The chemical and pharmaceutical industries have quality as a prerequisite for the smooth running of their processes. Quality monitoring in this type of industrial activity is carried out using attribute control charts, among others. The aim of this article is to show a case study carried out in a company in the south of the state of Rio de Janeiro which used this type of control chart, more specifically the NP control chart, to monitor an antibiotic manufacturing process. The results showed the need for some adjustments and management actions will be taken to improve the process.

Este artigo teve como objetivo descrever características de algumas redes de Economia Solidária no Brasil. Sendo apresentados aspectos referentes a motivação para sua constituição; integrantes que as compõem; produtos comercializados; formas de comercialização e produção. A pesquisa consiste em uma revisão bibliográfica, com uma abordagem qualitativa. A coleta dos artigos foi realizada durante o mês de janeiro de 2021 e março de 2021 na plataforma https://scholar.google.com.br. Os resultados da pesquisa evidenciam que as Redes analisadas são constituídas a partir da mobilização de grupos sociais, organizações não governamentais e em alguns casos, consumidores com atividades subsidiadas na agricultura familiar e na agroecologia. Os produtos são comercializados em sua maioria no comércio local, por meio de feiras, no entanto, destaca-se também uma mobilização de venda para o comercio internacional, assim como também o mercado institucional por meio do Programa Nacional de Alimentação (PNAE). Diante dos elementos apresentados, conclui-se que as Redes atuam fortemente na consolidação da Economia Solidária, subsidiando a produção e comercialização dos produtos.

Agricultural export enterprises play an important role in the economy, contributing significantly to economic development and growth. Optimizing their operations can support the building of a sustainable economy. In this study, Stata software was used to select an appropriate regression model to evaluate the impact of factors on the profitability of agricultural export enterprises in Vietnam in the period from 2013 - 2022. Research results have shown that debt ratio, asset structure, and operating time of the business all have a significant impact on the return on assets and equity. Other factors have only a strong impact on one of these two factors or are not statistically significant in explaining the impact on profitability. This result emphasizes the importance of agricultural export enterprises reviewing their capital structure and asset structure and carefully evaluating the impact of these factors in the process of building business strategies to optimize profitability.

With the competition that exists between the timber sector in Brazil, companies in this sector need to adapt to the market, where many of the causes that hinder companies are in the way in which internal activities are carried out. Within this issue, a process that generates problems within a company is the lack of Production Planning, Programming and Control (PPCP). The lack of PPCP causes delays in production and products are made without quality, thus damaging the company's name. Using quality tools and the PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act), phenomenon and process analyzes were carried out. As a result, it was found that the lack of a PPCP was causing delays and losses for the company. In order to act on this problem, data on the processes and their causes were collected. Based on the data collected, PPCP software was created using the Airtable platform, which enabled solutions to problems involving delays in order delivery. Finally, the work achieved its objectives, meeting the company's needs and continuing with future improvements.

Design thinking and the customer journey play a fundamental role in improving service in sports centers. By adopting user-centered approaches, sports facilities can better understand patrons' needs, wants and experiences. Design thinking allows managers of these centers to identify opportunities for innovation, develop creative solutions to improve facilities and services, and test these ideas in collaboration with users. By mapping the customer journey, from the first interaction to the post-experience, it is possible to identify critical touchpoints and areas for possible improvements. This not only creates more attractive and functional sporting environments, but also helps build stronger customer relationships, promoting loyalty and satisfaction, which are critical to the long-term success of these establishments. In this article, the authors developed an understanding of the experience that customers of a sports complex are obtaining in relation to the service offered. To achieve this objective, they examined existing definitions and conceptualizations through a brief systematic review of the literature. They then used the design thinking approach and its customer journey tool, in which personas were determined for the sports complex. Next, they carried out the visual development of the customer journey using the value proposition canvas tool, thus obtaining a description of the personas, their journey, what is expected and what they receive from the service, the sentiment curve, as well as their opportunities and pain. Finally, the authors arrived at 3 personas, totaling 25 points of contact, which made it possible to develop actions with the aim of improving the customer experience in the case in question.

This study comprehensively explores the intricate factors influencing the management of fostering and developing professional competence among preschool teachers in the Southeastern Region of Vietnam. Examining subjective factors (self-study, leadership roles, decentralization, and coordination) reveals individual perspectives driving effective teacher development. This study has 104 administrators. To ensure a representative sample, a random sampling method was employed for participant selection. The analysis underscores the significance of continuous self-improvement (M = 4.15, SD = 0.99), the pivotal role of school leadership (M = 3.40, SD = 0.79), and collaborative efforts (M= 3.99, SD = 0.87) in advancing professional growth. Simultaneously, the investigation of objective factors (socio-economic conditions, educational renovation, educational science, and institutional diversity) highlights broader systemic influences. The analysis underscores the importance of contextual considerations (M = 2.96, SD = 0.97), evidence-based practices (M = 4.12, SD = 0.82), and varied educational settings (M = 3.12, SD = 0.71) in shaping successful strategies for professional development. The synthesis of these results emphasizes the dynamic interplay between individual viewpoints and systemic forces in the realm of teacher training administration. This research not only enriches our understanding of the nuanced factors influencing professional competence development but also offers actionable insights for informed decision-making within the domain of early childhood education. Essa pesquisa tem como objetivo geral avaliar o processo de implementação da componente curricular Libras para a modalidade de educação presencial, no âmbito da Uneb no período da pandemia, através da mediação tecnológica sob gestão da Unead. Esse estudo justifica-se em função de ser este um relato de experiência em período anterior e posterior ao marco histórico do século XXI - a pandemia - podendo ser utilizado como um relato de experiência que pode servir de exemplo para outras IPES em âmbito nacional. Além disso, o resultado dessa experiência pode servir para a própria Uneb ofertar outras componentes que sejam comuns a dois ou mais cursos. O resultado mostra que cerca de 80% dos estudantes que participam da componente de oferta interdepartamental possuem aprovação.

The COVID-19 pandemic, declared in March 2020, has profound repercussions on global labor markets. While it has affected individuals across the board, its consequences have not been gender-neutral. This paper provides a feminist perspective on the pandemic's effects on labor, with a focus on how women workers have been disproportionately impacted. The COVID-19 pandemic has starkly illuminated pre-existing gender inequalities within labor markets and labor law systems worldwide. This research presents a feminist analysis of the pandemic's impact on labor, examining both legal and theoretical dimensions. It seeks to elucidate the unique challenges faced by women workers during the pandemic and to propose ways in which labor laws can evolve to address these inequalities. In the present study, initially, the author has attempted to identify the philosophical foundation of the existing relation between labour law and feminism. The author here investigates whether is there any link in the philosophical studies to resolve the problems posed by the novel pandemic. Secondly, in order to exhibit the worsened position of females gender dimension of unpaid work is explained. Then, the author sketches the laws and courts pronouncements to emancipate the women labour force aroused due to the pandemic. Lastly, the author endeavours to put forth certain recommendations to resolve the issues of women labour.

In the current scenario, Brazil is ranked as the 5th largest textile producer in the world, behind only China, India, the United States and Pakistan. This factor is of great importance in relation to the effective number of jobs provided by the sector around its manufacturing hubs. On the other hand, the high production rate that companies are exhibiting ends up using a large amount of the country's natural resources. In the case of clothing industries, their waste can cause significant environmental impacts, however, through the use of Environmental Management is possible to reduce environmental degradation and pollution. In this way, the present study made use of the application of the Environmental Management System (EMS) linked to the Cleaner Production methodology to resolve environmental problems in a clothing factory located in the northwest of the state of Paraná. After the implementation of the EMS, important environmental and social gains were noted, such as the disposal of wastepaper, cardboard, plastic, and paint cans used in screen printing for an Association of collectors in the city and the use of fabric scraps in making products for pet shops, waste destined for a group of women artisans also in the city. The study also promoted the reduction of waste from larger clothing scraps, by using them to make by-products that could be sold at popular prices. Thus, the effectiveness of implementing the EMS for the company can be seen, making it comply with its environmental policy and adding social gains to it.

The study investigates risk management strategies within the global business environment, focusing on the analysis of intricate dependencies and the efficacy of corresponding measures. The significance of this research arises from the contemporary reality wherein the business environment contends with a multitude of influential factors capable of altering the organizational dynamics of the business realm. Consequently, enterprises and companies must cultivate preparedness for diverse factors that pose potential risks to their sustained viability. The article deliberates on risk management strategies within the global business environment, emphasizing the analysis of complex dependencies and the effectiveness of implemented measures. The significance of risk management in the current stage of development is delineated. The essence of risk management strategies is explicitly defined, and factors that possess the potential to adversely impact the operational dynamics of enterprises are systematically examined. The paper outlines various methods of risk management planning, including acceptance, transfer, avoidance, and reduction. The specific application nuances of each method are expounded upon. Additionally, the interrelationship between risk management methods and strategies is delineated, providing clarity on their respective roles and contributions. The examination of risk management strategies encompasses the analysis of specific approaches, namely the one per cent strategy, stop-loss and take-profit order strategy, diversification and hedging, exit strategy, and research strategy. The study identifies the predominant domains wherein each strategy is frequently employed, elucidating their fundamental characteristics and discerning their impact on alterations within the company's operations. Furthermore, illustrative examples of these strategies are provided to enhance understanding. The summary of risk management strategy implementation in the enterprise's activities is presented, elucidating the principal aspects, stages, and procedural framework. The determination of the impact of implementation on the company's operations and its capacity to mitigate risks is systematically addressed.
