Electric motor internal fan system CFD validation 电机内部风扇系统CFD验证

This work presents the development of a CFD methodology to evaluate the distribution of the airflow around the end winding of an asynchronous motor. This process was assisted by an experimental device that was designed and developed in order to consider a number of geometric simplifications aiming at the validation of the CFD model. The problems of numerical convergence in both steady-state and transient regimes are discussed in this work.

This paper investigates a novel approach for rotor fault diagnosis in asynchronous machines. Empirical mode decomposition (EMD) is applied to the measured start-up current. More specifically, the space vector of the stator start-up current is decomposed into complex intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) in order to analyze the asynchronous machine's transient. It is shown that in the case of rotor fault a particular IMF arises which characterizes the presence of the fault. The instantaneous frequency and the amplitude of the IMF can be used for an efficient fault diagnosis.

Modeling of IM with stator winding inter-turn fault validated by FEM 通过有限元方法验证了含定子绕组匝间故障的IM模型

In this paper a simple dynamic model for induction machines (IM) with inter-turn winding fault is established. Finite element method is used for parameter identification of the machine under fault condition. The proposed dynamic model is validated by time stepping finite element (FE) analysis. The dynamic model results exhibit the same trend as predicted by FE analysis for different fault insulation resistances. This model is well adapted for IM health monitoring and inter-turn fault diagnosis.

An integrated design of a machine with soft magnetic mouldable composite 软磁可塑复合材料整机设计

This paper focuses on the design and the evaluation of a single-phase claw-pole machine that is integrated into a fan drive. The inner stator of the machine is manufactured by using a rotational moulding technology, which allows a high integrability when using plastic matrix Soft Magnetic Mouldable Composite - SM2C. The goal of the design is to develop a fan integrated drive where the major advantage is the inexpensive production method. The development of a control strategy and the respective control circuitry is part of the design process.

Simulation of relation between electrode thickness and spring characteristic of a new stacked-type electrostatic actuator 一种新型叠合式静电作动器电极厚度与弹簧特性的关系仿真

In this paper, the simulation result concerning the relation between the electrode thickness and the spring characteristic of a new stacked-type electrostatic actuator has been described. This actuator is constructed by alternately folding two insulated thin metal films, and the electrode parts are thickened to make easily not to expand when the load is applied to this actuator. In a numerical simulation, three-dimensional nonlinear structural analysis including the contact problem has been studied using the finite element method. In the result, it has been understood that the expansion of the actuator is in inverse proportion to about the second power of the electrode thickness. However, when the lengths of the hinge parts are long, the actuator becomes to expand easily even if the electrode parts are thick.

This paper refers to the teaching of electromagnetic structure of induction machine, of steady state characteristics and of dynamic and transient machine behaviors based on finite element models and analysis of simulation results. Magnetoharmonic and transient models are used to solve field-circuit, respectively field-circuit-rotating motion problems.

Clawpole Transverse Flux Machines with amorphous stator cores 具有无定形定子铁芯的爪杆横向磁通机

The use of an hybrid stator, made of a combination of Fe-Si laminations and soft magnetic materials (SMC), has been recently proposed to reduce the iron losses occurring in a clawpole transverse flux machine (CTFM). In this paper, we show that a very low-loss magnetic material, the amorphous material, can be easily used as a substitution to the Fe-Si laminations to reduce the losses further. The stator iron losses in a CTFM with amorphous cores are compared to those occurring in a CTFM with Fe-Si cores by experimental tests and finite element simulations. It is found that the use of amorphous cores could increase the machine efficiency and speed range.

This paper deals with the investigation of a specific transient technique suitable for electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis in a DFIG-based wind turbine. The investigated technique is a combination of the discrete wavelet transform, statistics and the energy. Experimental investigations carried out on a 1.1-kW induction generator based test bench show that the proposed technique can unambiguously diagnose faults under transient conditions.

Sensitivity analysis of several geometrical parameters on linear switched reluctance motor performance 几个几何参数对线性开关磁阻电机性能的敏感性分析

This paper studies the sensitivity of several geometrical parameters on the performance of a linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM). The analysis is made in two dimensions using the finite element method. The study shows the strong influence of the width of the stator pole (bp) and the width of the moving pole or translator pole (bs) on inductance and force profiles. The results of this study could be a useful tool for optimizing the geometry of a LSRM.

Study on reduction of steady-state impedance in magnetic shielding type superconducting fault current limiter 磁屏蔽型超导故障限流器稳态阻抗降低研究

A magnetic shielding type superconducting fault current limiter (MSFCL) has undesirable leakage impedance and thus the voltage drop relating to the leakage impedance occurs in the steady-state operation (the standby condition of a fault). Therefore, this paper proposes a divided MSFCL model to reduce the value of the leakage impedance in the steady-state operation. The four-divided model of MSFCL was actually constructed. Then experiments were carried out to demonstrate the advantage of the divided model. Moreover, the divided model was compared with a non-divided model with the same turns of the coils. We confirmed the advantage of the divided model through these experiments.
