The present study aims to design a virtual learning environment as a training resource on environmental education issues, considering that the purpose of environmental education is that individuals and communities understand the complexity of the environment, both natural and artificial. Therefore, the article presented is aimed at the community in general, so that through a virtual learning environment it is possible to access the information inherent to the subject and give a message of sensitization to visitors, a sense of environmental awareness, as well as having updated material available. Within the methodological mechanisms, the Weebly platform, YouTube, image design and other applications were used to strengthen the development of the web page. In the methodological field, the research was framed within the quantitative paradigm and a Google form was used for the diagnosis, which allowed determining through the survey technique aspects concerning the results of the summative evaluation of the participants of the study, in addition, interviews were applied to expert professionals, to obtain experiences regarding environmental education and their valuable contribution to enrich the knowledge of the students. The data were tabulated and presented for the generation of conclusions. At the end of the virtual teaching and learning environment, 96,8% of the students surveyed were satisfied with the results. It was concluded that the visitors obtained information and consolidated current knowledge of great importance, facilitating their downloading, visualization and comparison of the topics.

Recreation is known as an activity destined to take advantage of free time, nowadays it is an essential factor for the tourism field, since recreation is related to tourism and has an important role in the quality of life of society, in such a way that the satisfaction of tourists depends on the different recreational activities for recreation that are carried out during the visit. This research was conducted with the purpose of determining the importance of the implementation of recreational activities for the strengthening of the natural tourism resources of the Lloa parish. The methodology was of qualitative approach, of bibliographic and documentary review, through essential sources such as books, articles, among others that have as a basis the implementation of recreational activities that can be executed in the content analysis. The results obtained were developed based on the review of several authors. Finally, it is pointed out that the implementation of recreational activities can be a significant contribution to improve the use of natural resources.

There are probably few topics that entice multiple interpretations, myths and prejudices like that of drug consumption. It is enough to mention the word drug, it entails a series of debates and endless references. Currently drug consumption is considered a global problem of public health, for which it’s taken into account as one of the priority issues to be treated within government agendas. Given the aforementioned reality, the investigation was developed, whose objective was describing the influence of the Theater of the Oppressed as an intervention strategy, that prevents drug use in adolescents. For the execution of the investigation, the documentary design and the descriptive investigative level were used, through exhaustive searches in different scientific databases. The finding showed that the theater of the oppressed is a pedagogical instrument that seeks to improve communication relationships, allows the release of emotions and creates awareness. Conclusion, the design of the didactic proposal, raises activities based on the theatrical praxis and on the game, since they are the key of protection to prevent and raise awareness among adolescents about the use of drugs and this must be done from the educational context.

Introduction. Stress is a reality that affects students manifesting itself in moderate to profound levels. Objective. To decrease the levels of academic stress in students of a Higher Education Institution located in Quito-Ecuador by means of a recreational program. Method. The research method was descriptive, hypothetical-deductive and analytical-synthetic, through a quasi-experimental design. Results. The following frequencies of initial stress levels were obtained: mild (5) with 16,7%, moderate (18) with 60% and deep (7) with 23.3% and after the recreational activities the following post-test was obtained: mild (7) with 23.3% and moderate (23) with 76,7%. Discussion and conclusions. The Student T-test of related samples was used, reaching a significance value of 0,003, demonstrating that the recreational program applied was effective and is considered highly useful to be applied in different periods and students of higher levels.

In the era of globalization, we find different digital tools that have contributed to the evolution of the internet, allowing the user to become an active entity that produces and transmits information. Podcasts are digital audio recordings that are an excellent teaching and learning tool for creating and disseminating academic content. The objective of this bibliographic research is to compare educational experiences on the use of podcasts in higher education. The methodology used is hermeneutic, an exhaustive selection of articles and research papers was made that responded to the following criteria: in Spanish or English, having been published in the last 10 years, the articles must be national and international research and be focused on higher education. The following search pages and databases were used: Google Scholar, Dialnet and Scielo; using the keywords: "ICT", "higher education", "academia" and "podcast". The main findings indicated that podcast design demands from the student, planning, creativity and eloquence in what they want to express. In addition, elderly people are less likely to use digital tools, therefore, the teacher needs to become familiar with the creation of podcasts since it facilitates the understanding of academic content from different areas of knowledge. In conclusion, podcast production helps the development of superior skills in students and are digital tools compatible with asynchronous learning.

Functionalist leisure is based on three important terms: fun, rest and personal development. In addition, this has different points of view difficult to understand, because this term has evolved over time, allowing us to contemplate different perspectives of it, for this, we analyze redundant stages of history in terms of functionalist leisure and its evolution over time, in this case we have highlighted five periods of importance to humanity. This article was carried out through the bibliographic review of different documents. In different databases such as Scielo, Redalyc and Google Scholar, among other platforms, and we also relied on Zotero for the organization of documents and bibliographic citations, which allowed us to perform an orderly and concise work. Among our findings we can highlight how functionalist leisure has evolved over time, having different meanings according to the era in which it is developed, and how in ancient times leisure was based more on outdoor activities or in person, through the coexistence between people in their environment, But nowadays it has changed its perspective in the world, as technology has allowed many conveniences for the human being making the visualization of leisure both positive and negative for society, and in the same way the use of their free time for leisure has changed, much of society prefers the comfort of your home. Even so, leisure is fundamental to the development of our lives.

In a globalized and interconnected era through the web, social networks have become an important resource when it comes to promoting products, services and tourist destinations. The objective of this research is to design and implement a digital marketing management model that allows entrepreneurs in the canton of Ambato, province of Tungurahua; Disseminate their services through social networks and be beneficiaries of their outreach capacity. The methodology used consisted of a pre-test and an evaluation matrix of digital strategies that allowed diagnosing the management of digital marketing in tourism enterprises in the Ambato canton; to subsequently generate a digital marketing management model and, finally. The results allowed us to identify that the most used social networks are Facebook and Instagram. By applying the management model designed for each venture, it was possible to appreciate in the short term an increase in the different dimensions that were analyzed: attraction, conversion, relationship, sale and analysis. The above allowed us to conclude that the use of social networks for marketing purposes is very productive and requires creativity, as well as organization and monitoring of the different strategies used.

The teaching staff is going through an occupational health problem due to the long working hours that they have little free time left to develop; One of the factors that affects the sedentary lifestyle of teachers, is the null practice of work recreation within the school institutions, since it originates from the ignorance of the benefits offered by recreation, it is precisely in this research that emphasizes the awareness of the benefits of work recreation in teaching staff, focused from the dance part within the working day in the face of this problem there is a large number of studies that explain the benefits of work recreation as a strategy to reduce sedentary lifestyle in teachers of the tax education system. For this reason, the article focuses its attention on evaluating a recreational program of folkloric dance as a means of reducing sedentary lifestyle aimed at high school teachers of the fiscal system. The project is based on different research designs starting from the documentary, field and quasi-experimental analysis, through the application of tests directed to the teachers and the sedentary lifestyle that allowed to collect significant amounts to determine the diagnosis; As a result of these investigative analyzes, the final conclusion was reached that responds to the stated objective, which is to reduce sedentary lifestyle in teachers. Therefore, it is affirmed that the Folk Dance Recreational Program has significant effects on the reduction of sedentary lifestyle in secondary education teachers of the fiscal system.
{"title":"Folkloric dance and its contribution to the reduction of sedentary lifestyle in teaching staff","authors":"Pablo Dávila, Nancy Neira, César Zambrano, Jenny Endara","doi":"10.24133/recihys.v1i1.3146","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24133/recihys.v1i1.3146","url":null,"abstract":"The teaching staff is going through an occupational health problem due to the long working hours that they have little free time left to develop; One of the factors that affects the sedentary lifestyle of teachers, is the null practice of work recreation within the school institutions, since it originates from the ignorance of the benefits offered by recreation, it is precisely in this research that emphasizes the awareness of the benefits of work recreation in teaching staff, focused from the dance part within the working day in the face of this problem there is a large number of studies that explain the benefits of work recreation as a strategy to reduce sedentary lifestyle in teachers of the tax education system. For this reason, the article focuses its attention on evaluating a recreational program of folkloric dance as a means of reducing sedentary lifestyle aimed at high school teachers of the fiscal system. The project is based on different research designs starting from the documentary, field and quasi-experimental analysis, through the application of tests directed to the teachers and the sedentary lifestyle that allowed to collect significant amounts to determine the diagnosis; As a result of these investigative analyzes, the final conclusion was reached that responds to the stated objective, which is to reduce sedentary lifestyle in teachers. Higher education not only has the responsibility of forming citizens and professionals, through the development of skills that contribute to the construction of democratic societies; but also to promote and guarantee adequate training to meet the needs and demands of a convulsed society. It is evident that concepts of relevance and social responsibility have evolved in recent times. In this context, the objective of the research was: To identify the importance of Relevance and Social Responsibility in Higher Education Institutions – IES; with the intention of adopting competencies that allow improving the educational processes that are developed in the Ecuadorian university of the XXI century. The methods that allowed the fulfillment of the research were from a documentary design, associated with the hermeneutic method, through a review and interpretation of texts; as books, articles sources of primary character. The conclusion, the relevance of education, although it must approach social issues and needs to generate innovation and problem solving in each area where it is required, must contemplate critical thinking, which promulgates a receptivity of the legal and regulatory context, and a responsibility with the social and economic development of the country. For this reason, it is essential that there be a development of the curriculum in higher education, in accordance with educational policies that allow meeting the needs and demands of society; This reality will determine guidelines for the Government to promote changes that generate social responsibility and development.
