The determination of rock strength holds paramount importance in the field of engineering geology. In this study, we conduct a comprehensive geostatistical evaluation of the unconfined compressive strength (UCS) within a 100 km2 area situated in northeast Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The UCS values were indirectly estimated using an empirical equation based on the Schmidt hammer rebound method, resulting in a range of strengths from 9.2 to 198.4 MPa. The corresponding mean UCS values vary between 60.3 to 81.7 MPa, with standard deviations ranging from 18.6 to 45.3 MPa. The analysis revealed that, among the sites examined, a specific location exhibited the highest median UCS value of 72.2 MPa, while another site recorded the lowest value of 56.2 MPa. Based on the distribution of UCS values, the study area was classified into five distinct strength categories: very low, low, medium, high, and very high. Notably, the majority of variability in UCS values was confined within the middle 50% range, as evident from the interquartile range (IQR) below 30 MPa. Additionally, certain sites displayed a tighter cluster of UCS values, while an IQR of DEFJ≥60 indicated a more widespread distribution of strength values. Furthermore, two locations were identified as representing the minimum and maximum UCS values within a 95% confidence interval. The UCS in location A was estimated at 60.25±9.14 MPa, whereas in location B, it was 81.72±8.50 MPa. These findings offer valuable insights into the rock strength characteristics of the designated area, providing essential data for engineering and geotechnical applications.

Blockchain technology has emerged as an indispensable force driving economic development across various sectors in Vietnam. However, prior research in the realm of blockchain technology has predominantly focused on areas such as logistics, journalism, and banking, neglecting the pivotal domains of accounting and auditing. Recognizing this theoretical gap and the significant role played by accounting and auditing in economic systems, this paper endeavors to augment our understanding of blockchain technology through the lens of a novel "triple-entry accounting method." Additionally, it seeks to assess the level of acceptance of this potentially transformative innovation within the Vietnamese business landscape. Blockchain, renowned for its decentralized architecture and distributed data system, represents a fundamental departure from conventional accounting practices. It functions as an open accounting information system, wherein data is distributed among multiple computers with identical copies, devoid of central administration but validated by a network of participants. Drawing upon responses from a sample of 225 participants and employing statistical analysis with SPSS, this study investigates attitudes and intentions regarding the adoption of blockchain technology in the field of accounting in Vietnam. The results of this analysis reveal a positive correlation between four variables-perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, comparability, and complexity-and the attitude toward blockchain application, further positively influencing the intention to use it. However, the variable of Perceived Risk does not exhibit statistical significance. These findings underscore the necessity of establishing intelligent accounting procedures through blockchain adoption and underscore the importance of understanding factors influencing attitudes and intentions to enhance the widespread acceptance of this innovation in the Vietnamese business context.

In today's dynamic and competitive business landscape, innovation plays a pivotal role in driving organizational success. Central to this process is the concept of innovative work behavior (IWB), which holds significant importance in generating and implementing novel ideas, processes, and products. Extensive research has consistently underscored a positive association between innovation and IWB. Two key factors influencing IWB are perceived organizational support (POS) and resilience (RES). POS encompasses employees' perceptions of the organization's support and care, while RES reflects their capacity to adapt and recover in the face of challenges. This study delves into the interconnections among perceived organizational support, resilience, and IWB, with a specific focus on investigating the mediating role of resilience. To unravel these relationships, a comprehensive survey was conducted, involving 355 support staff members at Rajamangala University of Technology in Thailand. Utilizing the Process macro for SPSS, the gathered data was meticulously analyzed. The results shed light on positive correlations between perceived organizational support, resilience, and IWB. Furthermore, the study successfully highlights the significant mediating effect of resilience in the relationship between perceived organizational support and IWB. The contributions of this research are twofold: firstly, it emphasizes the pivotal role of resilience as a mediator among support staff within a university setting. Secondly, the findings underscore the importance of cultivating supportive and resilient work environments to foster and encourage IWB among employees. However, while this study provides valuable insights, it is essential to expand the scope of research in the future. Exploring various employee types and organizations would enhance the wider applicability of the conclusions drawn here. This cross-sectional quantitative study investigates the intricate relationships between the demographic characteristics of nurses and their perceptions of leader behavior and job satisfaction within the healthcare context of Hail, Saudi Arabia. The primary aim is to establish the pertinence of nursing leaders' behaviors in shaping the perceptions and job satisfaction levels of nursing professionals. A sample of 716 nurses was selected using a simple random sampling method, with participants completing questionnaires administered through online software. Two validated instruments were employed: the 19-item Leadership Behavior Description Questionnaire (LBDQ), exhibiting excellent reliability (Cronbach's alpha of 0.955), and the 20-item Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ), also demonstrating excellent reliability (Cronbach's alpha of 0.968). Results indicate a moderate level of job satisfaction with a significant association observed with respect to age. However, nurses' perceptions of nursing leaders' behaviors did not exhibit significant variations concerning age, education, or experience. Similarly, no substantial correlations were found between job satisfaction, experience, and education. These findings align with previous studies, emphasizing that job satisfaction is primarily contingent on a supportive work environment rather than organizational structure or nursing care delivery models. Consequently, the behavior of leaders towards their staff emerges as a crucial determinant of staff satisfaction, offering a substantial solution for staff retention and fostering a positive work culture. Such improvements can enhance staff competence, skills, and overall quality, ultimately ensuring the provision of safe patient care.

This study endeavors to formulate a comprehensive structural model of disaster resources management that incorporates sustainability impact within the context of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Given the UAE's vulnerability to diverse natural and man-made disasters, there arises a pressing need for effective disaster management strategies that embrace sustainability principles. To address this need, the research employs Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and involves 152 stakeholders as respondents. The investigation adopts a multi-faceted approach, combining a thorough literature review, insightful case study analysis, and interviews with key stakeholders engaged in disaster management across the UAE. The study successfully identifies crucial factors that contribute to the efficacy of disaster resources management and its sustainability impact, while also recognizing the barriers and challenges that hinder the implementation of such strategies. The resulting structural model serves as a comprehensive framework for the seamless integration of sustainability considerations into disaster resources management within the UAE. Envisioned through a systems thinking approach, the model thoughtfully addresses the interconnectivity of various factors and the potential trade-offs between immediate emergency response and long-term sustainability objectives. The findings of this research contribute significantly to the field of knowledge concerning disaster resources management and sustainability impact, particularly in the unique context of the UAE. Furthermore, the model developed in this study holds practical implications for policymakers and practitioners involved in disaster management in the UAE, offering them a valuable blueprint for formulating effective and sustainable disaster management strategies.

This research delves into the intricate domain of gender sensitivity, a cognitive process rooted in the awareness of gender equality and the ability to actively endorse and practice it. The study focuses on a cohort of university students on the brink of marriageable and childbearing age, aiming to scrutinize the potential influence of gender sensitivity on their attitudes towards marriage and childbirth. Employing a convenience sampling method, 196 students spanning from first to fourth-year were enlisted as participants. Data were collected through online surveys conducted between April 5 and April 12, 2022. Our findings illuminate that male participants harbor a more affirmative disposition towards both marriage and childbirth compared to their female counterparts. Moreover, a significant positive correlation surfaces between attitudes towards marriage and childbirth. Intriguingly, the study exposes a notable inverse relationship between gender sensitivity and attitudes towards marriage (β = -.49, t = -7.13, p < 0.001) as well as childbirth (β = -.44, t = -6.45, p < 0.001). In light of these revelations, the study underscores the paramount importance of integrating gender sensitivity into strategies aimed at enhancing university students' perspectives on marriage and childbirth. Moreover, it advocates for a policy-oriented approach to ameliorate gender inequality on a societal scale. The study's profound significance lies in its revelation that, in a society lacking in gender sensitivity, the prevalence of marriages and fertility rates may exhibit a negative correlation with gender sensitivity. This underscores the imperative need for sustained governmental efforts to augment gender sensitivity.

The proliferation of advanced technologies has ushered in diverse and accessible fundraising avenues for entrepreneurs, profoundly influencing the burgeoning startup landscape in India. Among these innovative fundraising mechanisms, crowdfunding has emerged as a prominent platform with the potential to alleviate funding challenges and catalyze the Indian startup revolution. This research endeavors to discern disparities between male and female entrepreneurs concerning their fundraising attitudes, crowdfinancing method preferences, and perceptions of crowdfinancing's viability as a funding mechanism. Our study encompasses a sample of Indian entrepreneurs with basic knowledge of various crowdfunding options, comprising a dataset of approximately 300 respondents. Of this sample, 224 are Indian entrepreneurs, with 116 being female entrepreneurs. Hypothesis testing, employing Chi-square and Discriminant Analysis, was conducted to assess gender-based distinctions. Our findings reveal that female entrepreneurs exhibit a stronger inclination toward specific funding methods compared to their male counterparts. Additionally, our study elucidates the aspects of crowdfinancing that women entrepreneurs view favorably, suggesting a greater affinity for crowdfinancing among female entrepreneurs. This research sheds light on gender-related nuances in fundraising attitudes and preferences, offering valuable insights into the dynamics of entrepreneurship and funding strategies in the Indian context.

This research investigates the intricate relationship between mental health and workplace behaviors, specifically focusing on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and counterproductive work behavior (CWB). OCB and CWB are recognized as significant components of organizational behavior, with employees displaying these behaviors when they experience either job satisfaction or perceived threats. However, the factors influencing the choice of these behaviors remain elusive. This study contends that emotional states, shaped by the complex interplay of individual mental health, organizational climate, and culture, play a pivotal role in determining an employee's propensity to engage in OCB or CWB. Anxiety, stress, and depression are natural emotional responses to workplace situations, and they can both trigger and be triggered by OCB and CWB. This article aims to comprehensively investigate the impact of these emotional states on OCB and CWB behaviors. Furthermore, it explores the application of the conservation of resources (COR) theory in understanding these dynamics. The article underscores the necessity for further research in this area to enhance our comprehension of the intricate relationships among mental health, emotions, and workplace behaviors. Crime constitutes a profound challenge to the societal fabric of a nation and often finds its roots in factors such as avarice, destitution, and economic adversity. This study endeavors to proactively address the issue of crime through the employment of a crime forecasting model, aimed at uncovering latent correlations and underlying patterns. Specifically, it employs the Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA) model to project the future incidence of criminal cases. The research objectives encompass forecasting crime case numbers through time series analysis, appraising the statistical significance of monthly crime occurrences, and assessing the crime dataset utilizing the MATLAB Econometric Modeler. Leveraging historical crime data spanning from January 2018 to December 2021, sourced from nineteen municipalities in Negros Occidental, Philippines, forms the basis for crime case forecasting. An autoregressive test is applied to ascertain the acceptable confidence interval and goodness of fit for crime occurrences. Furthermore, MATLAB Econometric Modeler employs the Ljung-Box test to differentiate between stationary and non-stationary time series and residual crime cases. Notably, the study reveals a significant cyclic pattern in crime cases occurring every 20 months, underscoring the imperative for targeted crime prevention interventions. This study underscores the necessity for consistent and robust law enforcement measures by local government units across the nineteen municipalities in Negros Occidental, focusing on the five identified categories of criminal cases. It is recommended that these measures be implemented diligently to mitigate crime occurrences in the subsequent twenty-first month. Moreover, the study holds potential for extension to regions grappling with elevated crime rates due to inadequate control strategies in place.

This study conducts a comprehensive analysis of the impact of macroeconomic factors on Vietnam's trade balance with the member countries of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) during the period from 2002 to 2021. Grounded in established trade theories and a comprehensive review of pertinent literature on inter-country trade balances, the investigation identifies the pivotal determinants influencing trade balances between Vietnam and RCEP nations. These determinants encompass key elements such as tariffs (TRF), foreign direct investment (FDI), gross domestic product (GDP), geographic distance (DIS), exchange rate (EXC), and the trade openness of individual economies (OPEN). The research outcomes substantiate parallels with previous studies, indicating that reducing tariffs, enhancing trade openness, augmenting GDP, and attracting higher foreign direct investment within RCEP member nations yield constructive effects on Vietnam's long-term trade balance. Conversely, in the short term, impediments like exchange rate fluctuations (EXC), geographic distance (DIS), and GDP disparities emerge as challenges to refining Vietnam's trade balance with RCEP countries. Accordingly, this article proffers pragmatic policy recommendations aimed at advancing Vietnam's trade equilibrium with RCEP countries. Proposed measures include facilitating business comprehension of tax regulations within RCEP, elevating the investment milieu to entice capital from developed RCEP economies, and executing trade promotion initiatives to facilitate market access for businesses across RCEP jurisdictions.
