Persepsi Mahasiswa Terhadap Sistem Unggah Mandiri dan Akses ETD Repositori di Perpustakaan UGM Yogyakarta 学生对自动上传系统的感知和进入UGM日市图书馆的ETD存储库的看法

Repositories in Higher Education have a very important role. In addition to storing scientific work produced by students, the repository also serves to improve the ranking of Webometrics in order to realize World Class University. Therefore the policy of repository development must be done properly by considering the aspect of its users. This study aims to explain the students’ perceptions of independent upload system and ETD access repository in UGM library. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach with data retrieval technique using interview and completed with document. Data analysis is done by data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results show that self-propagation policies and ETD access repository are considered to be very precise according to the perception of users, since the need for electronic information is increasing. The policy must be done to create open access in order to realize the excellent service in the library. Independent upload systems and ETD access repositories can improve their evectivity and efficiency as students can upload and access their final assignments from anywhere and anytime. It also provides security and convenience for students because the files that have been uploaded are stored in the system and can be downloaded or requested to the library whenever needed.Repositori di Perguruan Tinggi memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Selain untuk menyimpan karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan oleh mahasiswa, repositori juga berfungsi untuk meningkatkan peringkat Webometrics dalam rangka mewujudkan World Class University. Oleh karena itu kebijakan pengembangan repositori harus dilakukan secara tepat dengan mempertimbangkan aspek penggunanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap sistem unggah mandiri dan akses ETD repositori di perpustakaan UGM. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara dan dilengkapi dengan dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menjukkan bahwa kebijakan unggah mandiri dan akses ETD repositori dinilai sangat tepat menurut persepsi pemustaka, mengingat kebutuhan terhadap informasi elektronik saat ini semakin meningkat. Kebijakan tersebut wajib dilakukan untuk menciptakan open acces dalam rangka mewujudkan pelayanan prima di perpustakaan. Sistem unggah mandiri dan akses ETD repositori dapat meningkatkan evektifitas dan efisiensi karena mahasiswa dapat men-unggah dan mengakses tugas akhir mereka dari mana saja dan kapan saja. Selain itu juga memberikan keamanan dan kenyamanan bagi mahasiswa karena file yang telah di-unggah tersimpan didalam sistem dan dapat di-download atau diminta ke perpustakaan ketika sewaktu-waktu dibutuhkan.

Persepsi Pemustaka terhadap Pemanfaatan Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi: Sebuah Analisis Korelasi 学生对大学图书馆使用的看法:关系分析

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi persepsi pemustaka dalam memanfaatkan perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dalam hal ini universitas, dan korelasi antara persepsi pemustaka dan pemanfaatan perpustakaan. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan universitas merupakan tempat yang menjadi pilihan untuk belajar dan menghabiskan waktu selama tidak ada perkuliahan di kampus. Kegiatan pemustaka di perpustakaan sering digunakan untuk hal-hal tertentu, termasuk studi individu, membaca, penggunaan komputer, mencari informasi, belajar kelompok, menggunakan layanan referensi dan informasi, dan pertemuan juga diskusi kelompok dan bersosialisasi. Korelasi antara penggunaan perpustakaan dan masing-masing kegiatan pemustaka diamati. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa pemustaka menganggap perpustakaan universitas, sebagai tempat untuk belajar dan mencari informasi. Studi ini menunjukkan bagaimana pemustaka memandang dan menggunakan perpustakaan universitas dapat memperkuat, memberikan wawasan ke dalam proses pembelajaran, menumbuhkan enterpreneurship, dan memajukan peran pemustaka dalam komunitas akademis.This study explores the perception of users in utilizing the college library in this university and the correlation between the perception of the user and the utilization of the library. The findings show that university libraries are the preferred place to study and spend as long as there are no lectures on campus. Library activity is often used for certain things, including individual studies, reading, computer use, information seeking, group learning, reference, and information services, and group meetings and group discussions and socializing. The correlation between the use of libraries and each observation activity is observed. The findings show that the librarian considers the university library, as a place to learn and seek information. This study shows how viewers view and use university libraries can strengthen, provide insight into the learning process, foster entrepreneurship, and advance user roles in the academic community

Representation of Public Library Recreation Function in the film The Library (2015) 公共图书馆娱乐功能在电影《图书馆》(2015)中的表现

This thesis analyses the representation of recreation function in the film The Library (2015). This 20-minute film tells of a teenage girl who gets happiness in the library and gets a lesson about the power of love. The background of all scenes in this film are in a public library in Britain and Emily’s school. This research is using semiotic method with syntagmatic-paradigmatic relation analysis by Roland Barthes. The unit of analysis is the storyline, characters, sentences or statements in each scene in the film. The result of syntagmatic analysis shows that representation of recreation function has worked well as seen from how Emily voluntarily visited library every day to read collections which made her feel love. Paradigmatic analysis shows that the background of the library is the main element that influences the feelings of the characters, such as happiness and pleasure. The conclusion is that this film contains representation of recreation function described with expressions and gestures of Emily and other characters in this film which shows that she was happy after reading the collections in this library and felt new experience that brought her happiness and how Ruth and John found their love. Inaddition, this film conveys education that anyone has the same rights when they visit public library. Indirectly, this film persuasively invites audience to visit public library because they can obtain not only knowledge but also can use its library collection for entertainment and valuable experience.

Jika melihat dari jenisnya, ada beberapa jenis perpustakaan, antara lain perpustakaan sekolah, perpustakaan universitas, perpustakaan pribadi, perpustakaan nasional, dsb. Perpustakaan sekolah menyajikan produk terkait dengan pendidikan sekolah dasar sampai SMA, perpustakaan universitas menyajikan produk yang terkait dengan pendidikan di bangku kuliah, perpustakaan pribadi menyajikan bahan bacaan yang disukai yang mencerminkan kepribadiannya, sedangkan perpustakaan nasional seharusnya menyajikan produk-produk yang mencerminkan negara tersebut. Sejarah sebuah bangsa yang besar akan bisa dilestarikan dari generasi ke generasi melalui perpustakaan nasional. Indonesia dikenal sebagai negara yang memiliki indegenous knowledge (kearifan lokal) serta kekayaan budaya yang besar dan tersebar dari sabang sampai merauke. Selayaknya kearifan lokal serta kekayaan budaya yang dimiliki tersebut dapat dikoleksi di- dalam sebuah perpustakaan. Melalui perkembangan teknologi informasi, pengembangan perpustakaan menjadi sebuah jawaban agar koleksi kearifan lokal dan kekayaan budaya tersebut dapat diakses oleh bangsa Indonesia dari sabang sampai merauke dengan harapan mampu memperkuat serta mempertahankan identitas nasional Indonesia. Namun sejalan dengan pengaruh globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi,semakin terindikasi adanya ancaman terhadap lunturnya kearifan lokal dikalangan generasi penerus. Oleh karena itu,dibutuhkan manifestasi baru agar perpustakaan nasional menjadi hal yang menarik untuk diakses dan ditelusuri oleh generasi muda penerus bangsa, agar identitas nasional tetap dapat dipertahankan. Jurnal merupakan salah satu publikasi ilmiah yang tidak diragukan lagi kredibitas dan kualitas informasi yang ada di dalamnya, karena terdapat proses editorial yang panjang sebelum informasi tersebut diterbitkan. Namun ada beberapa jurnal yang kurang berkualitas. Untuk mengukur kualitas suatu publikasi ilmiah jurnal dapat dilakukan dengan menghitung produktivitas jurnal tersebut, perihitungan tersebut menggunakan kaidah Bradford. Artikel ini memberikan ulasan tentang produktivitas jurnal Yuridika Fakultas hukum Universitas Airlangga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan perhitungan menggunakan kaidah Bradford. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa pola distribusi jurnal Yurdika dalam kurun waktu tiga tahun yaitu 2015-2017 dengan total artikel sebanyak 254 dan terdapat 131 nama jurnal sesuai dengan pola distribusi bradford 1 : n : n 2 . Pembagian pola distribusi tersebut yaitu sebanyak 4 jurnal mencakup 92 artikel, sebanyak 22 jurnal mencakup 57 artikel, dan sebanyak 105 jurnal mencakup 105 artikel. Dari perhitungan menggunakan kaidah Bradford ini dapat menunjukkan bahwa Jurnal Yuridika merupakan salah satu literatur dalam bidang subjek hukum yang berpengaruh dan sebagai alat komunikasi ilmiah untuk mempublikasikan hasil penelitian.

The library in this modern era in the advancement of information technology needs to be developed towards data integeration. Network communication between libraries can be a means of good learning, effective and efficient. The problem often encountered in collaborating on the business process for integeration of library data is the difference of application to the user of each part. Technology that can integrate data even though different applications / platforms on end users with web service technology. With the web service for RESTFul method can bridge the integration of data exchange for book refrence in library so that can be know where and where book have references to references book or document needed. Restful technology is created with java class and database as prototype and simulation. Clear and viable business processes can be integrated into an integrated information system.

Information search is important in supporting the activity of “Tri Dharma PerguruanTinggi”. Student information search results are often found to be very similar to statementsin the reference used. Skills in the use of information reflect the understandingof college librarians against information literacy. The research method used in compilingthis article is by qualitative research. In this research used information tracingmodel with stages namely: starting, chaining, browsing, differentiating, monitoring,extracting, verifying, and ending. The study was conducted on 143 users from StateUniversity of Padang (UNP) and University of Andalas (Unand). The results showedthat the lecturer is an important source of information for the user to know the initialreference that will be used in the completion of academic tasks. In addition, collegelibrarians have a high dependence on internet resources. In terms of the formulationof information retrieval results, some readers use the full statement in reference. Inother words, the user does not formulate the search results according to his or herunderstanding. However, some others

This paper aims to explain the development of promotional products in Library elementaryMuhammadiyah Condongcatur, through the creation of library bulletins.In this study, the authors aim to explain the six stages in the implementation of thisprogram: 1) analyze user needs, 2) build partnerships, 3) develop activities and resources,4) implementation of promotion, 4) evaluation. The results of this study isa bulletin product that can be used as a library promotion tool and as an activity toincrease interest in reading and writing for all school civitas. The program in this studyneeds to be addressed as there are many other elementary school libraries to developpromotion at the primary school level.

Literacy improvement activities include sharing information literacy activitieswith teachers, librarian lectures and competence activities of short story competitions.The results of the service activities include the establishment of cooperation related to thedevelopment of school literacy contained in the MoU, students’ understanding of schoolliteracy which reached 63% and the publication of a collection of short stories ISBN.
