Experiment and Simulation Study of the Effect of Fillers on Mechanical Properties of Sustainable Composite 填料对可持续复合材料力学性能影响的实验与仿真研究

Abstract Natural fiber reinforced polymer matrix composites are gaining increasing attention as engineering materials for advanced applications, including high performance ballistic armor components. This requires superior mechanical properties, such as toughness. Jute fiber reinforced composites are currently being explored as possible advanced engineering materials. Therefore, the objective of this study is to investigate the mechanical characteristics of epoxy composites reinforced with jute fibers and steel fillers. In the present study, three types of the composite of two-way jute carpet and steel fillers were reinforced with epoxy, with different rates of each material.

Research of Stresses in Support-Rotary Devices of Truck Cranes with Mutually Perpendicular Rollers 相互垂直滚子汽车起重机支承回转装置的应力研究

Abstract Computer-aided analysis by the method of finite elements of the stress-strain working state of rollers having a pair point contact, a support-rotating device of truck cranes and other lifting-transport machines is performed. The regularities of the change of contact stresses with characteristic values at the ends of the rollers and along their length, which are important for practice, are obtained. The obtained results are presented graphically, which increases the possibilities of their practical use at the stages of design and operation of support-rotating devices of truck cranes with mutually perpendicular rollers.

Four-Lobe Blower Performance Assessment 四叶鼓风机性能评估

Abstract This paper presents a new 4-lobe blower for supercharging a two-stroke engine. Based on a modified Roots compressor manufactured prototype shows pros and cons of an innovative profile. The results demonstrate that the shape of rotor edges effect out pressure stability. The measurement results include the main assessed parameters: outlet pressure, overall efficiency, losses and outlet air temperature.

Investigating the Effect of Rotor Design Changes on Mechanical Losses Due to Rotor-Fluid Interaction 研究转子设计变化对转子-流体相互作用造成的机械损失的影响

Abstract The overall efficiency of high-speed rotating machines depends largely on their mechanical efficiency. Mechanical efficiency is not just a matter of bearing losses, but includes all interactions of the rotor with the environment. Analytical and empirical descriptions of turbulent or laminar flow around rotating surfaces have been used to estimate the mechanical losses of a turbocharger rotor based on geometric parameters and operating conditions. Based on the knowledge of the effect of each parameter, design changes to the rotor were proposed. The positive effect of simple design modifications on mechanical losses was experimentally verified by measurements on a test turbocharger.

Determination of Measurement Parameters for Vibration Analysis by Bus 客车振动分析测量参数的确定

Abstract From the point of view of field examinations, especially in the case of measurements done by instruments, it is crucially important to determine measurement conditions. Accurate identification of parameters enables accurate and certified measurement results to be achieved. In our work, we represent the determination of measurement conditions for harmful vibrations occurring during urban road transport of an Ikarus 55 type long-haul bus. This is a favourable basis for further vibration analysis regarding other buses.

A Novel Semi-Analytical Approach to the Assessment of the Equivalent Stiffness of a Beam 一种评估梁等效刚度的新型半解析方法

Abstract This paper introduces several new approaches to stiffness calculation of the composite beam with a circular cross-section. The paper poses the problem of calculating the stiffness of the fibre-reinforced winded beam and introduces a new way of stiffness calculation. The novel semi-analytical calculation represents an approach that is less time consuming than conventional calculation methods or FEA methods. The expected application of the new method of calculation is in preliminary design and design calculations.

Testing the Readiness of Slovak Road Infrastructure for the Deployment of Intelligent Transportation 测试斯洛伐克道路基础设施部署智能交通的准备情况

Abstract In the recent years, we observe huge effort to develop new technologies for modern road vehicles in order to improve the level of safety for all passengers in the vehicle. Many of these systems are sooner or later becoming mandatory for the vehicles to be allowed to drive on the European roads. These are for example Lane Keeping Assistants (LKA) or Intelligent Speed Assist (ISA). Although there is huge effort on development and continuous improvement of these systems in the new vehicles, much less effort is put into the analysis of the infrastructure itself in the terms of its readiness for being used by these technologies. This study, in cooperation with the government authorities set as a goal an evaluation of sensoric readability of the horizontal and vertical road signs on the Slovak road infrastructure together with a public dataset to be released after the study will be completely done.

Abstract Data on hydrodynamics of carbon dioxide in shock tube can be presented as a main opportunity to apprehend and establish sterilization treatment process. Here, a modified and axi-symmetric shock-tube model has been developed to simulate shockwave propagation and reflection after rapid bursting of two diaphragms separated initially with a relaxed fluid. It has been demonstrated that the given model is capable of accurately simulating, locating, and measuring shock and expansion wave propagation and reflections as well as estimating the thermodynamic preconditions that can lead to prompt sterilization.

These were initially focused on the research of the combustion engines. This was later accompanied also by research of the vehicle powertrains and drive units in general. Latest of these conferences was organized by the Institute of Transport technology and Engineering Design, SjF, STU in the year 2022 in the mansion house Kočovce.

Abstract Conservation of energy and reduction in emissions emerge as significantly cautious for automobiles because of severe current emissions and energy situation. Many of experts have opinion that, majority of cars fitted with internal combustion engines are the major contributors of unhealthy emissions to the atmosphere which causes global warming and increase air quality index in urban areas. Internal combustion engines are accountable for the major pollution issues. As the energy calamity and atmospheric pollution are becoming remarkable in day to day life, hybrid electric vehicles (HEV’s) necessity for the world is in accelerated pace.
