The large scale expansion of online courses has led to the crisis of course quality issues. In this study, we first established an evaluation index system for online courses using factor analysis, encompassing three key constructs: course resource construction, course implementation, and teaching effectiveness. Subsequently, we employed factor analysis and entropy weight TOPSIS multi-attribute decision analysis methods to comprehensively evaluate 541 courses. Later on, we conducted correlation and regression analyses between the evaluation results of these two methods and that of experts. The results reveal that the comprehensive evaluation scores derived from both factor analysis and entropy weight TOPSIS models exhibit a significant positive correlation with the experts'. Furthermore, the factor analysis model outperforms the entropy weight TOPSIS model in predicting experts' evaluation scores. The application of this model will help achieve timely and accurate course evaluation, and provide novel idea and approach for real-time monitoring of online courses quality.

This study uses questionnaire surveys to examine the real impact of incorporating traditional cultural elements into the practice of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. The integration of traditional cultural elements into these practices is the research object of this paper. It realizes the sharing of teaching resources for the integration of traditional culture into the practice of ideological and political education in colleges and universities and examines the impact of network distance education on students' learning interests using SQLServer development tools and network distance education technology. This research evaluates the efficacy of a basketball-based teaching and training system supported by 5G technology in a wireless network environment. Initially are information about the Chinese basketball students is first gathered and then divided into a Control Group (CG) and an Experimental Group (EG). The control group uses the standard method of collegiate basketball instruction, while the experimental group learns the game under the background of 5G technology. For transmitting the basketball teaching data in the 5G network, we proposed a novel routing protocol named Probability-based Coupling Zone Routing Protocol (PbCZRP). An optimization technique called the Shark optimization approach is used to enhance the performance of the routing protocol. Finally, a comparison of the two groups reveals that the experimental group's basketball players fared better than the control group. The basketball training plan powered by 5G will supply students with adaptive learning services that take into account their individual needs and strengths.

Online teaching platforms (OTPs) are becoming important mediums for supporting college students in course learning activities. Their intention to use is critical for promoting learning effectiveness, efficiency, and continuous development of OTPs. Drawing upon the technology acceptance model (TAM), this study builds the research model of students' intention to use the OTPs with consideration of platform characteristics and social influence. The PLS-SEM method is employed to analyze 194 responses from students at a university. The results show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and social influence positively influence students' intention to use. Perceived ease of use positively affects perceived usefulness. In addition, social influence is positively related to perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, respectively. The study extends the TAM model by incorporating social influence to promote it relevant to the context of OTPs. The findings offer insights that universities and OTP providers could adopt to promote the use of OTPs by students.

For the innovation and reform of higher education, this article combines soft computing techniques, artificial intelligence (AI), and 5G networks. This paper outlines the exact processes and measures for incorporating “5G” technology into higher education. Finally, conduct a comparative experiment to see how good the system is at learning AI knowledge when compared to standard learning methods. The study aimed to assess the extent of utilization of the Learning Resource Management System (LRMS) and its impact on student' engagement among 218 college students at ZhongShan College. Utilizing a descriptive correlational approach with a quantitative method, the study found that the students perceived a very high extent of utilization of LRMS, appreciating its clear instructions and regular access to reliable internet. Additionally, the students exhibited high engagement levels with the LRMS regarding online activities, academic relevance, collaboration, and social interaction. Notably, a significant relationship was observed between the extent of LRMS utilization and online academic relevance in students' engagement. The study suggests implementing training programs for students and teachers to enhance LRMS utilization, inform school policies, and promote awareness of its benefits. These findings lay the foundation for future training initiatives and policy enhancements within the educational institution.

The integration of Internet technology and the collaborative development of smart classrooms is an essential step for colleges and universities to advance English instruction reform. This study utilized data mining (DM) technology to analyze the learning process in college English smart classrooms. The results indicate that the DM algorithm used in this study outperforms the other two algorithms across all metrics. After conducting 15 experiments, the centrality of the DM algorithm in this study reached 0.58, exceeding the ant colony algorithm's centrality of 0.42. The decision tree algorithm exhibited the lowest centrality, reaching a maximum value of only 0.39. Consequently, the methodology utilized in this study demonstrates a significant centrality within the classroom, indicating its suitability for investigating University English smart classroom learning. Hence, implementing a University English smart classroom learning model utilizing DM technology represents the primary approach to achieving intelligent education.

This article constructs a multimedia information system for sports sociology education. In terms of methodology, low-density architectures are used to measure and encode sparse signals, and the signal is reconstructed at the receiving end. By calculating the marginal probability distribution of each variable node, the reconstructed image is obtained. The experimental results show that this method performs well in detecting lens mutations and gradients, with a higher recall rate than other algorithms. The accuracy, recall rate, and F-value indicators have significantly improved, reaching 6.328%, 4.27%, and 6.012%, respectively. This method is superior to existing game shot extraction methods and lays the foundation for further detecting exciting events in sports competitions. In summary, this study has important guiding significance for the application of multimedia image processing technology in the field of sports sociology education.
