The Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) became a pandemic in March 2020. As the impact, the learning activities experienced a shift from traditional learning methods to technology-based or online learning. The shifting forces the students and instructors to adapt to new things. This study aims to determine how various learning activities in English reading class motivate students and to determine students’ motivation in English reading class. This study involved 22 students from Universitas Kristen Indonesia in Jakarta utilizing experimental research using three strategies of teaching reading. This research recommended three activities that motivated the students to participate actively in class. The three activities include implementing online reading tests, assigning reflective reading, and presenting the summary of journal articles. The three different teaching reading strategies increase students’ motivation to trigger their enthusiasm to participate consistently in every activity. The research suggests that various ways of teaching academic reading are necessary since students feel contented. This study implies that it provides alternative strategies for teaching reading applicable in all reading classes, mainly to university students.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang implementasi kompetensi guru penggerak dalam menerapkan merdeka belajar SMK di Tana Toraja. Teachers are the driving force that plays an important role both in terms of Knowledge and cognitive growth of children. As the main pillar in the world of education, teacher welfare is still very behind. The government policy taken to equalize the rights of teachers who have served in the world of education for many years is to make policies that can make it easier for all teachers who are registered as honorary teachers to have equality with all civil servants. Therefore, the government has made a policy since 2021 to equalize the rights for every honorary teacher, namely by establishing a PPPK Policy or Government Employee with a Work agreement. this policy aims to provide equal rights for all honorary teachers in Indonesia. This study aims to evaluate the PPPK selection policy in Ambon city using the CIPP model or context, inputs, processes and products at the Ambon City government office as the Implementer of PPPK selection activities. This study used a descriptive model and qualitative data collection. The data was conducted through interviews with the Head of the Education Office and the Head of the BKD in Ambon city as well as the distribution of questionnaires to each teacher participating in PPPK. This study explains that the selection of government employees with an employment agreement is one of the good policies that help an honorary teacher to get the same rights as ASN, but also tells that this policy is not a policy that can accommodate all honorary teachers to be able to receive these rights, because there are technical obstacles in the field both in terms of applicants and from a technical point of view, therefore this policy is not a policy that can accommodate all honorary teachers to be able to receive these rights. The development of computer and information technology has brought human life to enter digital and cyber services, where all lines of life can be carried out through applications and the touch of a finger, including counseling services. Counseling services develop from classical services to cyber counseling, where clients do not require physical face-to-face meetings. The cyber counseling service developed in this article uses the Edlink Sevima platform which is integrated with the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) platform. This cyber counseling service is named the Counseling Room which is integrated into the faculty website. The Counseling Room provides services in the form of individual and group counseling with synchronous and asynchronous offerings, where clients and counselors can enter the Counseling Room by utilizing the chat room provided or by making an appointment to enter a video conference via the Zoom application or Microsoft Teams. The method used in writing this article is model development and literature analysis. This cyber counseling service is intended to help students express their problems, both academic and non-academic, to the counselor. Perkembangan teknologi komputer dan informasi membawa kehidupan manusia untuk masuk ke layanan digital dan cyber, di mana semua lini kehidupan dapat dijalankan melalui aplikasi dan sentuhan jari tangan termasuk layanan konseling. Layanan konseling berkembang dari layanan klasikal menjadi cyber counseling, di mana klien tidak memerlukan tatap muka secara fisik. Layanan cyber counseling yang dikembangkan dalam artikel ini menggunakan platform Edlink Sevima yang terintegrasi dengan platform Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD). Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe how the implementation of quality management in Pelita Nauli Middle Tapanuli High School. The research used descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques carried out by interviews, observation and documentation. The indicators developed are how to implement quality management starting from the planning stage which includes the formulation of the school's vision, mission, goals and work plans. The next stage is the implementation of each program and activity. This implementation stage takes into account the provisions of quality standards covering eight national education standards, namely content standards, process standards, graduate competency standards, educators and education personnel standards, facilities and infrastructure standards, management standards, financing standards, and education assessment standards. Monitoring and evaluation should also be carried out during program implementation. This is done to assess the achievement of the school's vision and mission through eight educational standards instruments. The results showed that the implementation of quality management at SMTK Pelita Nauli Sibolga was still not optimal. The fulfillment of each educational standard instrument is still far from what it should be. Improving the quality of schools is an important concern that must be carried out on an ongoing basis and involves the cooperation of all components in the school. Online learning has been carried out by most schools to support government policies on physical distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic. The complexity of mathematics material is one of the causes of the lack of interaction during online learning result learning is less meaningful. There are various ways the teachers use information technology, one of them is the use of Nearpod. This study analyzes Nearpod's use in mathematics online learning in terms of its easiness and performance in supporting interactive learning. The method used is a descriptive method by distributing questionnaires to 114 students in SMK Santa Maria Jakarta. The findings in this study were that 88.8% agreed that Nearpod was very easy to use and 85.75% agreed that Nearpod could support interactive learning.

The goal of this research is to determine the impact of outdoor learning on student creativity in Christian religious education courses at SMP Surya Computer Pematangsiantar. The sample size is 66 persons. The descriptive approach is used in this study, and the data analysis used in the hypothesis research is Pearson's product moment correlation, with the data collecting tool being a questionnaire for Variable X (the influence of outdoor learning) and Y. (student creativity). The Pearson Product Moment Correlation Statistical Test was performed to determine the extent to which outdoor learning influences students' creativity in Christian religious education courses. From the test results obtained a correlation test (r) 0.352 with a determination test of 12.25% and to find out whether the correlation coefficient is significant at the real level (α) = 0.05 then a "t" test is held with the test criteria if tcount obtained from the calculation greater (>) than ttable at a significant level of 1 – 0.05 with dk = n – 2 then the hypothesis was accepted and in other cases it was rejected. From the test results obtained tcount > ttable tcount = 3.01> ttable = 1.66, then the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, it can be stated that the significant influence between the influence of outdoor learning on student creativity in Christian religious education subjects is to see how far it is in SMP Surya Computer Pematangsiantar.

Student worksheets (LKS) are one of the appropriate learning alternatives for students because they can help students to add information about the concepts learned through the process of learning activities. This study aims to develop a worksheet based on a virtual physics education technology (PhET) laboratory on the material of traveling waves and stationary waves. This research was conducted at the state 42 Jakarta Senior High School (SMA) in class XI Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. This research uses a research and development (R& D) method with simple random sampling. Validation was carried out for the subject matter, learning media and language used of the LKS developed. At the end of LKS development was the implementation of the LKS, a questionnaire was distributed to students to determine student responses to the developed LKS. The results of the validation of the subject matter, learning media and language obtained an average value of 81.09%, 76.96% and 82.50% with feasible, feasible, and very feasible categories for each validation carried out. While the results of student responses showed an average value of 87.39% with a very positive category.
