Purpose of the study: The subject of consideration is the process of adaptation and assimilation of children from Ukraine after the traumatic experience of the Russian invasion and forced emigration, which meant the need to adapt to life in the new reality. The main focus of the article is on the measures taken by Polish educational institutions, and above all on the support provided to Ukrainian children in terms of alleviating the stress associated with the transition into the mode of learning in a new place and a foreign language. This requires the implementation of a program of therapeutic activities tailored to the needs of children in war crises. Methodology: The article was prepared based on the method of critical review of the literature on war trauma and the literature treating the emigration of children from Ukraine affected by war in the context of the adaptation and assimilation process that takes place in Polish educational institutions, as well as the analysis of therapeutic cases appearing in the professional work of the author of this publication. Main findings: The study shows that the process of adaptation of emigrants to life in the new realities is based primarily on assimilation and integration while excluding their separation and marginalization. Polish schools that receive students from Ukraine should provide them with appropriate conditions, which means implementing new organizational solutions and taking the necessary care and educational measures to enable children to actively participate in classes. Application of the study: The presented article deals with the emigration of children from Ukraine taking into account the process of adaptation and assimilation in Polish educational institutions. It implies important considerations in the field of sociology and psychology. After all, thanks to the use of appropriate sociological tools, we can approximate and then analyze the problem of migration, which is an opportunity to improve the demographic structure (by inhibiting depopulation in Poland), while psychological tools allow us to trace the problem of emigration in terms of adaptation of children from Ukraine in new conditions in terms of the support provided to them (psychological and pedagogical assistance). Originality/Novelty of the study: The issue of emigration of children from Ukraine taking into account the process of adaptation and assimilation in Polish educational institutions has not yet been developed jointly in sociological and psychological aspects. This article, however, pays attention to both dimensions, since the situation can improve the demographic structure of Poland, which, however, requires providing children from Ukraine with adequate psychological and pedagogical assistance that will facilitate their adaptation and assimilation process in our country.

Research objective: The aim of the article is to analyze and identify the relationship between the factors of G. Hofstede's cultural model and the method of regulating access to the accounting profession in the surveyed European countries. For the purposes of the study, the thesis was adopted that countries with a system of external regulation or a system of self-regulation with external control will be characterized by: 1) A large distance to power; 2) A high level of individualism; 3) A low level of masculinity (femininity); 4) A high degree of avoidance of uncertainty; 5) A low degree of long-term orientation; 6) A low level of indulgence. In the context of dilemmas regarding the potential method of regulating the accounting profession in Poland, the cultural conditions of this country were also examined in order to position them in comparison to other countries with a system of external regulations or self-regulation with external supervision. Methodology: For the purposes of the article, the desk reaserch method, literature studies and analysis of the content of legal provisions and other regulations regarding the principles of practicing the accounting profession in selected European countries were used. Main conclusions: The results of the study allowed to conclude that countries applying external regulations or self-regulation with external supervision are characterized by a specific palette of common cultural factors according to the G. Hofstede model. In particular, the thesis that countries applying external regulation or self-regulation with external supervision of access to the accounting profession are characterized by a relatively high degree of avoidance of uncertainty and distance from power and a relatively lower degree of masculinity compared to countries based on self-regulatory mechanisms of the accounting profession proved to be true. The least important feature for the tendency to regulate the accounting profession is the feature of long-term orientation. The remaining factors - low levels of individualism and low levels of indulgence - have a moderate impact on the tendency to establish strict regulations of the accounting profession. Application of the study: The results of the study allow to assess the adequacy of specific regulatory solutions in the field of the accounting profession and accounting itself and to predict and assess accounting behavior originating from specific cultural circles in the context of globalization. In practical terms, they are part of the ongoing discussion undertaken by the Ministry of Finance in Poland and the accounting community in Poland in 2022 on the return to regulation of the accounting profession in the country. Purpose of the study: This article discusses the concept of a business model. Various concepts are presented to define this research object. Methodology: The survey was conducted on a group of restaurants from Krakow. The study allowed us to identify three business models. Main findings: It has been shown that there is no unanimity among researchers, not only as to what a business model is (a plan, a tool, a description of a system) but also as to its components. By characterizing the universal types of business models, with particular emphasis on the nature of restaurant business models, it was shown that the model should be best adapted to the specifications of the sector and the objectives of the company, and also the components may differ concerning the other sectors' business models and concerning the other sectors' business models. The business model is directly related to management strategy, so it should be a plan providing the best possible operation of the company that allows it to be competitive in the field. Application of the study: A realistic depiction of the restaurant business model diversity. Originality/Novelty of the study: The work combines theoretical and practical approaches to the topic of business models with a particular focus on the gastronomy industry.

Purpose of the study: The research goal of the article was to analyze the fiscal enforcement model in the Second Polish Republic's legal system. The research problems are: whether the enforcement activities carried out had a clear legal basis; were the enforcement actions carried out without charge at the time they were carried out? Methodology: The article was prepared based on the literature on the legal aspects of fiscal enforcement in the Second Polish Republic. "Desk research" is the method that was used in the analysis. Main findings: The fiscal enforcement institution in the Second Polish Republic fulfilled its role, as well as the normative acts issued by the legislator regulating its scope, also through numerous amendments, accurately adapted the enforcement provisions to the then dynamically changing legal reality. Application of the study: The article refers to the legal aspects related to the institution of fiscal enforcement in the Second Polish Republic. The article's content may be helpful for historians and lawyers dealing with aspects of fiscal enforcement in the Second Polish Republic. Originality/Novelty of the study: The article concerns the legal aspects of fiscal enforcement in the interwar period in Poland. The study indicates the legal basis for enforcement, the public authorities responsible for it, and its types. It should be recognized that fiscal enforcement significantly evolved in the early years of the independent Polish state. The legal regulations governing execution until the first half of the Second Polish Republic were modelled on those from the period of partitions, and numerous amendments were introduced only later.
