The Computing field has a gender diversity gap, with female participation much lower when compared to men. In this context, several activities have been developed to include more women in the field of Computing, and the Meninas.comp project has been working to introduce Computing to girls in elementary schools in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil. This article has two objectives: i) to present the activities of the Meninas.comp project for girls in elementary schools; ii) to present a mapping of the literature on computational activities with a focus on girls in elementary schools in Brazil. The systematic literature mapping found publications reporting a large variety of activities, such as unplugged computing, game development, card games, programming classes, competitions, lectures, and workshops. From the Meninas.comp project, this article highlights a smart garden developed by female elementary school students

This article presents an analysis of women participation in several guerrilla groups in two countries: Guatemala y El Salvador, during the second half of the Central American 20th century, through written testimonies such as autobiographies and collective compilations. It is considered that in that critical period revolutionary movements enlightened wishes and opened politic-social possibilities for women; and so, as in other history times, they got organized thinking and projecting social emancipation, that in this case took form being guerrilleras. However the path was not easy because even with the revolutionary promise of the «hombre nuevo», apparently neutralized, their experiences show us that their sexed women bodies embodied incomprehensible qualities in that space. Something that affected their revolutionary live. We took some topics of their reflections to make a critic reading that allow us to learn with that guerrilleras voices.

The term «feminization of poverty» was coined by Diane Pearce in 1978 when she found that it was women with children who led poor households. The central objective of this article is to show the trajectories, management, and experiences of women in poverty in Castelló de la Plana (Spain) from their own voice, applying the gender perspective. The methodology used is qualitative, the technique of interviews with a semi-structured script has been used for women of different profiles who are in a situation of poverty or at risk of being so. The results advance that, together with variables or structural factors, such as social origin or employment situation, a set of conjunctural factors or critical life events are added that, on the one hand, converge and intersect, and on the other, they lead to ending up in this situation.
