Explosive Ordnance Disposal/Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (EOD/IEDD), Urban Save and Rescue (USAR), Firefighting, Chemical, Biological, Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Agents neutralization robots serve every day. There is a necessary to focus research efforts on closing the technological gap between the current incidence response robots and the latest technologies implemented in major service robot fields such as game, domestic, medical, etc. and industrial robot applications. A target should be the improvement of the multi-mission capabilities and the effectiveness of the incident response robots. The main goal of the paper is to present a concept of haptic and autonomous multi-mission incident response robot for controlled industrial, civil and bomb disposal emergency situations. The article focuses on closing the reliability gap current incident response robots suffer in comparison with, e.g. the industrial robots.

The levels of solar radiation are an important factor that should be taken into consideration when deciding the position of photovoltaic systems, measuring the safety levels for work environments, education, etc. Specific areas of smartphone applications for assessing the level of solar radiation are considered. The effectiveness of the offered software is analyzed with the help of a specially developed mechanical platform on which a smart device is attached. It provides measurement at different angles of solar radiation. Actual values of the level of solar radiation are those obtained from a professional meteorological station, under the same measurement conditions. The results of measuring the level of solar radiation with a smartphone and a precise climate station at different angles and positions of the sun are compared. They justify new areas of application of the proposed method — preliminary audit in the construction of small photovoltaic installations, learning process related to photovoltaic conversion, etc.

The diversity of seagoing ships and marine facilities is increasing. The power of the ship's power systems is also increasing, especially for ships with electrical propulsion systems. High voltage and DC distribution networks are used to increase their efficiency and stability. The presence of rectifiers degrades the power quality, which disrupts the operation of all electrical equipment. An accurate mathematical model of a ship's power system containing an electronic rectifier is proposed. With the help of the model, different static and dynamic modes of operation of the system caused by different control and disturbance influences are studied. The modes are tested in phase and PWM control of the rectifier. Some of the results of the research are presented, and the frequency spectra of the quality of electricity obtained by FFT are shown.

The conditions of actual operation of the vehicle in certain cases differ from the standard conditions of application of the relevant standard for determining the content of toxic components in the exhaust gases. This leads to an incorrect estimate of the absolute volume of toxic emissions released into the atmosphere. Nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gases of diesel cars are significantly affected by the dynamics of the operating mode, as well as the engine load. This trend is particularly negative for older diesel cars, which do not have the option of additional neutralization of exhaust gases. Under the conditions of the car fleet of the Republic of Bulgaria, which has an average age of 18 years, this problem is essential. For the objective assessment of the actual amount of nitrogen oxides emitted in the exhaust gases, planned experiments have been conducted in which extreme acceleration processes and loads of the car are artificially simulated. The experiments were performed on a car that meets the requirements of the EURO3 standard (18 years old) and on a new car according to the EURO 6D - TEMP standard. Conclusions have been made regarding the high level of neutralization of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gases of vehicles with catalytic reduction.

The research presented in this paper examines the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve energy-efficiency management in South Africa. This paper reviews and compares conventional methods with AI-based techniques used in energy-efficiency management systems. Various AI techniques have been investigated in this domain such as the artificial neural network and support vector machine. AI techniques offer the advantage of being more accurate when calculating non-linear parameters and thus are more efficient. Improved energy efficiency could allow more communities to gain access to electricity and improve their general living conditions.

The current crisis phenomena in the economies of most countries have a major impact on the implementation of the main directions of environmental policy related to the policy of replacing energy resources with "clean" ones that do not pollute the atmosphere and do not harm living organisms and the environment. The impact of the crisis can slow down the implementation of many policy points in developed countries, including the European Union. The article examines the experience of implementation of environmental policy of the European Union, presents the main concepts and ways of development of new economic models (in particular, the green economy) of some developed countries, and also investigates the directions of transition to renewable energy sources (RES) in developing countries. In the course of the study some indicators of economic efficiency of the undertaken measures and their results are considered. Russia's resource-export model is unstable and a dead end, which is recognized by politicians and scientists alike. Development based on the depletion of natural resources cannot be sustainable in the long term. The country is in search of a new model, which can be a model of green economy.

Yemen is currently suffering from a shortage of electricity. 41% of population do not have access to the public electricity grid and rural areas are particularly badly affected. Solar panels can be a highly applicable and more environmentally solution as Yemen is a rich country in solar energy. This paper presents a stand-alone photovoltaic SAPV system design using the PVsyst 7.2 software to supply the required energy to a typical house of rural areas in Yemen. The application of PV systems is particularly promising for areas with lower levels of electrification. The geographical location, solar irradiation, load requirements, and various types of power losses are determined. The results and graphs obtained the optimum size of SAPV system configuration. The total amount of electrical energy generated by PV array that supplied to the load and the various types of power losses are determined.

Land Use and Land Cover (LULC) represent the most important tool used in research, like land use planning, management and other activities, agriculture and natural resources. The main purpose of this research is to create a map of land use and land cover of the Roman city and the surroundings of the Northern side area, using GIS methods and remote sensing, and to examine the accuracy of the map obtained, using Google earth high resolution images. Classification process and analysis of the different LULC classes were made using image covering Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS. The Landsat images were acquired for the date of 09.012020 from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Earth Explorer. The image with a total surface of 17,571.71 ha, was classified into 6 classes: Agriculture (8811.96 ha), Low vegetation (4078.35 ha), Build up area (2570.80 ha), Bare land (1425.97 ha), Water body (363.75 ha) and High vegetation (320.88 ha). Agriculture was the class with the highest percentage (50.15%), is dominant for the study area. The study map has an overall classification accuracy of 76.3% and overall kappa coefficient of 70.7% for the classified image, values that fit in the Substantial agreement range, thus making it suitable for use in further research by different organizational management activity of the area.
