Chinese painting is a treasured art form of the Chinese nation, serving as an important cultural medium for disseminating its humanistic spirit. In current times, while Chinese painting continues to explore and inherit traditional painting techniques, it also engages in cross-border integration and innovation with other art forms. It is imperative to fully excavate the expressive mode, elements, and humanistic values of Chinese painting, selecting, analyzing, and refining the most distinctive cultural elements and applying them to the design of creative products. This paper conducts a study on the successes and challenges in the design and development of cultural and creative products based on Chinese painting through multiple case studies, with the goal of guiding it towards a path of combining protection, inheritance, and development, and to create a series of creative design works that convey the aesthetic essence of traditional Chinese painting. The paper discusses the importance of referential reviews in integrating research results, identifying trends and knowledge gaps, developing theories and concepts, providing practical guidance, and promoting interdisciplinary communication. This paper discussed three important factors related to the special difficulties of EFL learners: coursebooks, language distance, and teachers. EFL students' vocabulary input sources lack real context and socio-cultural context of target language. At this point, efforts cannot be focused on creating a real context for them, which is unrealistic, but to find special methods based on the special difficulties of EFL. For EFL learners, coursebooks, as one of the numerous learning resources, have become the most important way for them to input language. This should be the starting point for finding EFL learners' difficulties and solving them. In addition, the large language distance between Chinese and English causes students to encounter certain difficulties in learning the target language. For the issue of contrasting the differences between NEST and non-NEST, which has been extensively studied, this paper proposed that the focus of researchers should be on providing effective vocabulary learning strategies for EFL students, rather than contrasting the two of them. According to the "Learning Burden of a Word " proposed by Nation, this paper lastly stated the strengths and weaknesses of EFL coursebooks. After analysis, the strengths of the textbook are that most textbooks provide pronunciation, all textbooks provide written form, but provide contextual meaning. The primary stage textbooks provide explanations of grammatical functions. Since the introduction of the concept of "Curriculum Ideology and Politics" in comprehensive education reform, senior high schools have actively embraced its implementation throughout the entire education process. However, due to the pressures of exam-oriented education, systematic integration into actual frontline teaching work has been challenging, with various factors hindering its development. These include difficulties in exploring ideological and political elements within textbooks, a lack of vitality in traditional teaching models, and outdated educational mechanisms. Considering that teachers play a crucial role as educational leaders, textbooks serve as the primary tools for teachers' educational activities, and the education mechanism provides the institutional framework for teaching, these three interconnected components collectively shape the education and teaching process. English reading strategies and awareness of reading strategies are of great significance for English learners to master and possess high English reading abilities, but in reality, learners' ability to apply English reading strategies is still unsatisfactory. Moreover, this issue seems to be a common and urgent issue for all learners of English as a second language. This study taking a Chinese university (Hunan University of Science and Engineering, HUSE) as an example, using the Survey of Reading Strategies (SORS) to measure three broad categories of reading strategies, 527 respondents involved, through comparing data mean values of English majors with non-English majors and the composite mean value of these respondents, found that: (a) English major students have higher reading strategy awareness than non-English major students; (b) English major and non-English major students are at different levels in terms of reading strategy awareness and generally have a moderate level of reading strategies; (c) There is great room for improvement in university students’ reading strategy. Centering on how to make good use of the teaching resources of reading courses and how to use innovative ways and methods to enhance the awareness and ability of college students' reading strategies, this study puts forward four measures, namely, attaching importance to reading strategy education in reading course teaching, attaching importance to the leading role of reading course teachers in improving students' reading strategy level in curriculum teaching, attaching importance to students' main role, and strengthening students' reading strategy training.

As one of the important subjects in senior high school, English is not only a tool for communication, but also has rich cultural significance. High school English teaching should not only make students realize its instrumental significance, but also connect English with social life to guide students to establish correct values and achieve all-round development. The new college entrance examination reform puts more emphasis on competence education and the overall development of students. Meanwhile, the examination-oriented education in senior high school English teaching is still outstanding, and theory of "focus only on scores" is still prevalent. The theories of senior high school English teaching lag behind the development of the times and the call of the country. Deep learning emphasizes the acquisition of students’ English ability, attaches importance to the cultivation of students' values, and supports the comprehensive development of students, which is complementary to course education. It also has enlightening significance for the reform of English teaching in senior high schools. The paper focuses upon the conceptional reconstruction of senior high school English teaching through the perspective of deep learning theory, and discusses the positive impact of deep learning on the improvement of senior high school students’ English learning initiative, the accumulation of humanistic quality and the formation of values.
