Dynamic behavior of actuator working on principle of thermoelasticity 基于热弹性原理的作动器动态特性

Actuators working on the principle of thermoelasticity produce huge forces at very small shifts and may be used as prospective fixing elements in various industrial applications. The paper deals with the mathematical and computer modeling of their dynamic characteristics providing information about the time evolution of various important quantities (temperature rise, displacements, etc.). As the task represents a nonstationary and nonlinear multiply coupled contact problem, its solution is carried out under certain simplifications. The methodology proposed for its solution is illustrated by a typical example whose results are discussed.

In a cooperation between the dutch TNO and Siemens AG a hybrid power train for motor vehicles is analysed, constructed and put on a test bed. The power split solution comprises two coupled concentric electrical machines, for which various numerical calculations are performed.

Cascaded doubly fed induction machine system modelling based on Dynamic Reluctance Mesh modelling method 基于动态磁阻网格建模方法的级联双馈感应电机系统建模

Cascaded doubly fed induction generator system is an important application in wind energy industry, and intrigue lots of research interests in recent years. Dynamic reluctance mesh modelling technique can model electrical machines with sufficient practical details thus it is an excellent and effective simulation tool for modelling such systems. This paper models the cascaded doubly fed induction machine system and investigated their frequency relationships as well as power flow conditions under sub synchronous and super synchronous shaft speed. Harmonics due to slotting and saturation are also analysed by DRM tool and it provides potentials for simulating machine systems with power electronics and complicated control schemes.

Investigating the dependency of an induction machine's main inductance on the supply frequency 研究感应电机主电感与电源频率的关系

According to several papers, an induction machine's main flux path's saturation state is not only conditioned by the magnetizing current. In the paper at hand the dependency of the magnetization curve on the supply frequency is investigated. Measurements show that the flux linkage decreases with rising supply frequency. This should be considered when incorporating control algorithms based on the main inductance. The magnetization curves calculated from the data retrieved are presented and compared to FEM calculations for validation of the effect under investigation.

Separation of saliency components for speed sensorless detection of flux and rotor position of induction machines 感应电机磁链和转子位置无速度传感器检测中显著性元件的分离

Sensorless field oriented control schemes of induction machines have been of high interest in recent years since the mechanical sensor considerably increases the cost of a drive and decreases its reliability. Methods which do not fail at zero fundamental frequency have to rely on non-fundamental effects of the motor. In the non fundamental wave model based mechanical sensorless control of AC machines the flux/rotor position can be estimated by evaluating the current response to voltage pulses. This current slope is modulated by all spatial saliencies in the machine. Sources of these saliencies can be various, for instance the saturation of the machine by the main flux, the slotting, or anisotropy, as well as inter-modulation effects. In this paper the separation of the saturation signal, the slotting signal, and the inter-modulation signal components in squirrel cage induction machines operating at low and zero frequency using artificial neural networks (ANN) has been experimentally implemented and measurement results are given to show the advantages of the application of the proposed technique at low and zero speed sensorless control even at high load levels.

On line simulation models of electric drives 电传动在线仿真模型

The paper presents an online simulation model of a dc drive supplied by a single phase full wave thyristor controlled rectifier and by a single phase cycloconverter. The model was created in Matlab to shorten the simulation running time. It is intended for real-time and rapid prototyping of dc power electronics and electrical drives. The first simulated hardware consists of a two quadrant dc controlled rectifier while the second consists of a four quadrant operation. The online simulation was compared to a conventional simulation in Simulink using Simpowersystem Blockset.

In this work, the mathematical dynamical model of a PEMFC stack has been developed and implemented in Matlab environment. Lots of simulations have been executed in two different load conditions. Firstly with a resistive load and finally with a synchronous electrical power drive in automotive load conditions. The innovation in this field consists in the integration in PEMFC stack mathematical dynamic model of a synchronous electrical power drive one for automotive purposes. As regards the simulations with a synchronous electrical power drive, the complete mathematical model allows to evaluate the PEMFC stack performances and electrochemical efficiency. This represents a useful design tool.

In the late 1980s severe explosions of motors used on off shore oil platforms forced manufacturers of explosion protected electrical machines to make their products safer, although they were still built according to the latest standards. They started investigations that identified several features of design and operation of machines with negative influence on the explosion risk. The implementation of risk analysis tables in product standards enabled manufacturers to recognize an explosion risk in advance as well as to define measures to minimize it. Additionally, rotor and stator type tests were required to prove that machines are not even able to ignite an explosive gas atmosphere inside of them. After performing these tests successfully manufacturers are sure that explosion protected machines provide a very high security level and that normal partial discharges on stator winding insulation systems do not cause an ignition of explosive gas atmospheres. Moreover, plant operators may now profit from the manufacturers knowledge to secure the safe operation of motors in hazardous areas due to gas.

Thermal and lifetime behavior of innovative insulation systems for rotating machines 用于旋转机器的创新绝缘系统的热和寿命行为

The innovative insulating tape for rotating machines shows advantages concerning the electrical and mechanical strength as well as its thickness and thermal conductivity. In this paper the new developed mica tapes should be tested with respect to the thermal behaviour of the end corona protection and voltage endurance of various types of used mica paper. For this reason a test series of different defined insulation systems was carried out to test the temperature rise and a long time test with increased voltage stress was applied. The results were evaluated within a statistical analysis and lifetime charts.

Improvement of load frequency control with fuzzy gain scheduled superconducting magnetic energy storage unit 利用预定超导磁能储存装置的模糊增益改进负载频率控制

With the increase in size and capacity of electric power systems and the growth of widespread interconnections, the problem of power oscillations due to the reduced system damping has become increasingly serious. Since a superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) unit with a self-commutated converter is capable of controlling both the active and reactive powers simultaneously and quickly, increasing attention has been focused recently on power system stabilization by SMES control. This paper proposes a SMES with the fuzzy gain scheduled supplementary controller associated with the automatic generation control (AGC) for the improvement of load frequency control (LFC). It is shown that SMES with the gain scheduled supplementary controller can perform a more effective primary frequency control for multi area power system. Simulation studies based on MATLAB are presented on a two-area power system after carrying out the necessary modeling exercise.
