An averaged large-signal modeling method for resonant converters 谐振变换器的平均大信号建模方法

An averaged large-signal modelling method for resonant converters is presented, which is based on the classification of the state variables according to their dynamic behaviour. The modelling technique is applied to a series-parallel resonant converter, which is controlled for switching at zero-resonant current. Based on the averaged model, a sliding mode controller for this resonant converter is proposed, which provides robustness in relation to external disturbances and a good dynamic response of the output voltage.

Series-connected, all-hybrid converters for utility interactive applications 串联连接,全混合转换器,用于公用事业交互式应用

Power electronics systems can provide solutions to power quality problems in the form of active filters and advanced SVCs (STATCOM). A conventional approach involves a pulse-width-modulated converter which is interfaced to the utility voltage (for example at the 13.8 kV level) through a line-frequency transformer. This increases the size and the cost of the system and introduces additional losses. This paper describes a per-phase, all-active approach where the need for a line-frequency transformer is eliminated by series connected converters. This all-active solution is a hybrid combination of two (or more) converters switching at line frequency (or its low multiple) and one converter pulse width modulated at a higher switching frequency. This paper includes the following: criteria for optimization, experimental results from a proof-of-concept laboratory prototype for an active filter application, and a comparative evaluation with the six-switch PWM converter for an SVC application.

An experimental study on tracking control of two autonomous mobile robots 两自主移动机器人跟踪控制的实验研究

In this paper, two autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) are reconstructed from the archetypal remote model cars. One is called the target AMR and the other one is the tracker AMR. At first, the authors introduce the structures of these AMRs, where the sensor arrangements are examined. A fuzzy logic controller is designed to implement the path planning (wall following) for the target AMR such that the target can go straight or move in a circle. They design two controllers, a steering angle controller and speed controller, for the tracker AMR such that the tracker AMR can track and follow the target AMR. Finally, the online fuzzy steering angle and speed controllers are developed such that the tracker AMR can track the target AMR and go with a fixed distance after the target. Both simulations and real-time manipulations demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed schemes.

Expert system for diagnosing equipment failures 设备故障诊断专家系统

The unexpected failure of equipment that stops production in industrial plants can be very expensive. This paper presents an expert system that was developed to assist nonexpert personnel to reduce the amount of time that a steel mill is out of production due to equipment failures. The expert system implemented provides the user with step-by-step test and repair information so that the machine can be fixed in minimum time at minimum cost.

SRM drive system with improved power factor 改进功率因数的SRM驱动系统

The switched reluctance motor (SRM) has the advantages of simple structure, low rotor inertia and high power rate per unit volume. However, the SRM has the disadvantages of high current harmonics and low power factor because of the pulse-type discontinuous excitation. This paper investigates an SRM drive system with reduced harmonics and improved power factor. The system consists of a switching power converter with power factor correction (SPC-PFC), a DC/DC power converter and a three-phase inverter. The SPC-PFC is designed to produce a pure sinusoidal input current, improve the power factor and reduce harmonics. The performances in the proposed system are verified through both simulation and experiments.

Planning the motion for a manipulator in a dynamic environment 机械臂在动态环境中的运动规划

In this paper, the authors present a novel approach to plan the motion for a manipulator operating in a dynamic environment where the information of obstacles cluttered in the work space is unknown. Obstacles in the work space could be stationary or moving objects. The collision-free motion of the robot is generated in the robot's configuration space. Based on the fact that the static obstacles always impose constraints on the motion of the robot while the time-varying obstacles only impose constraints on the motion of the robot within the specific time period, hence the time-varying obstacles are treated differently from the static obstacles. The motion planner is composed of two components, i.e. a static planner and a dynamic planner. The potential field mechanism used for the motion planner will guarantee its completeness. Simulation results demonstrate the performance of the planner for a planar robot.

Control philosophies of PWM inverter-fed induction motors PWM逆变式感应电动机的控制原理

In this paper a review of control methods for high performance PWM inverter-fed induction motor drives is presented. Starting from the description of an induction motor by the help of the space vectors, three basic control strategies are discussed. First, the most popular field oriented control (FOC) is described. Secondly, the direct torque and flux vector control (DTFC) method, which-in contrast to FOC-departs from idea of coordinate transformation and analogy with the DC motor, is briefly characterized. The last group is based on feedback linearization control (FLC) and can be easy combined with sliding mode control. The simulation and experimental oscillograms that illustrate the performance of the discussed control strategies are shown.

The blinking clock syndrome: improving customer perceptions of residential power quality using double-layer capacitors 闪烁时钟综合症:使用双层电容器改善用户对住宅电力质量的感知

Digital clocks are found in many household appliances such as alarm clocks, microwave ovens, and VCRs. Many of these clocks contain insufficient capacitor ride-through capability or ineffective battery backup. Therefore, these devices are very sensitive to short duration power interruptions. These interruptions manifest themselves by causing the clock display to blink, which in turn causes the customer's perception of the power quality of the utility to be negative. Described in this paper is a UPS which employs double-layer capacitors for the backup power supply. The UPS design is based on a push-pull amplifier that utilizes a simple oscillator circuit to produce the 60 Hz AC voltage needed for the load. The UPS has been constructed and extensively tested in the laboratory on a digital alarm clock. Backup power can provided to the clock for over 30 seconds using a double-layer capacitor bank, which is sufficient since most power interruptions are cleared within 30 seconds.

Robust speed control of PMSM using Kalman filter load torque observers 基于卡尔曼滤波负载转矩观测器的永磁同步电机鲁棒速度控制

In this paper, a robust speed control system with a permanent magnetic synchronous motor (PMSM) using a Kalman filter load torque observer is presented. Compared to other modern complex control algorithms, the observer algorithm is very simple and effective in reducing the effect of the disturbances. An IP speed controller using ITAE is used as the main controller, and the parameter controller (PC) is used to make the system robust with respect to rotor inertia negative variations; the PC is a parameter controller which selects a moment of inertia J according to the load torque to control the system response. Also, to overcome practical difficulties in obtaining inertia variation for the experiments, an electrical equivalent circuit was proposed and used. Finally a microcomputer-based system is implemented. Then simulation and experimental results are described to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Design of PWM inverter via servo control technique 基于伺服控制技术的PWM逆变器设计

A novel control technique based on servo control to generate high-quality sinusoidal output voltage for a PWM inverter is presented in this paper. The proposed algorithm can be implemented easily by a digital signal processor because the PWM pattern can be accurately determined at each sampling interval. It provides an excellent voltage regulation, harmonic suppression and fast transient response. Thus, the proposed PWM inverter is very suitable for uninterruptible power supply (UPS). Finally, the computer simulation and experimental results are presented to demonstrate the validity of this technique.
