Unveiling Key Factors for Enhanced Employee Performance in Indonesia 揭示印度尼西亚提高员工绩效的关键因素

This study investigates the impact of employee competence and the work environment on performance at PT. Karya Mitra Teknik Forklift Sidoarjo. Through observations, interviews, and surveys with 30 employees over six months, the study applies Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Results show that both competence and the work environment significantly influence performance, with timely task completion and a supportive work environment identified as key areas for improvement. Enhancing employee discipline and optimizing workplace conditions are recommended to boost productivity and employee satisfaction in heavy equipment service companies. Further research could explore additional factors like compensation to further enhance organizational outcomes. Highlight:  Investigate competence and environment effect on employee performance. Unveiling the Potential of Friction Stir Welding for Seamless Metal Joining 挖掘搅拌摩擦焊在无缝金属连接方面的潜力

Friction Stir Welding (FSW) has revolutionized metal joining in manufacturing by offering robust joints without defects. This study examines FSW using specific parameters and evaluates its impact on mechanical properties and microstructure. Through rotational speed (2192 RPM), welding speed (36.3 mm/minute), tool tilt (3.4°), and concave shoulder angle (9°), FSW was applied to predetermined metal materials. Impact and Vickers tests were conducted post-welding to assess toughness, surface hardness, and microstructural changes. Results highlight the significant influence of FSW parameters on material properties, providing insights for optimizing efficiency and quality in the manufacturing industry. The study's findings contribute to addressing knowledge gaps and advancing FSW applications in industrial settings. Highlight: Precise Parameters: Control for strong joints in manufacturing. Markov Chains Slash Inventory Costs in Indonesia 马尔科夫链在印度尼西亚降低库存成本

PT. Varia Usaha Beton, facing an 8% decline in 2022 targets due to uncontrolled inventory and a 15,150-ton overstock of sand at its BSP Sayung plant, needed an effective solution. This study applied a Markov chain model with perfect enumeration to optimize sand inventory management. Qualitative data from observations, expert interviews, and company records (2021-2022) and quantitative analysis identified Policy 58 as optimal, reducing excess costs to Rp. 32,463,360 monthly. Implementing improvements in specific overstock states (3, 4, 5, and 6) provides a strategic approach to minimize sand overstock and associated costs. Highlight: Inventory Decline: 8% target drop due to uncontrolled inventory in 2022. Optimal Policy: Policy 58 reduced monthly excess costs to Rp. 32,463,360. IoT revolutionizes orchid cultivation in Indonesia with precision and efficiency 物联网为印度尼西亚的兰花栽培带来了精准高效的变革

The Orchidaceae family is highly valued in ornamental, perfume, medical, and cosmetic industries, but cultivation often fails due to human error. This research aims to design an IoT-integrated automation system to monitor and control key parameters such as air temperature, humidity, and moss moisture for orchid cultivation. Using the research and development method, we observed plant needs, reviewed relevant literature, designed an effective system, and tested sensor accuracy and system reliability. Results showed the DHT-22 sensor had a minimal error in temperature (0.9%) and humidity (2.1%) readings, and the soil moisture sensor had a 3.65% error. The system maintained optimal conditions, and the Blynk app effectively displayed data. This innovation reduces human error and enhances orchid cultivation efficiency, with potential applications in other sensitive plant systems.   Highlight:  Error Reduction: IoT system minimizes human error in orchid cultivation. Seamless Solar-Powered Hydroponics Revolutionizes Urban Farming in Indonesia 无缝太阳能水培技术彻底改变了印度尼西亚的城市农业

This study explores the use of PLTS (solar power) as an alternative energy source for urban hydroponic systems. Due to PLTS's limited capacity, an automatic transfer switch (ATS) is utilized to seamlessly switch between PLTS and PLN (public electricity) based on sensor readings. The system uses an INA219 sensor to monitor PLTS voltage, a TDS sensor for water quality, and a NodeMCU microcontroller, with data displayed on an LCD and Blynk for remote monitoring. Testing showed a PLTS voltage of 12.0V, with sensor accuracies of 96% (INA219) and 98.59% (TDS). Overall, the system demonstrated reliable and optimal performance, providing a sustainable solution for urban hydroponic farming. Highlights: 1. Unlocking Global Efficiency with Enhanced Milling Machines Worldwide 通过增强型铣床提高全球效率

This study investigates the effectiveness of six milling machines at PT. INKA, a railroad car manufacturing company, focusing on CNC Plano 133 and Horizontal Milling 142. Utilizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Age Replacement methods, the research aims to optimize machine performance and propose preventive maintenance strategies. Data spanning from January 2021 to December 2022 were collected and analyzed. Results indicate that both CNC Plano 133 and Horizontal Milling 142 exhibit suboptimal OEE values, primarily due to breakdown losses. Applying Age Replacement within 10 days significantly enhances reliability, with post-replacement reliability reaching 100%. The findings underscore the importance of preventive maintenance in improving milling machine reliability and overall productivity, thereby enhancing competitiveness and sustainability in the manufacturing sector.   Highlight:  Improved productivity: Preventive maintenance boosts milling machines' reliability and effectiveness. Indonesia's Breakthrough in Optimized Yarn Forecasting for Textile Demand Accuracy 印度尼西亚在优化纱线预测以提高纺织品需求准确性方面取得突破

PT. XY, a textile company specializing in woven sarongs, faces fluctuating demand during Islamic religious celebrations, impacting production. In Ramadhan 2023, production increased by 30%, but warp yarn availability was insufficient. This study forecasts warp yarn production over twelve periods, comparing Double Exponential Smoothing Holt’s (DES) and Holt-Winter’s Exponential Smoothing (WES) methods, optimized using the golden section method. Using historical data from January 2021 to April 2023, WES with golden section parameters (α1 = 0.67387, β1 = 0.08756, γ2 = 0.85408) achieved the best accuracy with a MAPE of 5.5437%. The WES method is recommended for improving production planning at PT. XY, with future research suggested to explore production correlations and procurement costs. Highlight: Demand Fluctuation: PT. Queue Optimization Study for Retail Efficiency Enhancement 提高零售效率的队列优化研究

Minimarkets face challenges of overcrowding and prolonged wait times, often due to suboptimal cashier staffing. This study aims to determine the optimal number of cashiers to minimize queues. Using a single-phase multi-channel queuing model, data was collected through direct observation and quantitative analysis. Initial findings with two cashiers revealed varying wait times, prompting simulation experiments. Results indicated that adding a third cashier significantly reduced wait times to 0.41-2.45 minutes, enhancing service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Future research may explore longer observation periods and assess cost-effectiveness in staffing adjustments. Revolutionizing Project Resilience through Advanced Risk Mitigation Strategy Launched 推出先进的风险缓解战略,彻底改变项目的抗灾能力

This study examines the risks associated with project delays in the Mover Tram rail line repair project at TMII and proposes mitigation strategies using a combination of Risk Breakdown Structure (RBS), Analytical Network Process (ANP), and Bow Tie Analysis methodologies. Through expert interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis, key risks were identified and prioritized. Results indicate that construction management emerged as the dominant risk group, with specific risks including delays in critical path tasks and discrepancies between drawings and methods. Mitigation strategies were developed focusing on these dominant risks. The study underscores the importance of integrating diverse risk assessment techniques for effective project management and suggests avenues for future research to enhance risk management frameworks in construction projects.
