In Yugoslavia, after the collapse of the kingdom, periodicals were no longer available. The daily informative propaganda newspaper “Novo Vreme”, which was published from May 16,1941 to October 5,1944, when all German and Serbian language newspapers were banned by the decree of the German authorities, embraced the establishment of the occupation administration in Serbia. From August 4, an additional issue called “Novo vreme Ponedeljak” was published.

In the article, using the historiographic method, the issues of the genesis of demographic science, as a separate area of scientific knowledge, are considered. Based on the analysis and synthesis of scientific works of scientists who contributed to the creation of demographic science, various aspects of the population movement are considered, a long way of the formation of demographic science and the development of its tools is shown.

The article underscores the critical importance of sustainable development, the goal of which is to ensure the continuation of human life and well-being with a mindful approach to natural resources. Focusing specifically on the Southern region of Azerbaijan, it is noted that the natural conditions of this area provide the opportunity for efficient development of certain sectors of social infrastructure. The Southern region is a significant producer of agricultural products, and also holds potential for the development of resort complexes and tourism.

During the presidency of Barack Obama (2009-2017), official Washington identified priority aspects of Middle East policy: preventing the development of nuclear energy by the Iranian leadership and achieving a final peaceful settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The response to the White House's readiness for diplomatic negotiations with the Iranian side without putting forward preliminary conditions was the unwillingness of the Iranian leaders to participate in the negotiation process on curtailing the development of the national nuclear program. As for the Palestinian-Israeli peace settlement, even here, despite a number of positive steps by the American administration, the parties failed to achieve tangible results at the negotiating table.

The article examines the history of the development of carpet weaving in the Gazakh region of Azerbaijan at the beginning of the 19th early 20th centuries. The widespread production of wool, which is the main raw material for carpet weaving, and the abundance of labor force in the form of Azerbaijani women played an important role in reaching a high level of development of the art of carpet weaving in the region.

In July 1918, one of the first military formations of the Whites, the Komuch People's Army, as well as Czechoslovak volunteers who joined them, occupied the Middle Volga city of Simbirsk with battles, practically marking the beginning of a full-scale civil war in Soviet Russia. Later, power in the city was transferred to the Committee of Members of the All-Russian Constituent Assembly (Komuch), which began to restore pre-revolutionary governing bodies in it. One of the politicalforces that appeared in the summer of 1918 in Simbirsk was the Union of the Revival of Russia. The article discusses the ideological and political platform of this organization, the positions of the leaders of the “Union”, the results of participation in the elections to the City Duma of Simbirsk.
