Ellenbogenfrakturen bei Kindern stellen aufgrund der komplexen, sich entwickelnden Anatomie eine diagnostische und therapeutische Herausforderung dar. Diese Arbeit fokussiert auf die suprakondyläre Humerusfraktur (>50 % aller kindlichen Ellenbogenfrakturen) und Epikondylusfrakturen. Die Klassifikation, diagnostisches Vorgehen und altersspezifische Behandlungsstrategien werden dargestellt. Während undislozierte Frakturen konservativ behandelt werden können, benötigen dislozierte Frakturen meist eine operative Versorgung. Die Prognose ist bei adäquater Therapie überwiegend gut, jedoch können neurovaskuläre Komplikationen und Wachstumsstörungen auftreten. Individualisierte Richtlinien zur Sportrückkehr werden vorgestellt.
Elbow fractures in children present diagnostic and therapeutic challenges due to the complex, developing anatomy. This paper focuses on supracondylar humeral fractures (>50 % of all pediatric elbow fractures) and epicondylar fractures. Classification, diagnostic procedures, and age-specific treatment strategies are presented. While non-displaced fractures can be treated conservatively, displaced fractures usually require surgical intervention. With adequate therapy, prognosis is generally good; however, neurovascular complications and growth disturbances may occur. Individualized guidelines for return to sports are discussed.

Der Golfsport erfreut sich in den vergangenen Jahren in Deutschland zunehmender Beliebtheit, dabei treten Belastungen insbesondere am Bewegungsapparat, v.a. Wirbelsäule, Handgelenk und Schulter auf. Auch wenn mit zunehmendem Alter die Impulse auf die Gelenke eher geringer sind, ist durch die gleichzeitig verringerte Belastungstoleranz des Bewegungsapparates das Risiko für Überlastungsprobleme oder Verletzungen dennoch erhöht. Spieltechnische Anpassungen und wenig aufwendige Präventionsmaßnahmen können Risiken verringern, sodass wegen der positiven allgemeingesundheitlichen Effekte der Golfsport auch im höheren Alter empfohlen werden kann.
The sport of golf has become increasingly popular in Germany in recent years, with strain being placed on the musculoskeletal system in particular, especially the spine, wrist and shoulder. Even if the impulses on the joints tend to decrease with increasing age, the risk of overuse problems or injuries is still increased due to the reduced load tolerance of the musculoskeletal system. Technical adjustments to the game and less costly preventative measures can reduce risks, meaning that golf can also be recommended for older people with functional limitations or even artificial joints due to the positive effects on general health.
