Communication standards and protocols are detrimental to the success of any Internet of Things (IoT) system or application. Selecting a communication standard and a suitable middleware or messaging protocol for IoT connectivity is challenging due to the heterogeneous resource-constrained IoT devices and their messaging requirements. Recently, several messaging/middleware protocols in the IoT field were developed and adopted in the industry. However, to date, there is no specific messaging protocol that can support all messaging use cases and fulfil the overall requirements of IoT systems. Therefore, it is critical to understand the application layer messaging and communication protocols of IoT systems to identify the most appropriate protocol that could fit and be applied in various contexts. This paper provides a comparative analysis of the MQTT, CoAP, and AMQP messaging protocols including their security.

Vehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANETs), a subcategory of Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs), is a promising approach that is now evolving, gaining attention and momentum. VANET consists of highly mobile nodes and roadside infrastructure to communicate essential information across a network, such as collisions, traffic congestion, and vehicular destinations. Due to its frequent vehicle movement, time-critical response and hybrid architecture, it comes with a plethora of network security and privacy issues ranging from the potential of malicious attacks to the availability of essential information across the network and its overall integrity. There is much research devoted to enabling secure communication in VANETs for the best Intelligent Transport System (ITS) experience. In this paper, we address and discuss the characteristics and security issues including the existing VANETs attacks and preventive approaches to each security attack emphasising the main features and the major drawbacks. The review of these different countermeasures shows their strengths and weaknesses and how they can be implemented independently or in a hybrid model best suited to the situation.

Today, in Uzbekistan, the number of retail store chains is increasing. In their work, the latest technological achievements are used in order to satisfy the demands and needs of our people. Especially in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been highlighted that retail enterprises operating on the basis of network marketing, based on the needs and demands of the population, are operating in the form of large supermarkets and small stores. In this article, based on the latest information, we analyzed the brands "Korzinka", "Makro", "Havas", "Carrefour" operating in Uzbekistan.

This paper discusses the issues for creation of a multiple listing service (MLS) in Uzbekistan as a process of digital transformation of the domestic real estate market. In particular, the paper explores the essence and theoretical aspects of MLS, proposes the conceptual bases for creating the MLS when digitizing the domestic real estate market, and describes the mechanism of MLS's operation. The research methodology is based on a systematic approach to the formation of the conceptual foundations for creating an MLS for the real estate market of Uzbekistan. The research results noted the necessity of creating a national model of the MLS which takes into account the advanced achievements in the organization and functioning of the MLS of foreign countries and adapted to local conditions, as well as the necessity of development of software product in the form of web-platform which would contribute to the further development of the domestic real estate market.

Since forecasting water demand is very important either for the short or the long-term, many techniques were used to effectively do predictions such as the Moving Average (MA), the Auto Regressive (AR), the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) and the Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) models. The latter model demonstrates its superiority in accuracy when predicting time series that's why in this article; we will use it to forecast the future water consumption in Jeddah City using the historical records collected from the Jeddah water authorities. We will also compare LSTM and ARIMA models. Moreover, in this paper we will use the Mean Square Error (MSE), the Mean Absolute Relative Error (MAPE), the Root mean square (RMSE), and the Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) to decide and choose the best model. Experiments and interpretation of results obtained led to the conclusion of the superiority of LSTM in forecasting water demand in Jeddah City from 2004 to 2018.

Pedagogical use of mobile applications has become a novel approach for language teaching, resulting in higher student engagement and motivation. There are a number of methods and practices that have been created so far to incorporate into language classroom at the disposal of language educators. However, extracting relevant and suitable information from growing bodies of research and teaching practices to apply in a specific teaching context is tedious and time-consuming requirement for those who want to use the state-of-the-art methods of mobile assisted language teaching in their classroom. Thus, the aim of this systematic mapping study is to structure the knowledge of using Mobile Assisted Language Learning methods and practices and provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of the art in this domain of language teaching. Besides giving the structure of relevant research areas and the portfolio of key publications, the paper also outlines classification of mobile assisted language learning solution proposals and the visual status of the target research areas. Finally, it represents future research agenda and draw implications.

The article carried out a systematic analysis of the functioning of existing facilities and agricultural enterprises. Based on the results of the system analysis, problems and shortcomings of the processes of functioning of objects and enterprises of agriculture were identified, for the elimination of which the use of an intelligent information system for decision support was proposed. In this paper, the principles and requirements for the creation and application are formed, and the structure of an intelligent decision support information system is developed, which includes the subsystem of support, databases, knowledge and functional blocks, and tasks. Using the methods of system analysis and information processing, a block diagram of the information support of intelligent information systems for decision support was developed. This article also presents the structures of the database representation, the main ones for the formation and adoption of control decisions in intelligent information decision support systems.
