Since the beginning of the financial crisis, no matter the domestic or the international environment of the bank industry has become more complex and the competition also becomes fiercer. After a series of financial system reforms, China’s banking industry has already actively participated in the fierce market competition. This paper examines the competitiveness and equilibrium of China’s commercial Banks from 2008 to 2017 by using the Panzar-Rosse model. At the end of this essay, some suggestions are proposed, so as to ensure that in the furious market competitiveness, the banking industry of China can develop healthily and placidly.

Micro and Small-Scale Enterprises (MSE) are important in almost all developing economies in the world, characterized by unemployment, import dependency and income distribution challenges. Establishing Micro and Small-Scale Enterprises (MSE) is not blowing pressure through a basket; rather it is about having innovations, inventions and sharing ideas. It takes more than what we think about an idea of establishing a startup. It is significantly important that excellent planning and management of the available resources is critical for start-up success. We look forward to discussing about availability and performance of MSE.

This research paper was intended to provide a conceptual discussion related to the newly arisen business model termed as “China-Plus-One”, which deals with the practice of international trade between China and a 3rd world Asian country. One of the key achievements of this strategy is that it encourages mutually beneficial trade across geographical boundary. Different world recognized global studies had proclaimed that the Southeast Asiatic region will be the next hotspot of textile and apparel trade due to the availability of raw materials and low paid labor force. As a result, numerous industrial groups of China are looking forward to attaining comparative business advantages by investing at another location of manufacturing in the Southeast Asia. This research paper conveyed a two-fold story. In the very beginning, it was expected to evaluate the comparative market position of the major textile and apparel trade competitors (especially China, Bangladesh and Vietnam). Later on, it analyzed the pattern of rapidly changing business situation due to competitive production factors such as labor cost, logistic support, utility cost, ease of doing business, corruption index etc. Though “China-Plus-One” strategy is a promising one, not that much study hadn’t yet taken place regarding it. China-Plus-One strategy appears to be beneficial for both firms that seek to pursue it with a view to risk diversification, cost advantage, product and market diversification. The purpose of this study is to sort out the convergence or divergence of textile and apparel trade in the Southeast Asiatic region due to this business philosophy.

Customers nowadays are increasingly using online shopping due to its convenience in terms of time and cost, in addition to providing a vast variety of products and services and allowing customer to compare between different products. Several factors can affect the satisfaction levels of online customers including the quality of logistics services. This paper studies the relationship between logistics service quality (LSQ) dimensions and customer satisfaction and then studies the impact of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty. The study targeted online shoppers in Egypt and 292 responses were collected. The findings of the study revealed that information quality, product quality, product condition and reverse logistics are the most significant variable relating to customer satisfaction and that customer satisfaction has a significant impact on customer loyalty. This study can help online retailers in identifying areas of improvements to achieve higher levels of customer satisfaction.

We find that there is a same tendency between credit ratings and bond defaults by analyzing the status quo of defaults in Chinese market and credit ratings from 2015 to 2020. Caused by the interest conflicts of business models, ancillary business, public information ratings and horizontal competition, the quality of credit rating is badly impacted, thus resulting in the defaults. Therefore, we explain the reasons for such a tendency from interest conflict perspectives. We also offer some proposals to avoid default problems and improve the ratings provided by credit rating agencies, so as to promote the healthy development of bond market and preventing the systemic risks that bond market brings. Consequently, our study systematically concludes the interest conflict problems that lead to rating inflation and enriches related literature.

This study aims to present a description of the economic impact of COVID-19 in Asia, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. This pandemic outbroke in the city of Wuhan in China, spreading to approximately 213 countries and territories around the world and is still ongoing. We are particularly interested in investigating the economic outlook for COVID-19. This document uses data from scientific contributions published in the Dimensions research academic database; starting from the fact that this situation is an event in development, still. In addition, the bibliometric analysis tools of science from this Dimensions platform are used. In addition, VOSviewer software was used to build and visualize bibliometric science networks. To explore this issue in depth, we divided the economic impact into several regions, that is, the Chinese economy, the Central Asian economies, the South Asian economies, the Southeast and West Asian economies, the European economies, the North African, North African economies, Middle East. With all intention, the document avoids the information that is handled in the American continent, since it is a much more accessible and current knowledge in our geo-economic contact. This scientific contribution concludes that epidemic situations seriously affect economies around the world. The basic reasons behind such severity are labor immobility, reduced productivity, supply chain disruption, decreased exports, uncertainty, etc. This study is of interest for companies and legislators to estimate and plan current and post-pandemic situations.

This research is aimed at evaluating the extent to which change management impacts on employee’s performance in the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission Sector. The study adopted research design based on data collected through questionnaire survey distributed to staff of the Commission. Questionnaires were distributed electronically to 80 employees and 60 completed questionnaires were returned at a response rate of 75%. Non-probability sampling techniques were used. Using descriptive and inferential statistics methods, this study found that a positive relationship existed between various changes in the Commission, the attitude of employees to work and their general performance. To the best knowledge of the researcher, few empirical studies have been conducted to determine how change management has impacted on employee performance in the Nigerian public sector; specifically, in the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission. This study aims to fill that gap.

The purpose of this research was to explore the failure of some leaders within the Air Force Technical Applications Center to leverage emotional intelligence, resulting in a decrease in organizational performance. The participants included members who work for the Air Force Technical Applications Center. A small sample, representative of the larger agency population, comprised unspecified numbers who underwent observation, and 21 of the 2302 total personnel participated in the interviews. Data collection consisted of observations, interviews with personnel, and organizational archival data. Data analysis included qualitative analysis and analysis for triangulation. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data; 5 themes emerged: operational environment, the stigma associated with emotions and military members, resilience, transformation, and decision making. The study results indicated that when members of an organization do not understand a skill, such as emotional intelligence, they cannot wield it as effectively to enhance their decision-making and increase the organizational performance of their organization. The implementation for positive change includes the Air Force Technical Applications Center personnel can engage in a variety of potential implementation strategies to increase their emotional intelligence, thereby enhancing organizational performance and decision-making. Leaders considering strategies to implement for self-perception can look toward self-regard, self- actualization, and emotional self-awareness. Personnel who want to focus on self-expression can implement strategies to improve emotional expression, assertiveness, independence. Interpersonal managers can implement strategies on interpersonal relationships, empathy, and social responsibility.

The purpose of this paper is to construct the operationalization of dynamic marketing capabilities and analyze its effectiveness in overseas market. The author examines the impacts of dynamic marketing capabilities on performance based upon the sample of 180 export companies in Korea. The findings reveal that dynamic marketing capabilities such as “market responding capabilities” and “marketing resource rebuilding capabilities” have significant impacts on performance in exporting. The result verifies the effectiveness of dynamic marketing capabilities in performance. It is necessary for firms to build dynamic marketing capabilities to achieve the desired performance, especially in the overseas market, where the market environment is completely different. Even though this study attempts to shed new light on theory of dynamic capabilities from a marketing perspective, there is a need for continuous discussions and research around the conceptualization and operationalization of dynamic marketing capabilities.
