The acquisition of innovation performance through social network relationship resources is a common behavior pattern of organizational members. Recent social network research suggests that negative ties may also have a positive impact on organizational innovation compared with positive ties. Based on this, the paper investigates the impact of dissonant tie, which are a combination of problem-solving tie and difficult working tie, on organizational innovation. The empirical results show that dissonant tie promotes organizational innovation performance and are enhanced by digital sensing and digital seizing, while the increasing effect of the dissonant tie on organizational innovation performance is not verified under the moderating effect of digital reconfiguring. The findings are useful for understanding why certain negative ties may promote organizational innovation and performance, and to provide a theoretical basis for how manufacturing companies can use complex social network ties to survive organizational change and enhance organizational adaptability in digital transformation.

Supply chain management is a key component of the Electronic-China Yuan (e-CNY) infrastructure and is crucial to developing and using e-CNY. This paper first provides an overview of the features of e-CNY and the idea of incorporating supply chain management into the creation of e-CNY software to better meet user payment requirements. This will help to reinforce the CNY's dominant position in the global monetary system. Meanwhile, this paper uses the fuzzy theory evaluation method to assess the software supply chain management informatization level. More broadly, this paper discusses the development level of digital enterprise supply chain management informatization to understand the current situation of e-CNY software supply chain management. The network's energy usage will increase when e-CNY software is developed. This research suggests a routing protocol based on the combination of chaotic particle swarm optimization (CPSO) and ant colony algorithm (ACA). It employs a new CPSO algorithm to optimize the cluster head selection.

Researchers are studying whether digital transformation can increase corporate risk-taking. A study using data from Chinese companies between 2010 and 2019 shows that digital transformation does enhance risk-taking. This is achieved through two channels—reducing financial risk and enhancing enterprise value—and attracting media attention and improving information communication. Other factors like ownership, financing, industry competition, and policy uncertainty can also boost this effect. These findings offer significant contributions towards comprehending the influence of digital transformation on the real economy and offer practical insights to optimize the digital dividend and enhance the high-quality development of enterprises.

This article aims to optimize the supply chain financing model and address virtual economic risk control by effectively reducing associated risks. To achieve this objective, the backpropagation (BP) neural network model is designed and implemented, promoting the application of intelligent technology in supply chain financing and virtual economic risk control. Initially, a fundamental BP neural network model is developed and evaluated. Subsequently, an Adam-BP neural network model is proposed by optimizing the Adam optimizer, providing substantial technical support for enhancing the supply chain financing model and virtual economic risk control. The research results indicate significant performance improvement after applying Adam optimization to BP, with all indicators in the plant classification dataset surpassing 0.92 and those in the credit card fraud dataset increasing to above 0.9. Thus, the model presented here exhibits exceptional adaptability and offers effective technical support for optimizing the supply chain financing model and virtual economic risk control methods.

This study investigates organizations' intention to use the industrial metaverse. The unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) is used as an underpinning theory to examine the impact of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitation condition on the intention to use the industrial metaverse. The results of this study reveal that performance expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions significantly influence the intention to use the industrial metaverse. Moreover, the intention to use the industrial metaverse significantly influences organizational agility and firm performance. Further, the results of moderation hypotheses indicate that the impact of both performance expectancy and social influence on intention to use the industrial metaverse varies at high and low levels of firm innovativeness. The study's findings will enrich the metaverse literature. Further, it provides a deeper understanding of industrial metaverse adoption from a B2B perspective using the underpinnings of UTAUT. The study helps organizations understand the enablers of industrial metaverse usage intention.

As one of the important pillars of China's industrial sector, the mining industry is critical to China's modernization and energy security. Based on China's provincial panel data, this paper collects the information on government's environmental management and estimates the impact of environmental regulation on China's mining industry's energy and carbon performance. The study further collects information on the industries' technological innovation and analyzes the technological innovation's moderating effect on environmental regulation. The research results indicate that the interconnection between the intensity of environmental regulations and the energy and carbon performance of the mining industry is inverted U-shaped, and mining enterprises with high levels of technological innovation have better adaptability when facing pressure from external environmental regulations. Regarding policy recommendations, it is imperative that the government should enhance the environmental policy framework, develop clean energy, and incentivize mining firms to advance technological innovation.

This study aims to explore and examine an integrated model predicting digital agility in higher education institutions. In the exploratory phase, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the heads of the institutions to understand their challenges in ensuring digital agility at work in higher education institutions. In the second phase, the integrated model derived from codes taken from interview responses was developed. The first study round identified factors affecting digital agility from word cloud and thematic analysis using grounded theory. Based on the common codes, themes were developed, and an integrated model comprising digital transformational leadership, internal branding, and digital self-efficacy was developed. Then, established measures were taken to test the model, while a novel scale was developed to measure digital agility. Hierarchical regression analysis indicated that digital transformational leadership impacts digital agility with intervening roles of internal branding and digital self-efficacy.

Performance assessment is a pivotal facet within the operational framework of logistics enterprises, functioning as a mechanism to gauge business outcomes and growth potential. For this study, the authors developed a performance evaluation system for logistics enterprises under the paradigm of sustainable development to reveal the fissures and quandaries within the operational milieu by scrutinizing the current state of logistics enterprises. Drawing on pertinent references and empirical inquiries, they employed the entropy weight method to allocate weights to the performance evaluation metrics of logistics enterprises and TOPSIS–grey relational analysis method to comprehensively assess the performance of such enterprises. Empirical findings show that during the period of 2016–2018, a majority of the sampled logistics enterprises demonstrated an ascending trajectory in their comprehensive proximity, and a minority exhibited fluctuating and descending trends. These findings suggest the favorable trajectory of the evolution of logistics enterprises.

To address the issues of personal privacy and information security in the current digital age, this study first collects and analyzes relevant government data openness policies and personal information protection laws and regulations to understand the current policy and legal environment. Secondly, a complexity pruning decision tree model is constructed, which can identify and evaluate potential personal information protection risks in government data openness. Using the Singapore government open dataset, this decision tree model is applied for empirical analysis, and its accuracy and effectiveness are evaluated. The research results demonstrate that the complexity pruning decision tree model performs well in terms of accuracy, recall rate, F1 score, and the area under the ROC Curve (AUC). The model achieves an accuracy of 0.85 on the training and 0.8 on the test sets, indicating its high performance in personal information protection in government data openness.
