Aim: To carry out the comparative analysis of the indicators of working capacity (physical and mental) of law enforcement officers in the conditions of educational process and service activities. Materials and Methods: The research of physical working capacity was carried out using the Harvard step test and mental working capacity was assessed by means of the correction test. The cadets (n=72) who studied at the higher educational institution for 3 years (2017-2021) and served in the practical police units after the training were involved in the testing. The testing was carried out in 3 stages: 1st – the beginning of the first training year (2017); 2nd – the end of the third training year (2020); 3rd – after 1 year of service (2021). Results: Significant (p 0.05) deterioration after 1 year of their service (by 1.9 % and 5.4 % respectively) was established. Conclusions: It was found that the organization of the educational process in higher educational institutions is quite effective in improving both physical and mental working capacity of future law enforcement officers. However, the decrease of their working capacity after 1 year of service indicates the complexity and extremity of service activities in practical units.

Aim: To study the effectiveness of preventive measures in the inactive course of chronic parenchymal mumps in remission. Materials and Methods: In the dynamics of precautionary measures, aimed at preventing of exacerbation of chronic processes in the parotid glands, were examined 29 children aged from 2 months to 16 years with inactive mumps in remission and 10 control persons aged from 7 to 15 years. Results: According to the assessment of the cellular composition of parotid secretion before anti-relapse measures in 9 patients out of 19, it was possible to detect the presence of latent chronic inflammation in symmetrical glands in the absence of classical clinical symptoms and clear secretion. After the completion of the treatment-and-prophylactic complex, the number of inflammatory cells and the degree of its contamination with microorganisms decreased significantly. Conclusions: The study of the composition of parotid secretion with taking into account of the results of ultrasound examination and sialography in the dynamic monitoring of chronic parenchymal mumps indicate its high diagnostic informativeness and allows a rational approach to planning preventive measures. The methodological approach, which was developed and tested by us and which was used in the active course of mumps, showed its high efficiency and inactive form of the disease, for the first year of observation the number of exacerbations decreased by 10 times, and for 5 years term- by 16 times, which allowed to prolong the remission period and improve the rheological properties of parotid secretion.

The work is an attempt to highlight the problem related to too weak or even insufficient communication in a team integrating healthcare professionals and drawing attention to this very important aspect of caring for the patient without competing for the grandmaster’s laurel. The definition of the term Interdisciplinary Team in the medical context is very simple. It is a group of people, specialists in various fields of medicine, dealing with solving a specific problem using the resources at the disposal of each member of such a Team. Polish realities in many cases are far from this concept, which, unfortunately, may result in worse therapy outcomes. Although each of the members of this team may think that his contribution is the most important, it is only the sum of all activities that translates into success, the effect of which is regaining the health lost by the patient, and this success is achieved by not one person but a multi-person team. Currently, it is not possible to provide a patient with only one specialist with the full range of medical services guaranteeing success. Treatment is a complex process involving diagnosticians (imaging diagnostics, laboratory diagnostics), a doctor, physiotherapist, psychologist, dietitian, nurse and many other specialists without whom it is difficult to imagine any treatment activities. The group should be led by a leader, but information on the patient’s health should be available to each member of the therapeutic team, and decisions should be made on the basis of joint arrangements, so that none of the team members “pulls in their way” but contributes to mutual success, what a healthy patient is. The work raises problems such as the lack of reliability of information, points to the unfavourable phenomenon of “generalization” of disease entities and the frequent dissonance in the selection of appropriate therapeutic measures. The article indicates only a few situations that cause inconsistencies in the patient’s rehabilitation process. The rights and scope of the work of a physiotherapist on the basis of current legal documents were emphasized, the possibilities of extending the qualifications of physiotherapists were highlighted and the opportunities that would be granted to physiotherapists after obtaining additional qualifications were emphasized as well.

Aim: To analyse the state of medical rehabilitation services for musculoskeletal disorders under contracts of the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU) at the regional level and identify possible problems in terms of health care reform. Materials and Methods: Normative documents regulating the provision of rehabilitation care in the health care system of Ukraine, and published by the NHSU information on concluded agreements on medical care under the Medical Guarantees Program were used as materials of the study. The research embraced methods of system analysis, structural-logical analysis, medical-statistical, graphic and bibliosemantic methods. Conclusions: The analysis of NHSU contracts in 2021 revealed that funding for packages of medical rehabilitation services for musculoskeletal disorders involves the provision of services in 129,170 cases, which is only 0.8% of the 2019 need. It was established that in Transcarpathian region in 2021 the amount of contracting for medical rehabilitation for musculoskeletal disorders was 45.4% of the funds for all rehabilitation packages in the region. With the increase in the total funding of signed contracts in the region, the number of projected cases of rehabilitation care in this area decreased by 9.9%. The provision of medical rehabilitation services for musculoskeletal disorders in Ukraine is insufficient and does not cover the potential needs of the population. At the regional level, there is a decrease in the number of planned cases of such services, but an increase in the number of health care facilities that provide them.

Aim: The purpose of the study was to prove the effectiveness of dance and movement therapy in the program of physical rehabilitation of teenagers having cerebral palsy and level III-IV of motor development. Materials and Methods: The following research methods were used during the study: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological sources as to the research topic, pedagogical methods (pedagogical observation), clinical research methods: gross motor functions classification system (GMFCS), manual ability classification system (MACS), which is classification system of child’s ability to manipulate objects in everyday activities, muscle tone assessment scale – a modified Ashworth scale, synthesis of examination cards and dynamics of basic motor functions development of teenagers with cerebral palsy, and survey. Results: Research and implementation of dance and movement therapy method was taking place on the basis of the Rivne Training and Rehabilitation Center “Special Child” for two years. The study involved 5 children aged 12-14 years: four girls and one boy. The children studied according to auxiliary educational program of 4-6 years of study. All of the children were diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, having level III-IV of motor development according to gross motor functions classification system (GMFCS), having level IV (the child performs a limited number of exercises in adaptive conditions) according to manual ability classification system (MACS). The basis for the formation of the goal of our rehabilitation program was the biopsychosocial model of rehabilitation, which is the basis of the International Classification of Functioning. The program of physical rehabilitation involved dance and movement therapy and provided two vectors: physical and social ones. Conclusions: The use of dance and movement therapy in the rehabilitation program contributed to the solution of the main tasks that ensured the formation of a harmonious, positive personality of teenagers with disabilities of level III-IV according to their motor development. The participation of the dance group in the cultural events of the school and the town contributed to the socialization of children with disabilities and the readiness of society to accept such persons as its important and necessary part. Parents were ready to cooperate as partners to achieve a positive result. Dance and movement therapy has improved the effectiveness of the physical therapy program as to all of the components of the International Classification of Functioning. This approach has created favorable conditions for a significant life quality improvement for both children and members of their families.

Materials and Methods: The following research methods were used during the study: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological sources as to the research topic, pedagogical methods (pedagogical observation), clinical research methods: gross motor functions classification system (GMFCS), manual ability classification system (MACS), which is classification system of child’s ability to manipulate objects in everyday activities, muscle tone assessment scale – a modified Ashworth scale, synthesis of examination cards and dynamics of basic motor functions development of teenagers with cerebral palsy, and survey. Results: Research and implementation of dance and movement therapy method was taking place on the basis of the Rivne Training and Rehabilitation Center “Special Child” for two years. The study involved 5 children aged 12-14 years: four girls and one boy. The children studied according to auxiliary educational program of 4-6 years of study. All of the children were diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, having level III-IV of motor development according to gross motor functions classification system (GMFCS), having level IV (the child performs a limited number of exercises in adaptive conditions) according to manual ability classification system (MACS). The basis for the formation of the goal of our rehabilitation program was the biopsychosocial model of rehabilitation, which is the basis of the International Classification of Functioning. The program of physical rehabilitation involved dance and movement therapy and provided two vectors: physical and social ones. Conclusions: The use of dance and movement therapy in the rehabilitation program contributed to the solution of the main tasks that ensured the formation of a harmonious, positive personality of teenagers with disabilities of level III-IV according to their motor development. The participation of the dance group in the cultural events of the school and the town contributed to the socialization of children with disabilities and the readiness of society to accept such persons as its important and necessary part. Parents were ready to cooperate as partners to achieve a positive result. Dance and movement therapy has improved the effectiveness of the physical therapy program as to all of the components of the International Classification of Functioning. This approach has created favorable conditions for a significant life quality improvement for both children and members of their families.","PeriodicalId":42213,"journal":{"name":"Acta Balneologica","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69728600","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Aim: To analyze the dynamics of oncogynecological morbidity level in Sumy region and to identify barriers for prevention and early diagnosis of oncogynecological diseases in women. Materials and Methods: study structure included: desk study (collection and analysis of statistical data), medical and sociological research on definition of barriers for prevention and early detection of oncogynecological diseases on the basis of primary medical level, which was conducted by questioning among women of Sumy region with an anonymous questionnaire with subsequent statistical processing of data using the license package of programs “PSQ” (processing of sociological questionnaires), a computer program of primary sociological information analysis. Results: in the process of analyzing the dynamics of morbidity, mortality, annual mortality and neglect of diseases of oncopathology, a decreasing in the rate of morbidity was found with simultaneous increasing of annual mortality and neglect, which highlights a decrease in carrying out preventive examinations in women. This, in turn, worsens the possibility of diagnosis of gynecological oncopathology at the early stages and their prevention. Conclusions: this requires development of a set of measures that would provide maximum coverage of regular gynecological preventive examinations in women. This mechanism can be effectively implemented through involvement the territorial communities in the process.

Aim: To increase the effectiveness of complex rehabilitation of servicemen with PTO by using high-intensity pulse magnetic therapy (НIP MT). Materials and Methods: The study design included 62 patients with PTO of stage I-III who were divided into: – control group (32 patients) received rehabilitation complex (RC) №1, which included: climatotherapy, kinesiotherapy, massage and balneotherapy; – main group (30 patients) received RC №2 with adding of HIP MT on the affected joints. The analysis of the effectiveness was performed using an algometric clinical examination, Lequesne’s algo-functional index (AFI), WOMAC, visual analog pain scale (VAS), HAQ questionnaire. Results: It was shown reliable benefits of RC № 2: the intensity of pain by VAS decreased by 3,1 times, according to the AFI gonarthrosis was assessed as mild, the value of the total WOMAC index was 20.2% better than in control group (p<0.05). The HAQ index showed a significant improvement in 41.3% (1.5 times better than in patients of control group). During long-term observation (3 months) after rehabilitation improvement was observed in 96.6% of patients of main group. Conclusions: The use of HIP MT in the complex rehabilitation of patients with PTO has significantly reduced the manifestations of pain, increase functioning of joints and restore combat readiness.
