Design thinking is an innovative way of thinking and solving problems in which the focus is on the user. This paper provides an overview of current research on the topic to gain insight into current practices and create a basis for further development of the area. Synthesis of knowledge is presented through historical development, methodology, and processes used in the field. The methodology used is a desk-research method through which a comparison of the literature was conducted. According to the results of the research, we can conclude that there is still no harmonized definition of design thinking. Therefore, due to the rapid development of this field, it is necessary to synthesize the latest research. Also, it is important to provide expert designers with specialized books and tools since the problems are becoming more complex, and designers with competencies required to solve such problems are needed.

Starting from the general concept of a system-process, which is defined by the quality of relations between individual elements, we can single out attributes whose elements have a dominant character of the information system, all in the projection of the quality of the observed process. In any state of the process, information is undoubtedly significant as a subsystem, whose property cannot be ignored, because it is a dynamic process that bases its dynamism in the time domain. The paper precisely defines the information power model as well as its response to the occurrence of perturbations in a strictly defined time domain, all in the function of one process-event. The described complexity can be a function of horizontal complexity, whereby a hierarchical component is frequently lost, or it can be another component resulting from the overall information process. The paper deals with measurements of the response to an event that took place at the global level, that is, the finals of the UEFA Champions League 2021. A unique functional relationship of power of information in strictly defined marginal conditions was obtained. The paper presents the spectrum of the power of occurrence-opening of the portal of the mentioned event through the functional relationship of the dynamic process. All the described phenomena gave new insights in the development of the information model.

The objective of this research is to study the free vibration of a cantilever Euler-Bernoulli beam carrying a point mass with moment of inertia at the free end using the spectral element method (SEM). Typically, the shape (or interpolation) functions used in the Spectral element method are derived from exact solutions of the governing differential equations of motion in the frequency domain. The beam was discretized by a single spectral element which was connected by a point mass at the free end. The dynamic stiffness matrix of the beam is formulated in frequency domain by considering compatibility conditions at the additional mass position. Then, the first three natural frequencies of the cantilever beam are determined. After the validation of the spectral element method, the influence of the non-dimensional mass parameter and the non-dimensional mass moment of inertia on the first three natural frequencies and shape mode are examined.

Rubber metal bushings are one of the most important parts of the suspension system. These parts are specially designed to minimize the vibrations and noises that vehicles are exposed to while driving. In this study, it is aimed to measure the circularity of rubber metal bushings after stress relief. A modular design is provided according to the tolerance values of the bushings in the inventory. Simultaneously with deep learning and image processing algorithms, laser circularity measurements are verified with reference to bush circularity and deformation points are determined. The detected deformation is transferred to the HMI screen. With this study, it was ensured that the circularity errors in the rubber metal bushings were taken under control and the problems that may be encountered after the production were eliminated, a more sensitive solution was provided, and a quality production and accurate results were obtained.

Playground is effective on behavior of children; however, the severity of this effect and its variety in different playgrounds is still unclear. Identifying the playing area, reviewing local observations, evaluating interactions and their extent, and analyzing the level of communication between children can lead to correct ranking of playgrounds. Features of playground and the created space along with vegetation and plants are effective factors in attracting children and encouraging them to increase interactions. Various features of playground can determine the extent to which a child participates in social interactions. These features, along with other environmental factors, allow the development of social behaviors for children. Therefore, playgrounds must have potential facilities and capabilities for influencing children to provide high quality. This study will analyze the Pasdaran Park playground using quantitative method and distributing questionnaires. Field study is required to obtain the results. To this end, a questionnaire containing 18 questions was developed using parameters and factors previously defined and scored on a 5-point Likert scale. Fifty park visitors were questioned. According to the results, the most important factors, which can increase satisfaction and meet visitor needs include providing new access routes and improving the existing ones, increasing children interactions in green spaces, using vegetation in the environment, improving the environment according to the needs of users. The results of this study can be used as guideline for designing and developing this space and similar spaces.
