Observer based robust H/sub /spl infin// control design for rail guidance systems 基于观测器的轨道制导系统鲁棒H/sub /spl //控制设计

This paper proposes an optimal and a robust control design approach for position sensorless active rail vehicle guidance control design. As the first step an observer based H/sub /spl infin// state-feedback control of a wheelset system is designed. After that, the effect of parameter uncertainty on the self sensing control of a nonlinear rail wheelset system is investigated and a new controller is designed by including the modeling of parameter uncertainties. The simulation results are satisfactory and in good agreement with previous work.

Feed-forward algorithms for time-optimal settling of hard disk drive servo systems 硬盘驱动器伺服系统时间最优沉降的前馈算法

This paper presents novel time-optimal feedforward algorithms for a disk drive servo system with rotary actuator. The proposed method specifically minimizes the settling time of the servo positioning systems by applying an appropriate feedforward signal at seek-track hand off in the presence of bias disturbances. Two feedforward schemes have been investigated in the paper. They are the constant feedforward scheme and the exponential feedforward scheme. It is shown that while the former yields minimum settling time, the latter gives better robustness of the system performance when the estimation of the bias disturbance is subject to statistical errors. The proposed control schemes have been implemented on a test stand with a 3.5" hard disk drive. Using the proposed scheme, seek time has been improved by as much as 38% for short seeks and 54% for long seeks. Both simulation and experimental results are shown. The proposed algorithms are simple and can be easily integrated with the existing disk drive servo control systems. The stability of the servo system been augmented will not be affected.

Object recognition using a dynamic relaxation method 目标识别采用动态松弛方法

In this paper, we show a novel approach for solving the classical feature matching problem between a pair of predicted and extracted images. Point features are considered, and the feature matching is performed using a dynamic relaxation method. The proposed method examines the evidence in the local neighborhoods of a possible matching predicted and extracted feature pair and determines the validity of the current match. The advantage of the proposed method is that the match process is performed simultaneously for all possible matching features. The simultaneous process allows a set of possible matching pairs to compete against other sets of possible matching pairs without putting any restrictions on the order of which a match must be performed. The method may be especially attractive when the geometric relationships between features in an image are unclear. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method using several examples.

This paper describes a new method to select the optimum sinewave PWM patterns of a large-capacity current source-fed active PWM AC/DC converter and a practical procedure to design its input AC side low-pass filter which is used to suppress higher harmonics flowing Into the utility-grid power source. A feasible test is carried out using a 500 kVA active PWM converter which is designed and operated for unique considerations mentioned above. It Is verified that these new considerations are more effective to minimize higher harmonic current components flowing into the utility-grid AC line. Furthermore, this experimental work provides highly efficient AC/DC converter characteristics under a unity power factor correction and sinewave line current shaping schemes.

Flux and torque control of an induction machine using linear discrete state space approach 基于线性离散状态空间方法的感应电机磁链和转矩控制

This paper proposes a novel strategy to achieve the decoupling flux and torque control of AC drive systems by using the state space approach. The control strategy relies upon the use of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) state space controllers. The controller is designed using the pole placement technique. Results of the proposed scheme are presented and compared with the field orientation controller. The presented technique provides good steady-state and fast transient response performance.

Low cost rangemap obtaining for mobile robots based on a triangulation rangefinder 基于三角测距仪的移动机器人低成本测距图获取

The objective of the present work is the development of a low-cost triangulation rangefinder, capable of providing a cost effective alternative to ultrasonic rangefinders with the superior performance of optical systems. On one hand, light is not reflected, but backscattered by man-made surfaces, thus eliminating the problem of multipath echoes. On the other hand, the divergence of a light beam is much smaller than that of an ultrasonic beam, which allows for higher lateral resolution. In this paper, we show first the measuring technique and the system developed in this work. And then we show the results achieved with this system.

A multi-resonant converter for non-contact charging with electromagnetic coupling 一种用于电磁耦合非接触充电的多谐振变换器

A parallel resonant power converter (PRC-LLCC) is analyzed for automatic inductive charging applications. The tank circuit of this power converter consists of a leakage inductance, a magnetizing inductance and two power capacitors with an inductive output filter. This converter allows the transfer of power without oversizing the inverter and a soft-switching mode of the transistors. The soft-switching mode and the sensitivity to the load variation, the coupling factor and the air gap (6-8 mm) are studied using the first harmonic method. The choice of the working range and the validity limit of the analysis method are presented. Theoretical results are validated experimentally with a 3 kW prototype.

Application of a matrix converter for the power control of a variable-speed wind-turbine driving a doubly-fed induction generator 矩阵变换器在双馈感应发电机驱动的变速风力发电机组功率控制中的应用

A grid-connected wind-power generation scheme using a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) in conjunction with a direct AC-AC matrix converter is proposed. The analysis employs a stator-flux vector-control algorithm and a space vector modulated matrix converter to control the generator rotor current. The system enables optimal speed tracking for maximum energy capture from the wind and high performance active and reactive power regulation. The paper describes the operating principles of this power generation scheme. The matrix converter-based rotor current control scheme is highlighted. Simulation studies of the proposed power generation system were carried out. Results obtained are presented illustrating the good control performance of the system.

Modified AFC runout cancellation and its influence on track following 改进的AFC跳动取消及其对航迹跟踪的影响

This paper investigates the design and implementation of an adaptive feedforward cancellation (AFC) technique to cancel runout in a hard disk drive. An extension to the AFC, the modified AFC, is proposed to overcome some of the limitations of the AFC scheme. When designed to compensate for one runout frequency, the modified AFC can eliminate the intended harmonic without amplifying the adjacent harmonics. This eases the design of a controller to cancel multiple harmonics. Also, the modified AFC is more robust than the AFC since it improves the phase and gain margins. Simulation and laboratory implementation results are presented to show the performance improvements of the proposed modified AFC.

An extension to the AFC, the modified AFC, is proposed to overcome some of the limitations of the AFC scheme. When designed to compensate for one runout frequency, the modified AFC can eliminate the intended harmonic without amplifying the adjacent harmonics. This eases the design of a controller to cancel multiple harmonics. Also, the modified AFC is more robust than the AFC since it improves the phase and gain margins. Five-channel control signal transmission system using DSP 五路控制信号传输系统采用DSP

Digital signal processing (DSP) has become an important modern tool to transmit control signals. This paper discusses a five-channel control signal transmission system so that it can simultaneously transmit five channels of parallel digital data at low frequencies. This new system is characterized by the realization of the BPFs used for data detection. Each frequency component is picked up from multifrequencies utilizing the DSP hardware in accordance with the algorithm used to realize a bandpass filter (BPF). The BPF output has a sharp cutoff which eliminates crosstalk among the other frequencies even though the frequency is in the range of 400 Hz to 600 Hz unlike the conventional BPF realized by operational amplifiers. When frequencies of 400 Hz and 600 Hz were applied to the BPF at the same time as and when the BPF had a bandpass characteristic at a center frequency of 500 Hz, the crosstalk was -40 dB or less. When an envelope of a stepwise input at a repetition rate of 1 Hz or less was applied, the delay time was 15 ms. Due to the excellent performance, multifrequency signals at low frequencies compress the bandwidth needed for transmission and eliminate the skewing of data transmission since the time delay is independent of the frequencies of the multifrequency signals.
