companion knowledge. Conclusion and Suggestion in this research that pocket book is effective for knowledge enhancement of maternal companion, and hopefully this pocket book need to be tested its validity by experts.

The persistent problem faced by Indonesia is in adequate in number and maldistribution of health workers in Primary Health Centre (PHC) has resulted in disrupted health services to the community. The aims of this study is describe health workers in ratio PHC per 100,000 population and health workers distributionbyregions. This research is descriptive analytic. The data used are secondary data from the health workers in government health care facilities in the district/city and province in Indonesia collected by Sub Centre data and information of health ministry in June 2018 and analyzed using the chi-square. The fact that inadequate numbers and maldistributionare remaining problems of health workers in PHC. The ratio of physiciansis 10,17, midwifes 84,73, nurses 83, Public health services 11,09 and nutritionists 8,30 per 100,000 populations while Government standards are higher. Maldistributions of health workers in PHC occurred in central and east regions of Indonesia. The highest number of health workers at PHC in Indonesian is midwives and nurses, while the smallest workforce is dentists. As in adequate numbers and maldistribution are the remaining problems of health workers in PHC, the recruitment of health workers should fulfil the community needs, geographic and avalaibility of health services. Providing the government scholarship to the locals in health schools with commitment to work for local government after graduation is one of the solution for this problem. E-health service is another solution, health service consultation can be carried out effectively and efficiently with remote health experts by taking the advantage of the internet.

Background The main cause of maternal mortality in Indonesia in the bearing process is infection. Eleven per cent of the infection come from bad treatment of perineum rupturee. There are about 85% women bearing through spontaneuous pervaginam experience perineum trauma and 1% of them are infected. Perineum rupture needs serious attention since it can cause woman reproduction organ disfunction and dead as the consequence of bleeding or sepsis. The procedure of perineum treatment still uses desinfectant lotion Povidon Iodin 10%, herbal oinment as additional wound protector and perineum pain killer. Because of this, the researcher is interested in studying the effectiveness of nigella sativa 10% and 15% in curing perineum rupture of postpartum mothers at puskesmas Jekan Raya, Central Kalimantan. Method Using Randomised pre-post test control group design, the 21 women suffering from perineum rupture stadium II are grouped into three. The black cumin (nigella sativa) oinment is rubbed on the wound Perineum rupture everyday during seven days of postpartum ranging from treatment group. The evaluation is done in the day 1 (pre test), the day 3, 5 and 7 (post test) by using REEDA scale. Result The black cumin (nigella sativa) oinment is effective in fastening wound healing of perineum rupture compared to control group (p<0,05). Conclusion The black cumin oinment (nigella sativa) in the inflammatory phase until the proliferation phase and can be recommended as an adjunct to the treatment of postpartum maternal perineal rupture wounds.

Postoperative nausea and vomiting are defined as nausea and vomiting occurring within 24 hours after surgery and is one of the complications of general anesthesia and neuroaxial anesthesia. This is still a major concern concern in patients undergoing surgery because it increases morbidity due to dehydration, electrolyte disturbance, aspiration, wound pain, pneumothorax, subcutaneous emphysema, esophageal rupture, which is resulting in delayed recovery, increased cost, and patient dissatisfaction. Although nausea and vomiting can be overcome by using antiemetics, its use is limited in clinical practice because it is related to the costs and side effects caused. Therefore, a special approach is necessary to improve patient comfort. Acupressure therapy point P6 is an effective method that can be used for the management of postoperative nausea and vomiting because in addition to easy to do, also cheap and have no side effects that can harm patients. To now P6 acupressure therapy in preventing and treating postoperative nausea vomiting. The method used in this study is review of articles fromelectronic journals database that have been published through Pubmed, Google Scholar and ProQuest. There are 44 articles identified and published from 2007-2017. The 7 articles out of 44 articles met the inclusion criteria. Some research results show the effectiveness of acupressure therapy in preventing an in reducing postoperative nausea and vomiting.
