The present study aims at highlighting the determinants and degree diversification of export in Pakistan. The index of export’s diversification by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development is used to calculate the degree of export diversification. Furthermore, using time series data from 1995 to 2022, present study examines the factors that influence export diversification. There are very few studies that address estimating and determinants in the context of Pakistan. To check the unit root problem Augmented Dickey Fuller test is used. The Auto Regressive Distributive Lag method is used in this study to observe long-term relationships in the underlying variables. The regression results indicate that official exchange rates, economic globalization, and foreign direct investment negatively affect export diversification in Pakistan. While, gross fixed capital formation, world GDP per capita, term of trade, and political stability positively affect diversification of exports in the case of Pakistan.

Fast food restaurants are a big hit in today’s world but there was a huge set back to these restaurants during COVID 19 pandemic. Restaurants face huge losses. They also changed dynamics of their operations offering different services. The dine-in mode changed to takeaways and delivery along with car dine-ins. This paper aims to determine relationship between factors including service quality, cultural and social dynamics, COVID 19 protocols, price and customer satisfaction. This study can be used as a basis for fast food restaurants and other related industries to enhance customer satisfaction worldwide.

Many companies have recognized the importance of cultural dimensions influencing overall organizational performance for their aggressive advantage. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship of national culture with entrepreneurial performance in Pakistani manufacturing companies. This was a cross-sectional study with a descriptive research design conducted among staff and managers from the Lahore Chamber of Commerce. A total of 307 respondents were conveniently selected to participate in this study and completed a series of questionnaires. A questionnaire was developed, distributed and collected as the main method of data collection. Descriptive statistics and SEM were used to analyze study data from SPSS and Smartpls4. The study results show that there is a significant correlation between national cultural dimensions and entrepreneurial performance. This study found that power distance, uncertainty avoidance, masculinity/femininity, individualism/collectivism were significantly and positively correlated with organizational performance. Research has shown that subculture has an impact on how commercial company sport is conducted in a company. Therefore, it affects the overall performance of the company as a whole. Even if managers and their employees have similar attitudes about how performance should be made, this leads to good results in the workplace. The study concluded that all 5 cultural dimensions were drastically and unequivocally correlated with the organization's overall performance.

Central banks confront enormous hurdles in preserving the efficiency of their monetary policies in the face of rapid technological improvements in the financial industry. The effects of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) adoption, fintech investment, and regulatory flexibility by central banks on the effectiveness of monetary policy is investigated in this paper. Data were gathered quantitatively through surveys of financial professionals, policymakers, and central bank officials. The findings demonstrated that DLT adoption, fintech investment, and regulatory flexibility have a considerable positive effect on the effectiveness of monetary policy. The study not only validates but also extends previous material and provides policymakers with practical consequences. Limitations and future research directions are also highlighted.

This study examines internal remittances’ effects on Pakistan’s labour market outcomes. The study utilises data from the Pakistan Social and Living Standard Measurement – Household Integrated Economic Survey (PSLM – HIES 2018-2019). The study uses Logit and Multinomial Logit models to estimate the effect of internal remittances on labour participation and employment choices. The study’s findings suggest that individuals from households receiving internal remittances are less likely to participate in the labour market than those from households that do not receive remittances. Moreover, internal remittances lower the likelihood to participate in the labour market. Amongst the labour participating, the individuals of remittance-receiving households are more inclined to participate in farming vis-à-vis non-receiving individuals. It is also observed that a rise in remittances results in a greater likelihood of farming activities. The study’s findings have important implications pertaining to understanding the entrepreneurial level and economic activities in remittance-receiving households.

This research study explores compliance with minimum wage legislation in the context of the Pakistan labor market. Despite the laws governing the enforcement of minimum wages, compliance varies among demographic and occupational groups. Based on data from the 2018-19 and 2020-21 Labor Force Surveys, our study shows that compliance is lowest among young and old workers, while noncompliance tends to be greater among female workers, those with lower education levels, contractual employees, and those working in the informal sector. These findings highlight the challenging nature of minimum wage enforcement in Pakistan, the need for targeted policy interventions.

The performance of the firms is effected bythe changes in the macroeconomic environment in any economy. Considering this perspective, the research study explores the role of economic growth, foreign assets, trade openness, natural resourcesand the rule of law while targetingtheperformance of 36 multi-sector Danish firms. After considering fully modified and dynamic ordinary least square methods from 2015 to 2022, this research provides evidence of the significantly accelerating role of economic growth, foreign assets, natural resources and the rule of law in promoting the performance of selected firms in Denmark. The results further reveal that trade liberalization is, in fact, significantly discouraging the firm performance. Based on these results, we propose that promoting natural resources and domestic production may help expand Denmark's firms' return on assets and equity. The administrative authorities may also need to look into the trade openness factor that is not increasing the performance of the firms in Denmark.

Nurses are going through the extensive physical and emotional burden, directing them to occupational stress. The shortfall of nurses is alarming after the pandemic of COVID -19. This study aimed to explore the ways to reduce occupational stress among nurses. It will help to alleviate their clinical performance. Frame-work of emotional intelligence is used as a mediating variable between occupational stress and clinical performance among nurses. This cross-sectional study was carried out in Multan, Pakistan in 2022. The population was nurses (currently employed) from four main hospitals (C.M.H, Nishter, Children Complex, and Cardiology Center). The sample size was 251 respondents and the survey method was used to gain data. Data were analyzed through SPSS. The results indicate that occupational stress is negatively correlated with emotional intelligence and clinical performance among nurses. Emotional intelligence is positively correlated with clinical performance. The significant impact of occupational stress on clinical performance is significant. Emotional intelligence had a fully mediating role between occupational stress and clinical performance among nurses. Married nurses reported to have higher occupational stress and lower emotional intelligence and clinical performance while nurses below 30 years reported high emotional intelligence and clinical performance but low occupational stress. Developing emotional intelligence and providing support and opportunities are crucial strategies to reduce occupational stress among nurses.
