The state-of-the-art applications of artificial intelligence in distance education: a systematic mapping study 人工智能在远程教育中的最新应用:一个系统的地图研究

In this knowledge-based society, the increasing need of gaining knowledge has forced universities into the effective adaptation of distance learning technologies in their educational program so that they can satisfy a huge number of students who prefer to attend in distance learning mode. Advances in artificial intelligence technologies have also contributed to the development of distance learning programs as support tools in teaching and learning processes, closing the educational and organizational gap between students and teachers such as performing time-intensive tasks, providing constant feedback, and reducing disqualifications and dropouts in distance learning courses. In this contribution, this paper presents the state-of-the-art applications of artificial intelligence in distance education by using a systematic mapping approach that aims to identify, analyze, and classify the relevant literature about different artificial intelligence technologies applied in distance education environments. Based on research questions, and search and selection strategies, 60 candidate studies are identified and retrieved from four academic repositories. Afterward, they are further filtered through selection criteria and discussed to reach a consensus, leading to exclusion of 23 documents. The resulting 37 studies constitute the final pool of key publications that are classified and analyzed to build content taxonomy and provide the state of the art in artificial intelligence-supported remote education. This paper also identified research interest clusters with highlights for the term analysis of the textual & behavioral patterns of students, face recognition, and emotion recognition. The study concludes the paper with implications, limitations of the study, and future research agenda.

METHODOLOGY FOR ASSESSING THE FINANCIAL SECURITY OF ENTERPRISES IN THE POST-PANDEMIC PERIOD OF DIGITAL ECONOMY 数字经济大流行后时期企业财务安全评估方法

The article considers the approaches to assessing the financial security of enterprises presented in the literature, determines the rsistance of the textile industry of Uzbekistan to the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the basis of statistical data, and reveals a significant differentiation of textile industry enterprises in terms of financial stability. Based on data on small enterprises in the textile industry of Uzbekistan, a method for assessing the financial security of an enterprise in the post-pandemic period is proposed and tested, taking into account the complex influence of non-financial parameters of economic security and assessing the deviations of the economic situation at a given enterprise from the patterns emerging in the relevant segment of the economy. In this research an econometric model was developed to determine the factors affecting the chemical industry and express their interrelationship, based on the conducted econometric analysis, the directions of development in our country were determined. According to the authors, it is necessary to continue these directions in order to ensure the economic security of industry enterprises in the country.

ENERGY HARVESTING IN CWSNS VIA OPTIMAL TRANSMISSION RANGES WITH GUARANTEE DELIVERED FOR NETWORK'S DATA CWSNS在保证网络数据传输的前提下,通过最优传输范围进行能量采集

Today, the mechanism of Clustering Wireless Sensor Networks (known as CWSNs) is one of the most important technologies used to harvest energy in network' sensors that are limited in energy resources due to their use of small non-rechargeable batteries with short lifetime, so the energy consumption in these networks that is a result of the continue processes for sensing, processing, switching , receiving and sending data will lead to an early network death. In CWSNs, the number of transmissions and its ranges are reduced by making the ordinary sensors of each group ( Cluster) send its data only to its Cluster leader ( Cluster Head or CH) , who is the only one responsible for receiving these data and then insuring connectivity to the network's data by sending it to the Base Station ( BS) or to the closer CH to him and to that station at the same time. In this paper, the transmission range algorithm in [1] has been improved by reducing the area research for next hop towards the BS or gateway to obtain the lower ranges to transmit network data for various node density and saving about 15% of the network's energy more than main approach in [1]. This will extend the CWSN's lifetime and improve its throughput.

IMPACT OF DIGITALIZATION ON FIRMS’ PRODUCTIVITY 数字化对企业生产力的影响

Employing Enterprise Survey data that comprises 1276 firms from four Central Asian countries, this study focuses on the impact of digitalization as well as human capital on firms’ productivity. We have found that digitalization improves firms’ productivity by 44-52 percent on average, statistically significant at 1%. Moreover, analysis shows that the impact is heterogenous, with large and statistically significant effects for firms in retail, nonmetal, and, especially, textile industries. These results imply that digitalization is crucial in improving firms’ productivity and the government could implement policies that encourage and help firms with this regard.

METHODOLOGICAL ISSUES OF ECONOMETRIC ESTIMATING EXPORT GRAVITY MODELS 计量经济估计出口重力模型的方法问题

In this article, the authors critically analyze the existing econometric approaches to estimating gravity models of exports from the point of view of solving such problems as taking into account zero observations, bias, inconsistency and inefficiency of estimates. As a result, the authors come to the conclusion that the random effects panel regression estimation is the most preferable method for estimating the gravity export equation. This result has come from a case of Uzbekistan.

THE IMPACT OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY ON RENEWABLE ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND GENERATION: EVIDENCE FROM EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES 数字经济对可再生能源消费和发电的影响:来自欧盟国家的证据

The article aims to provide an empirical investigation of the relationship between the digital economy and renewable energy consumption and generation based on a panel data analysis of 25 European Union (EU) countries for the period 2017–2021. The results indicate that the growth of the digital economy positively influences the transition to clean energy. At the same time, the control variables do not behave uniformly. Thus, urbanization has the strongest positive effect on the transition to renewable energy sources (RES). Carbon dioxide emissions also have a positive effect on renewable energy consumption and generation. However, an increase in primary energy consumption per capita leads to a decrease in the production and consumption of RES. Thus, while there is a positive relationship between the digital economy and the transition to RES, there is an ambiguous impact of urbanization, carbon emissions, and primary energy consumption on green energy in the EU.

The article presents the results of observation of 213 patients with PD, including 90 (42.25%) women, 123 (57.75%) men, whose mean age was 46.17±0.63 years. Patients with PD were selected in accordance with the international criteria of the British brain bank "Parkinson's Disease Society Brain Bank". Patients underwent CT or MRI of the brain. Olfactory disturbances were studied using the Sniffin Stix Test (SST) by Burchard (Hamburg, Germany). All patients underwent examination of the ENT organs. The results obtained indicate that the presence of hyposmia in patients with early onset of PD is an important biomarker of the latent neurodegenerative process of the “Parkinsonian” type and, therefore, the risk of future development of PD.
