This study uses a qualitative approach to explore how technology enhanced learning (TEL) contributes to learning-oriented assessment (LOA). The analysis of 9 interviews revealed that a TEL environment may facilitate learning through enabling timely feedback, tracking learning progress, offering innovative and learner-centered assessment methods, and increasing transparency. However, due to a lack of digital assessment competences, teachers may face challenges designing LOA in a TEL environment.

The purpose of this work was to assess the impact on the students’ functional fitness of a one academic year student health-enhancing program based on equipping students with theoretical and methodological knowledge which allows them to analyze the dynamics of their own functional state and interpret digital feedback received from heart rate monitors. Studies have proven that receiving timely feedback of heart rate during the implementation of the training program, is a promising direction to enhance students functional fitness. The obtained research data can help to better understand how providing digital feedback during exercise can help improve student health and self-management skills that are important for students when planning independent physical activity programs.

Steam learning training through the Loose Part Media is a community service program that aims to provide education to institutions, educators and parents of students in an effort to improve the quality of education, especially early childhood education. STEAM learning for early childhood or pre-school children emphasizes more on active learning, stimulating children, solving problems, focusing on solutions, building logical and systematic ways of thinking and sharpening critical thinking skills. In optimizingtheapplication of STEAM learning, it is necessary to support adequate teaching resources, especially in the procurement of teaching media and play tools. Reviewing from the strategic location of the service located in Bone Bolango Gorontalo province which is a coastal area far from the city so that it is difficult to procure teaching media and play tools. Therefore, one of the right solutions that can support the optimization of the application of STEAM learning is the use of Loose Part media. Throughthe use of Loose Part media, institutions, educators and parents can use objects in the environment around children as teaching media and play tools.

The features and characteristics of Industry 5.0 and the changes that occur as a result are described. On this basis, some dimensions of Education 5.0 and the accompanying Society 5.0 are highlighted. A brief picture of Society 5.0 and Education 5.0 and a set of skills that students need to cope better in the uncertain future are presented. The four structural forces that will shape the world over the next 20 years, presented in the report on global trends “Global Trends 2040: A More Challenged World” of the US National Intelligence Council, are presented.

This report is a detailed analysis of the adequacy of curriculum and extracurricular activities in the fight against substance abuse. The opinion of students in the junior high and high school stages of education and the teachers teaching in both stages was studied. The aim of the research is to specify to what extent the curriculum, extracurricular activities and activities in the classroom are adequate for the prevention of addictions to psychoactive substances. The survey was conducted using a form provided to the principals of two schools. The respondents are in two groups – the first group of students from junior high school and high school stage of education and the second group - teachers who teach the respective students. The study was conducted in the period 14.04.2022 – 05.06.2022 among students and pedagogical specialists from Hristo Smirnenski Primary School and Sofia University “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” both with headquarters in the town of Radomir.

Unaccompanied migrant children are a specific group of children with specific problems and needs. After their arrival on the territory of the European Union, the responsibility and obligation for their care and protection rests with the country in whose territory they are located. The article examines both the achievements of the Bulgarian state in terms of fulfilling these commitments, as well as problematic aspects that remain unresolved, despite their crucial impact on reaching sustainable solutions for the development and well-being of every single unaccompanied child seeking international protection in Bulgaria.

The legal-pedagogical analysis focuses on the opening of the first Higher Pedagogical Course (1888) and its implementation as a higher school with the main task of preparing teachers to work for the national and cultural individuality of the Bulgarians. As a result, it is assumed that with the Higher School in Sofia, a successful model of higher education was established in the system and the foundations of scientific and methodological practice were laid in accordance with “our national ideals”. Its transformation into Sofia University is assessed as a legislative and socio-pedagogical contribution of national importance, in line with the strategy for the development of a comprehensive education system in the country.

This publication is a result of the joint work of an Erasmus student from the Netherlands and a lecturer at Sofia University in Bulgaria as a host country. The present article investigates the main current problems of education for democratic citizenship (EDC) in two EU countries – The Netherlands and Bulgaria, from the point of view of: 1. the brief background of the tradition of democracy, constitutionalism and democratic citizenship in the two EU countries; 2. the structure of EDC in formal education, the most significant studies and the main requirements of the current legislation in each of two countries of EU. These points of view created the general framework for interpreting the state of the EDC in two countries. The summary from this research can be made that despite the different historical past and the different degree of democratization of the different national communities, today the two EU countries have similar goals and take similar state actions through the legislation for the development of the educational systems towards the sustainability of democratic values for civil society and the rule of law.

Seeing the status and professional development of teachers, principals and other pedagogical specialists has been the focus of the pedagogical academic community in university environments for four years now. Answers to the questions are still being sought in the various pedagogical faculties: How should teachers in the PNUP specialty prepare to be teachers, so that their professional competences are built with a high quality of professionalization? How should educators evaluate future teachers in this process of university education? How does the quality of teacher preparation relate to institutional interaction and the quality of education? An answer to these questions in the present exposition is sought in the proof of the thesis that teachers become professionals when the subjects in the process of interaction that they manage are a starting point in the direction of their professional activities.
