ABSTRACT The article aims to ‘identify,’ ‘analyze’, and ‘categorize’ the factors of business agility in technology IoT projects using Total Interpretative Structural Modelling (TISM). A closed-ended questionnaire along with the scheduled interview was used to collect data. The TISM methodology and the MICMAC method are used to determine how the variables interact and to rank and categorise the business agility factors in technology IoT projects, respectively. The study shows that lean startup culture and ecosystem agility bring an overall agile culture into the established case organisations that are operating in IoT product segments. The study focuses primarily on technology IoT projects. The research will aid key stakeholders and academics in better understand the factors contributing to business agility in Technology IoT projects. This article is a novel attempt at the subject of business agility in IoT projects by using TISM and MICMAC approaches.

ABSTRACT The proliferation of massive open online courses (MOOCs) has sped up the evolution of online education. People now have a habit of checking internet reviews before deciding on and enrolling in an MOOC. However, issues about the veracity of online reviews have grown in significance. The S-O-R framework was used to determine the factors that have an impact on the reliability of reviews of MOOCs. The current study uses dual process theory (DPT) as a theoretical framework for identifying the stimuli. This finding reveals that review consistency and overall rating are more important in influencing the adoption of MOOC than the various informational factors. The findings also highlight that informal online communication (online reviews) is crucial to the adoption of e-learning.

Given the broad scope of Ethereum and the wide range of its decentralized applications, this paper investigates its hedging and safe haven capabilities against main fiat currencies, stock and bond indices in the US and Europe, and crude oil and gold markets. We use daily data from January 2016 until February 2021 and apply percentile regressions and crisis event interaction analysis by selecting four worldwide events including US presidential elections, the Brexit referendum, and COVID-19. We reveal that Ethereum does not act as a hedge or a safe haven against fiat currencies, stock and bond indices, and gold. However, it does act as a strong safe haven against crude oil in calm and turbulent periods and against European bonds during market turbulence. The study provides insights to regulators and investors into the potential role of Ethereum in investment decision-making and protecting financial market participants in the US and EU.

We are very pleased to present the collection of the papers of the 2022 Open Conference of the IFIP WG 8.3 Decision Support in this volume. The IFIP WG 8.3 conferences are organised bi-annually, and in 2022 we were able to organise the event again with a physical presence. The face-to-face talks were supplemented with online presentations, so we created a hybrid conference environment that could also be used for the future, which simultaneously ensured the possibility of personal discussions, debates, and social programmes, and online events for those who due to some reasons could not be present in person. This year, the conference was hosted by the Corvinus University of Budapest. At the University, research dealing with decision-making and decision support systems is carried out at various institutes and departments. The teaching and research activities of the Institute of Operations and Decision Sciences are diverse, they include trends and approaches discussing the preparation, support, understanding and shaping of decision-making, problem-solving processes – at individual, group, organisational, community and social level – encouraging participation, responsibility, and involvement. Our goal is to promote the development of decisionmaking practice primarily through the preparation of future decision-makers. This year’s conference entitled ‘Decision Support Systems: From Data Analytics to Intuition’ is set to highlight the trends in the increasing abundance of data, technological advancements, and the resulting requirement for a strong research focus on the decision-making continuum from human-centric decision-making approaches to analytics based decision-making approaches. Our focus is on how DSS expertise can support decision problems that arise across a diverse range of sectors including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, media, and many others. This supplemental issue includes the paper of Máté Farkas-Kis on Decision making in the shadow of mathematical education which received the Daniel J. Power Award for the best innovative DSS paper of the IFIP WG 8.3 Conference. We would like to express our warm thanks to the members of the Scientific Programme Committee.

ABSTRACT Given Malaysia's stance on cryptocurrencies as a digitalisation pioneer, as well as the surge in crime and fraud, regulators and organisations are concerned about retail investors' intentions to invest in cryptocurrency. The research model integrates diffusion of innovation theory factors (compatibility, relative advantage, trialability, ease of use, and observability) with consumer behaviour theory focused on retail investors' perceptions (perceived risk and perceived value). A total of 304 responses were collected through purposive and respondent-driven sampling. The data was examined using SmartPLS Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings show that compatibility, trialability, ease of use, observability, and perceived value have significant influences on the intention to invest in cryptocurrency. Meanwhile, the influence of relative advantage and perceived risk on the intention to invest in cryptocurrency is not supported. This research is vital for analysing the underlying motivations of Malaysian retail investors to invest in cryptocurrencies and further formulating the regulatory framework.
