A New Design of HDB3 Encoder and Decoder Based on FPGA 基于FPGA的HDB3编解码器设计

A new design of HDB3 encoder / decoder based on FPGA is proposed to deal with the high complexity and long output delay of the encoder and no error correction function of the decoder which have been implemented so far. The encoder has the function of converting a NRZ code sequence to a HDB3 sequence and the decoder, vice versa. Meanwhile the decoder can correct the errors in the received HDB3 sequence according to a certain rule. Synthesis reports show that the encoder and decoder are both simple–structured; Simulation results show that the encoder has a shorter output delay and the decoder has a better function of error detecting and correcting which greatly improves the reliability of the system.
针对目前已实现的HDB3编/解码器高复杂度、输出延迟长以及解码器无纠错功能的问题,提出了一种基于FPGA的HDB3编/解码器设计方案。编码器具有将NRZ编码序列转换为HDB3序列的功能,解码器具有将NRZ编码序列转换为HDB3序列的功能,反之亦然。同时,解码器根据一定的规则对接收到的HDB3序列中的错误进行校正。综合报告表明,该编码器和解码器结构简单;仿真结果表明,该编码器具有较短的输出延迟,解码器具有较好的检错和纠错功能,大大提高了系统的可靠性。

The Consistency of Size Effect: Time Periods, Regression Methods, and Database Selection 规模效应的一致性:时间周期、回归方法和数据库选择

We try to reconcile the findings of prior size effect studies by re-examining the issue with different time periods, regression methods, and database selection. We test whether the size effect varies in relation to the time period, whether extreme observations cause the size effect, by experimenting with different regression methods, and whether the survivorship bias in the COMPUSTAT database induces the size effect. It is found that the size effect is highly significant for data from the earlier time period, but its significance is noticeably reduced for the later time period. Extreme returns cannot fully account for the size effect, because the effect remains strong in the earlier time period even when the extreme observations are trimmed. Finally, we do not find any evidence indicating that the survivorship bias in the COMPUSTAT database is responsible for the size effect.

Research on Topic Relevancy of Sentences Based on HowNet Semantic Computation 基于HowNet语义计算的句子主题相关性研究

In Automatic Question Answering System, topic identification is usually based on relevancy computation of sentences. This paper introduces an approach to compute topic relevancy. Using the semantic computation in HowNet, the relevancy of sentences can be calculated. The topic relevancy of sentences can be calculated through the computation of relevancy between words of sentence and subject words. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the method.
在自动问答系统中,主题识别通常是基于句子的相关性计算。本文介绍了一种计算主题相关性的方法。利用HowNet的语义计算,可以计算出句子的相关度。通过计算句子与主题词之间的关联度,可以计算出句子的主题关联度。实验结果表明了该方法的有效性。

XML Functional Dependency and Schema Normalization XML功能依赖和模式规范化

Normalization theory is necessary for designing a good XML document. A good document means that it has minimal redundancy. The research on XML functional dependency and normalization is still an open problem. This paper first presents a path language of XML model, then proposes a new kind of XML functional dependency (XFD) that has stronger expression ability to XML functional dependency that can result in redundancies. In this paper, the problems of XFD logical implication and XFD closure are studied and a group of the corresponding inference rules is proposed. Based on the XFD, a kind of XML normal form (XNF) and an algorithm converting into XNF are also proposed in this paper.

Singular Rough Decision and Secure Transmission of Decision Conclusion 奇异粗糙决策与决策结论的安全传输

Singular rough sets is defined by R-element equivalence class, which has dynamic characteristic. By engrafting, crossing, and penetrating between information security theory and singular rough sets, singular rough decision is given, furthermore secure transmission of decision conclusion is also presented in this paper. The fusion and share between singular rough sets and information security theory is a new research direction of the application in information system.

An Enhancement of JPEG Still Image Compression with Adaptive Linear Regression and Golomb-Rice Coding 利用自适应线性回归和Golomb-Rice编码增强JPEG静态图像压缩

The JPEG compression method is one of the most popular compression schemes. There are many hardware and software systems based on the JPEG compression standard.This is an indication that the format is still very important before these systems become outdate. This paper presents an adaptive regression method applied to the standard JPEG compression for archiving higher compression ratios. Besides,an interesting coding scheme, Golomb-Rice coding, is introduced also for improve the JPEG standard. Since the coding scheme is not based on frequency analysis from certain of images to gain a codebook, the decoded images that are encoded with this scheme are assured in average quality. The standard JPEG compression scheme can import these two for higher compression rates or wider application fields.

RBF Neural Network Based on Fuzzy Evolution Kalman Filtering and Application in Mine Safety Monitoring 基于模糊演化卡尔曼滤波的RBF神经网络及其在矿山安全监测中的应用

Fuzzy information fusion methods are adopted widely to resolve the complicated nonlinear problems in recent years. This paper proposes a fusion learning algorithm of radial basis function (RBF) neural network based on fuzzy evolution Kalman filtering. By using this proposed method, monitoring data are extracted and optimized in mine safety monitoring, and Matlab simulation results are analyzed. The results show that this method has feasibility and rapid learning efficiency, which can improve precision and reliability in mine monitoring systems.
近年来,模糊信息融合方法被广泛用于解决复杂的非线性问题。提出了一种基于模糊进化卡尔曼滤波的径向基函数神经网络融合学习算法。利用该方法对矿井安全监测中的监测数据进行了提取和优化,并对Matlab仿真结果进行了分析。结果表明,该方法具有可行性和快速学习效率,可提高矿井监测系统的精度和可靠性。

Effectively Answering Schema-Free XML Queries over Document-Centric Data 有效地回答以文档为中心的数据上的无模式XML查询

Schema-free query processing has become a key technique of XML query for the absence of structural information or over multiple data sources. It is an important issue to effectively and efficiently filter out correct results from many meaningless results. To solve the basic problem of what are meaningful results, we propose a structure-based model for meaningful result determination. This model covers more correct results than typical model like Interconnection- Relationship and MLCAS. The extensive experiments show that our approach has better querying quality for real XML documents.

Chinese Unknown Words Extraction Based on Word-Level Characteristics 基于词级特征的汉语未知词提取

The automatic recognition of unknown words is an important problem in Chinese information processing. Based on the characteristics of words, this paper proposes a method to recognize new words using high frequent strings. Firstly, the high frequent strings from each single document are extracted as candidate strings. Then the strings that cannot satisfy the characteristics of word’s distribution and word’s independently usage are removed. Finally, segment the entire corpus with these candidate strings, and count the word-frequency for further filtering. Experimental results show that, on the documents about basketball downloaded from Zaobao Newspaper, this method achieves an F-score of 79.39%.
未知词的自动识别是汉语信息处理中的一个重要问题。本文根据单词的特点,提出了一种利用高频字符串识别新词的方法。首先,从每个文档中提取高频字符串作为候选字符串;然后去除不能满足单词分布和单词独立使用特征的字符串。最后,用这些候选字符串分割整个语料库,并计算单词频率以进行进一步过滤。实验结果表明,该方法对从《早报》下载的篮球相关文献的f值为79.39%。

In this paper, a new method of image enhancement, which only depends on the difference of grey values of adjacency flat zones of an image, is proposed according to the theory of morphological reconstruction. First of all, a non-idempotent connected operator which can be the criterion for multi-scale enhancement is defined and the criterion is a key to enhancement of an image. Subsequently, the grey values in same the simple connected zones of an image are enhanced overall so the way can keep the immovability of the image contour. At last the connected zones of an image and their relations are described and the way of the multi-scale morphological reconstruction enhancement for an image is implemented by using maximum tree or minimum tree structure. Lots of experimental results indicate that this method can not only stretch the contrast according to the character of gray level of connected zones of an image, but also protect the relations of gray level of connected zones. It’s an effective enhancement method of an image.
本文根据形态学重构理论,提出了一种仅依靠图像相邻平面区域灰度值差异进行图像增强的新方法。首先定义了一个非幂等连通算子作为图像多尺度增强的判据,该判据是图像增强的关键。然后,对图像中相同简单连通区域的灰度值进行整体增强,以保持图像轮廓的不动性。最后描述了图像的连通区域及其相互关系,并利用最大树或最小树结构实现了图像的多尺度形态重建增强。大量实验结果表明,该方法既能根据图像连通区域的灰度特征对对比度进行拉伸,又能很好地保护连通区域的灰度关系。这是一种有效的图像增强方法。
