In the past decades, there are many mining-depend city emerged in Chinese urban system due to their fast urbanization and industrialization. Due to the exhaustibility of natural resources, these mining-dependent cities might face the sustainable development in its urban economical and social development. In this paper, it is to study the economy growth coupling between the mining-dependent city and urban clusters including the mining city. Taken the Zhongyuan urban clusters and mining city Jiaozuo as example, the economy growth cointegration and Granger causality test are conducted. The results indicated that they are integrated and have a dual causality interaction among mining city and urban clusters.

Pollution sources census and monitoring is one of the most important work in environment protection and management, which means a lot to environment planning and macro-control. Firstly, this paper analyzes the characteristics of pollution source census data and points out the similarity and common problems of existent environment information systems. Then proceeds to build a pollution sources census oriented management information system based on GIS and spatial database, which combines pollution sources information acquire and management, intelligently query and index, spatial analysis and comprehensive application all together. Finally this paper introduces the specific application of pollution sources census management information system according to the requirements of environment management.

The purpose of this research is to analyse how Information and Communication Technologies influence Microfinance Institutions performance on three regards: work efficiency, risk management and customer relationship management. Results of the empirical study show that the implementation of ICT enables MFIs in developing and emerging countries to significantly improve their microfinance services while enhancing work efficiency and customer relationship management. However, no empirical support was found for ICT contribution to risk management or reduction.

Web service paradigm is important for the distributed internet-scale applications. Many developers wish to mask application-level failures from users and continue making forward progress. In this paper, we provide a kind of recovery approach for the distributed applications made by the composition of web services. Our approach aims at the application-level failures of the stateful business processes. At the same time, to keep service's autonomy and heterogeneous, the approach is based on the decentralized composition mode, in which the business process is distributed over different execution engines. The recovery tasks are realized by the cooperation of these engines. Our approach also ensures after the recovery the outcomes of the business process still can finish in consistent states.

This paper deals with the problem of joint frame synchronization and phase ambiguity resolution for high data rate MPSK systems. We presents a novel method of utilizing a simplified correlation operation which can reduce the computational complexity and use two thresholds to detect the frame starting point and the value of phase ambiguity simultaneously. The parallel architecture of frame synchronizer which can simultaneously perform phase ambiguity resolution has been designed for high data rate systems. From the results of the simulation, we make the conclusion that it can work effectively as we expected.

Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) research groups have recently attracted to the issue of emotion or affect especially in the examination of interaction and design. With recent technological advances, human users are able to interact with computers in ways which are almost impossible. New modalities for computer interaction with human emotion such as skin conductivity, heart rate, brain signals and physiological signals are emerging. It shows that emotion plays an important role in human communication and interaction, therefore allow people to express emotion beyond the verbal domain. This issue motivates the investigation of two modals of emotional processing in the application of HCI and User Interface Design (UID) areas. The result of this study is directed to the development of an affective interaction design storyboard tool called SCOUT. The paper addresses significant roles of Multi-modal Emotional Processing methods for SCOUT, which includes different types of Psychometric usability methods and Physiological emotional processing methods. The application of Psychometrics and Multi-modal Emotional Processing are then, analyzed. The results of the analysis revealed that the use of both processing methods would enrich the evaluation of emotion in human-computer interaction study.

The dynamics and structural character of a-syn12 peptide in aqueous solution at high pH has been investigated through temperature replica exchange molecular dynamics simulations by using GROMOS 43A1 force field. The isolated a-syn12 peptide adopts in water an a-helix structure at high pH. These results are distinct from other amyloid disease protein at neutral pH.

Spectrum is a valuable and scarce natural resource. Regulators assign spectrum usage rights to holders mainly by issuing licenses. With gradual introduction of spectrum trading and liberation, problems of tenure and assignment of spectrum licenses have attracted increasing attention. This paper does not only do lots of empirical research on existing license types in countries that have introduced spectrum trading, but also do in-depth study on the new license type- perpetual license that scholars have proposed. Then, it classifies spectrum licenses into unrenewable licenses, renewable licenses and perpetual licenses according to usage duration and renewal expectancy. Finally, both initial and secondary assignment processes of three kinds of spectrum licenses are put forward.
