Reflections on Realization Paths of Curriculum Ideology and Politics in Senior High School English 高中英语思想政治课程实现路径的思考

Since the introduction of the concept of "Curriculum Ideology and Politics" in comprehensive education reform, senior high schools have actively embraced its implementation throughout the entire education process. However, due to the pressures of exam-oriented education, systematic integration into actual frontline teaching work has been challenging, with various factors hindering its development. These include difficulties in exploring ideological and political elements within textbooks, a lack of vitality in traditional teaching models, and outdated educational mechanisms. Considering that teachers play a crucial role as educational leaders, textbooks serve as the primary tools for teachers' educational activities, and the education mechanism provides the institutional framework for teaching, these three interconnected components collectively shape the education and teaching process. Therefore, this study aims to explore the most suitable teaching mode for integrating foreign language ideological and political instruction into the curriculum through three paths: upgrading the teaching model, updating textbook content, and innovating the educational mechanism. To achieve this, the study will employ textbook analysis as a methodology and provide suggestions to textbook compilers on effectively integrating "Curriculum Ideology and Politics" into senior high school English teaching. These efforts aim to enhance the vitality of the English subject.

On Foreignization’s Contribution to Spreading Chinese Language and Culture in Pearl S. Buck’s All Men Are Brothers 赛珍珠《天下兄弟》中异化对中国语言文化传播的贡献

 Nowadays, “Spreading China’s voice and telling Chinese stories” is a trend and the translation involving Chinese cultural publicity becomes a focus of domestic translation work. The use of foreignization strategy is conducive to the export of source language and culture. With the cultural turn of translation, especially in translation involving cultural factors, foreignization plays an increasingly important role in translation. As one of the four classics, Shui Hu Zhuan is publicly regarded as a masterpiece with great achievement both in the Chinese “good fellow” culture and typical Chinese language features. Amid translation versions of this book, Pearl S. Buck’s All Men Are Brothers is highly praised for spreading Chinese language and culture with foreignization strategy. Typical cases are chosen from Shui Hu Zhuan and its translation All Men Are Brothers to research foreignization strategy’s contribution to spreading Chinese language and culture abroad.

An Overview of Research on the Issue of Reference 参考问题研究综述

 This paper provides an overview of reference study, focusing on its definition, importance, methods, and current research trends both abroad and in China. Reference is a fundamental linguistic function that explains the relationship between words and the specific objects they name. The authors highlight the significance of reference in philosophy and linguistics and emphasize the need for further investigation, particularly considering the unique characteristics of Chinese characters. The paper discusses the importance of referential reviews in integrating research results, identifying trends and knowledge gaps, developing theories and concepts, providing practical guidance, and promoting interdisciplinary communication. The methods employed in referential study, including systematic search, data analysis, and interpretation, are described in detail. The current situation of reference study abroad is examined, with a focus on rising analysis on pragmatic reference, deeper research on mental reference, multi-dimensional research on reference mechanism, and relatively independent research on reference. The state of reference research in China is also explored, highlighting the introduction and interpretation of foreign reference theories, as well as the emergence of local referential thought. Finally, the paper suggests future directions for domestic referential study, such as incorporating new ideas from abroad, conducting corpus analysis, and modernizing and localizing referential theories in Chinese linguistic context.

Special Vocabulary Learning Difficulties for EFL Students with Chinese Backgrounds 中国背景下英语学生的特殊词汇学习困难

This paper discussed three important factors related to the special difficulties of EFL learners: coursebooks, language distance, and teachers. EFL students' vocabulary input sources lack real context and socio-cultural context of target language. At this point, efforts cannot be focused on creating a real context for them, which is unrealistic, but to find special methods based on the special difficulties of EFL. For EFL learners, coursebooks, as one of the numerous learning resources, have become the most important way for them to input language. This should be the starting point for finding EFL learners' difficulties and solving them. In addition, the large language distance between Chinese and English causes students to encounter certain difficulties in learning the target language. For the issue of contrasting the differences between NEST and non-NEST, which has been extensively studied, this paper proposed that the focus of researchers should be on providing effective vocabulary learning strategies for EFL students, rather than contrasting the two of them. According to the "Learning Burden of a Word " proposed by Nation, this paper lastly stated the strengths and weaknesses of EFL coursebooks. After analysis, the strengths of the textbook are that most textbooks provide pronunciation, all textbooks provide written form, but provide contextual meaning. The primary stage textbooks provide explanations of grammatical functions. The main weaknesses are the lack of explanation modules for word parts, related means, concepts and references, settlements and constraints on use.

Practical Exploration of Ethnic Intangible Cultural Heritage theme in the Thematic Art Creation of College Students 民族非物质文化遗产题材在大学生主题艺术创作中的实践探索

Theme-based art creation refers to the creation that revolves around a specific theme, with a certain plot, which can reflect the spirit of the times and align with the prevailing trends of the era. From the perspective of national intangible cultural heritage, exploring theme-based art creation in contemporary China is an important way to expand and enrich its connotation. It requires artists to organically integrate the characteristics of national intangible cultural heritage with the subject matter, ideas, and styles of theme-based creation. It aims to explore the intrinsic connection between national intangible cultural heritage and theme-based art creation.In recent years, various initiatives such as the "National Major Historical Theme Art Creation Project" and the "Chinese Civilization Historical Theme Art Creation Project" at the national level, as well as local series of theme-based art creation activities, have stimulated the enthusiasm and vitality of artists, giving rise to a large number of high-quality theme-based artworks. Therefore, the author explores and taps into the relevant resources of national intangible cultural heritage, applies them to art creation practices in universities, ignites the creative enthusiasm and innovative ability of college students, leverages the advantages of art resources in remote areas, and enables college students to create artworks that reflect regional ethnic culture using image resources in the information age. Ultimately, this will lead to the development of artistic creation methods and strategies with universal application value in the field of intangible cultural heritagent of this paper.

The Application of Heroic Narrative in English Teaching among Chinese Vocational Universities 英雄叙事在高职英语教学中的应用

Heroic narrative is a form of traditional literary with rich cultural connotations and artistic value. The heroic narrative is a storytelling device that portrays a protagonist, often referred to as the hero, embarking on a challenging journey or quest. The hero is typically portrayed as courageous, virtuous, and possessing extraordinary abilities or qualities.In the context of English teaching in Chinese vocational universities, heroic narratives can be used as reading and analysis materials.Creating heroic narratives can improve students' writing ability and creative thinking, learning the cultural elements in Chinese heroic narratives can enhance students' cultural self-confidence, strengthen students' belief in heroes and their love for the country and improve their ability to apply English. By conducting a questionnaire and analyzing the responses,the author designs a variety of out classroom teaching activities in the form of tutoring the English corner activities and holding a series of competitions, this paper aims at exploring the application of heroic narrative in the English teaching of vocational universities in China, in order to cultivate students' excellent qualities of Chinese heroes,such as patriotism,filial piety,courage and honor and integrity. And at the same time the research result can provide some useful enlightenment for English educators in vocational universities.

The Effect of Online Exhibition Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction, Preference and Revisit 网络展览服务质量对顾客满意度、偏好和回访的影响

As the novel coronavirus infection disease situation becomes common in the future, exhibition organizers are making their own breakthroughs and are focusing on digital transformation of exhibitions. Along with this global trend, online exhibition model, especially The China Import and Export Fair(Canton Fair)has become popular since the 127th exhibition. The online exhibition was held online from June 15 to 24, 2020.The purpose of this study is to study the relationship between customer satisfaction, preference, and re-visit based on the case of online exhibition at Guangzhou Fair. According to the research results, how to improve the quality of online exhibition service to meet the needs of customers in the future. In this study, SPSS 23.0 is used to verify the validity of the data, AMOS 24.0 is used to model the structural equations of the variables and to verify the relationship between the variables.
随着未来新型冠状病毒感染疫情的普遍,展会主办方也在自我突破,专注于展会的数字化转型。随着这一全球趋势,自第127届广交会以来,网上展览模式,特别是中国进出口商品交易会(广交会)开始流行起来。展会于2020年6月15日至24日在网上举行。本研究以广交会网上展览为研究对象,探讨顾客满意度、偏好与回访的关系。根据研究结果,未来如何提高在线展览服务的质量以满足客户的需求。在本研究中,使用SPSS 23.0验证数据的有效性,使用AMOS 24.0对变量的结构方程进行建模,验证变量之间的关系。

Innovative Principles for the Choreography of Competitive Martial Arts Routine Movements 竞技武术套路动作编排的创新原则

With the increasing attention given by the Chinese State General Administration of Sports to local traditional sports, competitive martial arts has garnered more and more attention worldwide. Various international and domestic competitions have emerged, and in order to attract global attention while promoting the internationalization of competitive martial arts, the choreography of routines has become a hot topic of great concern to martial arts coaches, athletes, and researchers. This paper discusses the innovative principles for the choreography of competitive martial arts routines by reviewing literature and interviewing experts such as wellknown martial arts coaches and referees, in order to broaden the thinking of innovative routines in competitive martial arts competitions, enhance the appeal of competitive martial arts, increase the excitement of competitions, and provide theoretical references for the adaptation and innovation of competitive martial arts routine movements.
随着国家体育总局对地方传统体育的重视,竞技武术在世界范围内受到越来越多的关注。各种国际国内比赛层出不穷,为了在促进竞技武术国际化的同时吸引全球的关注,套路编排已成为武术教练员、运动员和研究人员非常关注的热点问题。本文通过文献查阅和对知名武术教练员、裁判员等专家的访谈,探讨了竞技武术套路编排的创新原则,以期拓宽竞技武术比赛创新套路的思路,增强竞技武术的感染力,增加比赛的趣味性。为竞技武术套路动作的改编与创新提供理论参考。

Chinese University Students' English Reading Strategies: An Analysis of the Current Situation and A Proposal for Enhancement 中国大学生英语阅读策略的现状分析及改进建议

English reading strategies and awareness of reading strategies are of great significance for English learners to master and possess high English reading abilities, but in reality, learners' ability to apply English reading strategies is still unsatisfactory. Moreover, this issue seems to be a common and urgent issue for all learners of English as a second language. This study taking a Chinese university (Hunan University of Science and Engineering, HUSE) as an example, using the  Survey of Reading Strategies (SORS) to measure three broad categories of reading strategies, 527 respondents involved,  through comparing data mean values of English majors with non-English majors and the composite mean value of these respondents, found that: (a) English major students have higher reading strategy awareness than non-English major students; (b) English major and non-English major students are at different levels in terms of reading strategy awareness and generally have a moderate level of reading strategies; (c) There is great room for improvement in university students’ reading strategy. Centering on how to make good use of the teaching resources of reading courses and how to use innovative ways and methods to enhance the awareness and ability of college students' reading strategies, this study puts forward four measures, namely, attaching importance to reading strategy education in reading course teaching, attaching importance to the leading role of reading course teachers in improving students' reading strategy level in curriculum teaching, attaching importance to students' main role, and strengthening students' reading strategy training.
英语阅读策略和阅读策略意识对于英语学习者掌握和拥有较高的英语阅读能力具有重要意义,但在现实中,学习者对英语阅读策略的运用能力还不尽人意。此外,这个问题似乎是所有英语作为第二语言的学习者共同和紧迫的问题。本研究以中国某高校(湖南科技工程大学)为例,采用阅读策略调查(SORS)对527名被调查者的三大类阅读策略进行测量,通过比较英语专业学生与非英语专业学生的数据平均值及其综合平均值,发现:(a)英语专业学生的阅读策略意识高于非英语专业学生;(b)英语专业学生与非英语专业学生的阅读策略意识水平不同,总体上阅读策略水平适中;(c)大学生的阅读策略有很大的提升空间。本研究围绕如何利用好阅读课程的教学资源,如何利用创新的途径和方法来提高大学生阅读策略的意识和能力,提出了在阅读课程教学中重视阅读策略教育,在课程教学中重视阅读课程教师在提高学生阅读策略水平中的主导作用,重视学生主体地位,加强学生阅读策略训练。

Conceptional Reconstruction of High School English Teaching from the Perspective of Deep Learning 深度学习视角下高中英语教学的概念重构

As one of the important subjects in senior high school, English is not only a tool for communication, but also has rich cultural significance. High school English teaching should not only make students realize its instrumental significance, but also connect English with social life to guide students to establish correct values and achieve all-round development. The new college entrance examination reform puts more emphasis on competence education and the overall development of students. Meanwhile, the examination-oriented education in senior high school English teaching is still outstanding, and theory of "focus only on scores" is still prevalent. The theories of senior high school English teaching lag behind the development of the times and the call of the country. Deep learning emphasizes the acquisition of students’ English ability, attaches importance to the cultivation of students' values, and supports the comprehensive development of students, which is complementary to course education. It also has enlightening significance for the reform of English teaching in senior high schools. The paper focuses upon the conceptional reconstruction of senior high school English teaching through the perspective of deep learning theory, and discusses the positive impact of deep learning on the improvement of senior high school students’ English learning initiative, the accumulation of humanistic quality and the formation of values.
作为高中重要的学科之一,英语不仅是一种交流的工具,而且具有丰富的文化意义。高中英语教学不仅要使学生认识到英语的工具性意义,而且要把英语与社会生活联系起来,引导学生树立正确的价值观,实现全面发展。新高考改革更加强调素质教育和学生的全面发展。与此同时,应试教育在高中英语教学中的作用仍然突出,“只看分数”的理论仍然盛行。高中英语教学理论滞后于时代的发展和国家的号召。深度学习强调学生英语能力的习得,重视学生价值观的培养,支持学生的全面发展,与课程教育相辅相成。对高中英语教学改革也有一定的启示意义。本文以深度学习理论为视角,对高中英语教学进行概念重构,探讨深度学习对高中生英语学习主动性的提高、人文素质的积累和价值观形成的积极影响。
