Development of an Integrated Complex of Knowledge Base and Tools of Expert Systems for Assessing Knowledge of Students in Mathematics within the Framework of a Hybrid Intelligent Learning Environment 在混合智能学习环境的框架内开发用于评估学生数学知识的知识库和专家系统工具的集成综合体

The paper is devoted to the development of instrumental and methodological support for the assessment of students' knowledge in mathematics in the framework of a hybrid intellectual learning environment. According to the structural scheme of the model of intellectual assessment of knowledge and creative potential of students in mathematics, the structure of the corresponding knowledge base is formalized. Knowledge base within the framework of data mining methods to create a module for monitoring and evaluating knowledge in mathematics has been developed. To model the educational process the authors propose methods for solving clustering, dimensionality reduction, and classification problems based on machine learning and artificial neural networks. The basics for the development of integrated knowledge base complexes and artificial intelligence tools for the educational process are presented. The obtained results are aimed at creating methods which ensure the processes of operational training, control and evaluation of knowledge.

Exploring Software Security Test Generation Techniques: Challenges and Opportunities 探索软件安全测试生成技术:挑战与机遇

Ensuring the security of the software has raised concerns from the research community which triggered numerous approaches that tend to eliminate it. The process of ensuring the security of software includes the introduction of processes in the Software Development Life Cycle where one of them is testing after the software is developed. Manually testing software for security is a labor-intensive task. Therefore, it is required to automate the process of testing by generating test cases by automated techniques. In this paper, we review various software security test case generation approaches and techniques. We try to explore and classify the most eminent techniques for test case generation. The techniques are summarized and presented briefly to covers all researches work that has been done in the targeted classification. Moreover, this paper aims to depict the sound of security in the current state of the art of test case generation. The findings are summarized and discussed where the opportunities and challenges are revealed narratively. Although the paper intends to provide a comprehensive view of the research in test case generation, there was a noticeable lack in the test case generation from the security perspectives

Information Theory-based Approaches to Detect DDoS Attacks on Software-defined Networking Controller a Review 基于信息论的软件定义网络控制器DDoS攻击检测方法综述

The number of network users and devices has exponentially increased in the last few decades, giving rise to sophisticated security threats while processing users’ and devices’ network data. Software-Defined Networking (SDN) introduces many new features, but none is more revolutionary than separating the control plane from the data plane. The separation helps DDoS attack detection mechanisms by introducing novel features and functionalities. Since the controller is the most critical part of the SDN network, its ability to control and monitor network traffic flow behavior ensures the network functions properly and smoothly. However, the controller’s importance to the SDN network makes it an attractive target for attackers. Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack is one of the major threats to network security. This paper presents a comprehensive review of information theory-based approaches to detect low-rate and high-rate DDoS attacks on SDN controllers. Additionally, this paper provides a qualitative comparison between this work and the existing reviews on DDoS attack detection approaches using various metrics to highlight this work’s uniqueness. Moreover, this paper provides in-depth discussion and insight into the existing DDoS attack detection approaches to point out their weaknesses that open the avenue for future research directions. Meanwhile, the finding of this paper can be used by other researchers to propose a new or enhanced approach to protect SDN controllers from the threats of DDoS attacks by accurately detecting both low-rate and high-rate DDoS attacks.

The Role of Organizational Development in Achieving the Competitive Advantage of University of Hail as one of the requirements of The vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030 组织发展在实现冰雹大学竞争优势中的作用是沙特阿拉伯王国2030年愿景的要求之一

The current study aimed to identify the role of organizational development (curricula - strategies) in achieving the competitive advantage of the University of Hail as one of the requirements of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and to achieve this goal the study used the descriptive method. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: Hail University has a high degree in applying the curricula of organizational development practices, and a medium degree in applying organizational development strategies. It also achieved a high degree in its ability to achieve a competitive advantage. A positive correlation with statistical significance at the level of (0.01) was found between the application of curricula and strategies for organizational development at the University of Hail and its ability to achieve competitive advantage as one of the requirements of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 as seen by the academic leaders. The strategy of values and re-education was the one that most contributed to predicting the amount of impact on the ability to achieve the competitive advantage of the University of Hail as one of the requirements of the Kingdom's 2030 vision, followed by the strategy of strength - oppression and finally the career approach, and at the end of the study it was recommended that for the success of the competitive advantage at the University of Hail, more reliance should be placed on the career approach in organizational development processes by developing the philosophy, mission, goals and strategies of the organization in response to changes in the surrounding environment.

Random Walks in Hypergraph Hypergraph中的随机漫游

Random walks on graphs have been extensively used for a variety of graph-based problems such as ranking vertices, predicting links, recommendations, and clustering. However, many complex problems mandate a high-order graph representation to accurately capture the relationship structure inherent in them. Hypergraphs are particularly useful for such models due to the density of information stored in their structure. In this paper, we propose a novel extension to defining random walks on hypergraphs. Our proposed approach combines the weights of destination vertices and hyperedges in a probabilistic manner to accurately capture transition probabilities. We study and analyze our generalized form of random walks suitable for the structure of hypergraphs. We show the effectiveness of our model by conducting a text ranking experiment on a real world data set with a 9% to 33% improvement in precision and a range of 7% to 50% improvement in Bpref over other random walk approaches.

Utilizing the Blackboard Learning Management System at the University of Ha’il from the Perspective of Faculty Members using Internet Of Things (IOT) 从物联网教师的角度看哈伊勒大学Blackboard学习管理系统的应用

The study aims to investigate the perceptions of faculty members in the preparatory year at the University of Ha’il concerning the use of the Blackboard learning management system, and to identify the impact of the study variables (gender, discipline, teaching language, and number of training courses) on the responses of the study sample members. A descriptive methodology has been used, as the study was applied to a sample of (123) faculty members, and to collect information, a questionnaire of (32) items was developed. The results of the study showed that the level of using the Blackboard at the University of Ha’il by faculty members was high. It indicated that there were no statistically significant differences due to gender. Moreover, the results revealed that there were no statistically significant differences (p=0.218) in the use of Blackboard based on the number of training courses, and that there were no statistically significant differences (p=0.390) in the use of Blackboard based on academic ranking.

Interaction between Feedback Types of Interactive Videos Used in Flipped Classroom and Learning Styles of Talented Students in Developing Personal Knowledge Management Skills and Achievement 翻转课堂中使用的互动视频反馈类型与天才学生学习风格在发展个人知识管理技能和成就中的交互作用

This study aims at exploring Interactive Videos (IV) used in Flipped Classroom (FC) and their feedback types and Learning Styles (LS) of Talented Students (TS) in developing Personal Knowledge Management Skills (PKMS) and achievement. The study was conducted on 51 STS from Hail Gifted Care Center in KSA, where they divided into four experimental groups depending on their LS and IV’s feedback. The study occurred during the first term of the academic year 2019–2020. In the FC based on IV, no statistical differences between the TF and AF were present in interactive videos on the achievement or PKMS for talented students. Also, no statistical differences between the LS (convergent–distant) in the total PKMS and achievement for STS were present when applying interactive videos–based flipped classrooms, same for statistical interaction effects between the TF–AF, save for some interaction effects in some knowledge management skills (conveying, analysis, organizing). Future research could address the diminishing motivation incurred with the interactive videos-based flipped classrooms. Specifically, how to design IV–based FCs with feedback types that encourage students to develop KPMS

Also, no statistical differences between the LS (convergent–distant) in the total PKMS and achievement for STS were present when applying interactive videos–based flipped classrooms, same for statistical interaction effects between the TF–AF, save for some interaction effects in some knowledge management skills (conveying, analysis, organizing). Future research could address the diminishing motivation incurred with the interactive videos-based flipped classrooms. Automation of Monitoring Students' Knowledge and Independent Work Using Mathcad 利用Mathcad实现学生知识监控与自主作业的自动化

In the challenging Covid-19, and also online education and web-learning expansion conditions, independent and distance forms of student work become especially relevant. As a consequence, the role played by such important parts of the educational process as control and monitoring the knowledge acquisition by students, and also their skills and abilities is growing. In this connection, the need to provide the educational process with a large number of individual variants of tasks, both training tasks and control tests, has increased. In addition, in this case a teacher faces the problem on performing such timeconsuming work as quick checking and evaluating a large number of tasks completed by students, and also monitoring their knowledge and skills. To solve these problems, the paper offers an automated method for creating and checking tasks and tests using Mathcad software. Implementation of this method is shown by an example of topics studied in the courses "Econometrics" and "Mathematical Statistics". The author has a patent issued by the Federal Service for Intellectual Property of the Russian Federation for the developed algorithm.

An Investigation Into Postgraduate Students’ Knowledge of and Attitude Towards Using E-learning Platform 研究生使用电子学习平台的知识态度调查

The study aimed to identify the relationship between students' knowledge and their attitudes towards using the e-learning platform. As well as to identify the possibility of predicting students' trend towards using the e-learning platform based on their knowledge of using it, their study status (campus/ distance learning), their gender, and their first language. The questionnaires were prepared to measure two main structures, students' knowledge of using the e-learning platform and their attitude towards it. The study sample included students attending a master's and doctoral as part of the British university course process. The sample consisted of 48 students (total students in this course), 29 students on campus (60%), and 19 students in distance learning (40%). The results revealed no correlation between students' knowledge and their attitudes towards using the learning platform. The existence of a positive trend towards the use of the e-learning platform among students registered through the e-learning platform more than the students registered on the university campus, the absence of statistically significant differences attributed to the effect of gender, based on their first language, in terms of predicting students' knowledge and their tendency towards using E-learning platform based on variables (status, gender and first language). It was found that the students' condition is an indicator of the situation that may indicate further study to investigate new factors that may affect students' knowledge and their attitude towards using the e-learning platform.

An Interactive Adaptable Learning Interfacefor E-Learning Sessions 电子学习会话的交互式适应性学习界面

Introduction of augmented reality into the E-learning systems brings a new era in personal remote education. While E-learning brings a lot of benefits for both instructor and student it also has various difficulties, such as absence of vital personal interaction that can influence on student motivation and inspiration. To decrease this gap we have started the development of an Interactive Adaptable Learning Interface (IALI) that with the help of speech synthesizers, emotions and voice recognition systems tries to adapt the ongoing E-learning session to the student behavior, simulating the way instructor adapt the lesson to the student reactions. As the IALI is initially planned for Ukrainian language students, we have made a deep analysis of nowadays applicable solutions for Ukrainian speech synthesis and recognition. In this paper we present the conducted analysis and application of the most widely applied speech synthesizers, voice and emotions recognition systems that were used to develop first version of IALI.
