This study aims to analyze: (1) the level of problem-solving ability in terms of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model of the Al-Hikmah Private Junior High School students in Medan., (2) the answer process of the Al-Hikmah Private Junior High School students in Medan based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning model, and (3) the difficulties experienced by the students of Al-Hikmah Private Junior High School Medan in solving problems of problem solving abilities based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning model assisted by Macromedia Flash. The research subjects were in class VIII-4 of Al-Hikmah Private Junior High School Medan, totaling 35 students. The instrument of this research is a test of mathematical problem solving ability, and an interview guide. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed: (1) The ability to solve mathematical problems found that there were 3 students (8.57%) who had a high level of mathematical problem solving ability; 11 students (31.43%) have a moderate level of mathematical problem solving ability; 21 students (60%) have a low level of mathematical problem-solving ability. While the problemsolving indicator in the form of understanding the problem is more dominant with a percentage of 48.5% achieved by students for this indicator, this proves that students are able to understand the problem of the problem, meaning that students able to make known and asked from the question. Then on the indicator of planning solutions, 45.7% of students were able to plan problem solving from the problem and for indicators of solving problems it was found that the percentage of 25.7% of students were able to solve the problem accompanied by a logical reason and for the indicator to check again it was obtained 0% in terms of concluding, this is because most students do not provide conclusions on solving problems, (2) the difficulties experienced by students in solving mathematical problem solving using the contextual teaching and learning model have difficulties in understanding concepts, difficulties in applying principles, and also difficulties in verbal problems.

L-histidine plays an important role in the growth of infants and young children as well as positively improves insulin resistance through suppressed inflammation. The study aimed to investigate the relationship between L-histidine levels and obesity and evaluate the feasibility of L-histidine as an important indicator of auxiliary diagnosis for pediatric obesity. Thus, the urinary content of L-histidine from 74 children with obesity and 84 normal weight were determined and analyzed in the study. Results found that the L-histidine concentration in urine (median [interquartile range] mg/L) was 8.29 (4.42-20.70) mg/L in the children with obesity and 5.60 (2.16-14.06) mg/L in the normal-weight children (P<0.01), 5.71 (2.57-17.15) mg/L in girls and 9.92 (5.54-23.33) mg/L in boys (P<0.05). L-histidine concentration in severe obesity children were significantly higher than that of mild obesity (P<0.05). The urinary L-histidine levels were positively correlate with BMI and the mean and median of L-histidine concentration in urine increase with children’s obese levels.

Implementing activities in early childhood learning exemplary motor Integrated early childhood education programs is not optimal. The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the methods of learning and fine motor skills as development needs in early childhood education programs, (2) to describe the device design instructional methods kinesthetic to train fine motor early childhood, (3) to describe the valid kinesthetic learning methods, practical and attractive in of early integrated childhood who meet the criteria for a valid, practical, and draw in integrated early childhood. This type of research is the development of research. Developing a learning device used in this study is an ADDIE development model. Learning software development results in this study a program of the semester, Weekly Education Program Plan (RPPM), Daily Lesson Plan Program (RPPH), Lesson Handbook, Child Activity Sheet (LKA), and Learners Observation Assessment Sheet. Learning research data was obtained through the validation sheet, observation sheet, and learning—data analysis techniques with descriptive analysis. The results showed that the development of learning tools was classified as invalid; the effect was seen from the results of children's learning. Results of the study showed that the device could train exemplary motor learning. Response to teacher learning tools is agreed upon. This research concludes that the kinesthetic learning methods train fine motor children.

Tourism in Indonesia is starting to change from what was originally mass tourism to thematic tourism which is more of a nature, culture, uniqueness, and local characteristic tourism. This is supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, in addition to preventing urbanization, tourist villages are also aimed at developing community businesses with local wisdom. However, in fact, the development of this tourism village program is often carried out without being accompanied by empowerment in the surrounding community regarding the readiness of the community to make their area a tourist village and make it a livelihood, resulting in suboptimal village management and not optimal use of facilities. This study aims to determine community acceptance of tourism villages and analyze how tourism is handled in the context of community readiness in managing local tourism villages, namely Alas Sumur Tourism Village, Bondowoso, East Java. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research by taking data in the form of direct interviews with the community. The findings in this study illustrate that public knowledge in Sapta Pesona Tourism is not implemented due to a lack of understanding, so that the development of tourist villages ultimately has an impact, namely that one community tends not to participate in optimizing the tourist village

English vocabulary mastery in elementary school is considered low, proven by students' shared understanding of English. Teaching English vocabulary to children is not an easy problem. If taught by force, it can cause children to become bored quickly. For the results of learning English better, the teacher must create a learning process that is more fun and more practical. Learning multimedia-based English vocabulary is an alternative that can be taken. Using computer media can help children (in this case, elementary school students) to improve their ability in mastering English vocabulary and attract elementary school students to learn more fun. This study aims to create a basic learning model of multimedia-based English vocabulary in elementary school students in improving essential English vocabulary mastery. This research was conducted on elementary school students in the city of Makassar. This study used Classroom Action Research techniques, a learning application in animated media pictures and writing. Using multimedia is expected to improve the mastery of English vocabulary in elementary schools quickly. From the research results obtained, with two cycles of learning using multimedia alone, about 90% of students have been able to read, interpret, and write vocabulary correctly, which if only using conventional techniques, there are still about 73% of students who cannot.

Poverty is a global problem. How to accurately formulate appropriate poverty alleviation policies to help the poor get rid of poverty is essential. This paper selects Huangpi District, one of the most representative poverty-stricken areas in Wuhan City, to research the effect of poverty alleviation policy. Through interviews, questionnaires, and visits, it finds that the poverty alleviation policy has had a positive impact on Huangpi. Poor people were more satisfied with their lives as their income increased and their living conditions were improved. However, there are still the potentials factors which will cause poverty again, including the lack of education and the influence of natural disasters and disease. This research further proposes measures to counter these risks. For instance, a diversified funding risk mechanism should be established with the help of national financial policies, social funding from enterprises, and donations from individuals. This research will help promote the development of precise poverty alleviation.

The development is intended to provide welfare to the community and to boost the nation’s economy. Financial wellbeing is the state which lies opposite to financial distress. The rural community people in Penyangga village, North Sumatera Indonesia, have not generated significant income from non-timber forests products and other sources. The present study aims at comparing the financial distress experienced by rural community people of Penyangga village and urban community people of Medan city with relatively similar amount of income. A total of 30 rural people and 30 urban people were involved as the respondents in this study. To observe the difference between financial behavior and financial distress, a discriminant analysis was performed. The test results demonstrated that at alpha five percent, there is no difference in the spending behavior and debt payoff between these two groups. However, there is a significant difference in the financial distress being experienced. Rural community people tend to feel more prosperous with their own financial condition and feel less financially depressed. Despite being financially short and rely solely on rice and vegetables in their neighborhood for food, they live at the constant state of happiness.
