Fine art is a crucial discipline within the field of aesthetics, and fine art education serves as a significant component of aesthetic education. It holds great importance in providing a comprehensive education and fostering the holistic development and well-being of primary and secondary school students. The deficiency in fine art education within primary and secondary schools located in ethnic minority areas necessitates that teachers acknowledge these gaps, analyze their underlying causes, and explore effective measures to promote its development. Revitalizing fine art education is both the mission and responsibility of schools and teachers, as well as a shared aspiration of all sectors of society. In order to achieve this, teachers must enhance their ideological awareness, innovate institutional mechanisms, foster integration and collaboration, and prioritize and strengthen fine art education. Furthermore, it is essential to identify gaps, address deficiencies, increase investment in education, and expand access to high-quality resources. Leveraging the cultural characteristics of ethnic minorities, schools should develop curriculum that is tailored to their specific needs. Additionally, efforts should be made to enrich the teaching force and elevate teaching standards, including forging partnerships with local universities to enhance the professionalism of fine art teachers and strengthen the collective capacity. This study focuses on the current state of fine art education in primary and secondary schools within the Enshi Grand Canyon Scenic Area Administration in Enshi City, Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province. By utilizing interviews and documentary analysis, the author examines and dissects a primary and secondary school located in a remote town. The aim is to reflect upon and analyze the existing conditions and challenges of fine art education in primary and secondary schools within ethnic minority areas, explore novel ideas in fine art education, and propose measures for improvement and advancement.

In recent years, the Chinese government has issued a series of documents, including the National Guideline for Teaching Physical Education Courses in Ordinary Higher Education Schools, the Basic Standards for Physical Education Work in Higher Education Schools, and the Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Strengthening School Physical Education for the Overall Development of Students' Physical and Mental Health. In response to these documents, colleges and universities in China have been actively promoting sports reform initiatives. This study uses literature review, Delphi method, and mathematical statistics to investigate the current situation of sports development on the campus of Hubei Enshi College, and to analyze the necessity and feasibility of sports clubbased teaching. Specifically, the study focuses on the development of sports clubs at Hubei Enshi College, and examines the challenges and opportunities for reform. The study finds that the development of sports clubs at Hubei Enshi College lacks an efficient and complete organizational and management framework, and that the current teaching situation faces the dilemma of "one size fits all". In addition, the study identifies the lack of integration of teaching resources between the first and second classes, and the lack of branding effect of campus sports culture. The study concludes by providing feasible suggestions for the optimal development of sports clubs at Hubei Enshi College, in line with the university's educational philosophy of "establishing moral education, teaching students according to theirabilities, and applying learning to practice".

Participation in rural revitalization is a crucial responsibility for social organizations. It not only demonstrates their commitment to serving the country, society, the public, and the industry but is also a vital avenue for achieving high-quality development. To assess the ability of social organizations to contribute to rural revitalization, we constructed an evaluation index system. We employed the TOPSIS evaluation and barrier degree model to evaluate the ability of Chinese social organizations, private non-enterprises, and foundations to participate in rural revitalization in our research area. Our results indicate that the overall ability of social organizations to participate in rural revitalization is at a medium-low level, and three major obstacles exist in the areas of organizational construction, basic guarantee, and project participation. Therefore, we should focus on improving the organizational construction capacity by strengthening the "internal strength of the organization" and cultivate the basic guarantee capacity by paying attention to "own finance." We should also enhance the participation capacity of rural revitalization projects by setting "participation targets" and relying on the "internal strength of the organization." We propose optimization paths from various perspectives, including practicing "internal strength of the organization" and actively improving the capacity of organization construction, paying attention to "own finance" and continuously cultivating the capacity of basic guarantee, focusing on "participation targets" and effectively strengthening the capacity of participation in rural revitalization projects, relying on "digital empowerment" and enhancing the professional service capacity of social organizations, integrating "rural demands" and improving the policy coordination capacity of social organizations.

Patients with critical illnesses and on intubation cannot express their needs through verbal language. Thus, nurses and other healthcare professionals might not meet their needs, resulting in frustration and more stress for nurses and patients. This situation may interfere with patients’ recovery. In this quasi-experiment study, we developed and tested the effectiveness of the Needs Communicative Digital Technology Program. Sixty participants who were critically ill and intubated were recruited from an intensive care unit of a secondary care hospital in a province close to Bangkok, Thailand. They were alternately assigned weekly to the experimental (n = 30) and control groups (n = 30). The experimental group received the program for 48 hours, including the usual care in the intensive care unit. The control group received only usual care in the intensive care unit. Questionnaires for data collection were a demographic data form, the Met Needs Questionnaire, and theEffectiveness of Communication Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, a chi-squared test, a Fisher exact test, a t-test, and ANCOVA. Findings revealed that after 48 hours of program implementation, the experimental group had significantly higher mean scores on met needs and effective communication than before starting the program and higher than that of the control group. Thus, it can be concluded that this program effectively met the needs of intubated people with critical illnesses with advanced technology and communication strategies that can be used easily, conveniently, and quickly. Nurses can use this program in practice and further evaluate its effectiveness before widespread use in the country.

Internet-based interventions have long been available in mental health care, offering alternative options for caring for patients and caregivers. This review aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of internet-based psychosocial interventions on psychological distress, caregiving burden, expressed emotion, knowledge about psychosis among family caregivers of people with schizophrenia, and hospitalization of the patients. A systematic search was conducted on June 20, 2022, in six databases (MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, Scopus, Cochrane Library, and ProQuest) from 2010 onwards in English and Thai. The review was conducted based on the JBI approach and reported following the PRISMA guidelines. The protocol was registered in PROSPERO as CRD42021255318. Five out of 20 studies were included in the review. Meta-analysis was impossible due to the methodological heterogeneity across the included studies; therefore, narrative synthesis was utilized. Psychological distress was not improved as reported in one study; however, the caregiving burden was improved in another study. Two studies reported expressed emotion; however, they were impossible to combine due to methodological differences, and the results contradicted each other. Knowledge about psychosis was also found to contradict results in two individual studies. Hospitalization was not impacted by the intervention based on one study. Four studies were randomized control trials, and another was a quasi-experimental research study. One out of four of the former did not mention blinding during randomization, which creates potential performance and detection bias. A robust randomized control trial should be carried out with a similar outcome measurement to decrease the heterogeneity and enhance the possibility for further meta-analysis and the ability to recommend for practice.

Suffering from lower urinary tract symptoms in male older adults with benign prostatic hyperplasia affects quality of life profoundly. Lower urinary tract symptoms may precipitate to fall and poor quality of sleep. Less is known of the impact of falls and sleep quality on quality of life. This cross-sectional study aimed to determine the impact of falls and sleep quality on quality of life in this population. The participant was 140 older males, diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia, presented with lower urinary tract symptoms, and no history of prostatic surgery. Structured interview with questionnaires—Demographic and Health Record Form, International Prostate Symptom Score, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, and European Quality of Life—Five Dimension—was conducted at outpatient urological surgery unit at a tertiary care hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. Descriptive statistics and multiple-logistic regression with bootstrapping analysis were used for data analysis. Results revealed that majority of the participants reported falls and poor sleep quality, while nearly half had poor quality of life. Moderate lower urinary tract symptoms severity including nocturia, frequency, and urgency were predominantly identified. The predictive model explained 36.7% and correctly classified 74.3% of the cases. Significantly, those who experienced falls last year, and poor sleep quality increased the risk of developing the poor quality of life by 2.43 to 20.68-fold and 4.90-fold, respectively. Findings suggest that nurses should focus on preventing falls and poor sleep quality to improve quality of life. Proactive identification or specific symptom assessment, particularly falls history, sleep quality, and urinary symptoms severity during the treatment, is of concern in older men with lower urinary tract symptoms.
