Leader–Subordinate Gender Composition and Leader Empowering Behavior 领导-下属性别构成与领导赋权行为

Focusing on gender role theory and the queen bee phenomenon, this study explored the differentiated exchange relationships between leaders and subordinates with different gender composition, and their influence on leader empowering behavior. We collected data from 1,211 subordinates of 286 teams at a Fortune 500 company in China through the questionnaire method. The empirical analysis results showed that the leader-member exchange relationship of the woman leader-woman subordinate composition was lower than that of the man leader-man subordinate composition, which further reduced leader empowering behavior. This study further used man leader-woman subordinate and woman leader-man subordinate compositions as control groups to verify the effectiveness of the queen bee phenomenon. We concluded that the queen bee phenomenon alone does not significantly affect leader empowering behavior, but that the combination of gender stereotypes and queen bee phenomenon has a significant effect.

The Influence of Paradoxical Leader Behaviors on Employees' Core Self-Evaluation: A Conditional Process Analysis Model 矛盾型领导行为对员工核心自我评价的影响:一个条件过程分析模型

Using data obtained from a survey conducted with 737 employees of organizations in China, this study demonstrated that paradoxical leadership behavior can significantly and positively predict employees' core self-evaluation and perception of insider status. At the same time, insider status cognition significantly and positively predicted the core self-evaluation of employees, and played a mediating role in the impact of paradoxical leadership behavior on employees' core self-evaluation. Improving the perceived psychological safety level can enhance the relationship between paradoxical leadership behavior and the effect of perceived insider status on core self-evaluation. Managers can improve their paradoxical leadership skills, directly and effectively improve their employees' core self-evaluation, and also enhance employees' sense of belonging, by making employees think of themselves as insiders in the organization. Managers need to create a safe atmosphere for team members; an environment of mutual respect and trust can effectively catalyze the positive effects of paradoxical leadership behaviors on employees' core self-evaluation.

Lead by Example: The Impact of Environmentally Specific Servant Leadership on Newcomers' Nongreen Behaviors 以身作则:环境特定服务型领导对新人非绿色行为的影响

Employing social cognitive theory, we developed a moderated mediation model to examine how environmentally specific servant leadership influences newcomers' nongreen behaviors. Through a cross-sectional survey we collected valid data from 307 participants in Shandong Province in China. Empirical results of testing our proposed theoretical framework and hypotheses indicated that environmentally specific servant leadership was effective in reducing newcomers' nongreen behaviors, and that newcomers' perceived green psychological climate mediated this negative relationship. Individual newcomers' environmental beliefs strengthened both the direct influence of environmentally specific servant leadership on green psychological climate and the indirect impact of environmentally specific servant leadership on newcomers' nongreen behaviors via their perception of green psychological climate. This study expands knowledge of environmentally specific servant leadership by illustrating how to reduce and prevent newcomers' nongreen behaviors, and provides insight into how to stimulate newcomers' environmental behaviors.

Intention to Get the (COVID)-19 Vaccine and Religiosity: The Moderating Role of Knowledge About the (COVID)-19 Vaccine 接种(新冠肺炎)-19疫苗的意愿和宗教信仰:关于(新冠病毒)-19的知识的调节作用

Studying the influence of religiosity and knowledge of the COVID-19 vaccination is important for boosting countrywide vaccine acceptance in countries such as Pakistan. This study used partial least squares structural equation modeling to determine whether these factors predicted the intention to get the vaccine and whether knowledge about COVID-19 vaccines moderated the influence of religiosity on the intention to get vaccinated. Participants were 251 college students from Pakistan, recruited using convenience sampling, who completed a paper-based survey. Results of structural equation modeling showed that religiosity was negatively related to COVID-19 vaccine acceptance, knowledge about the vaccine was positively related to COVID-19 vaccine acceptance, and knowledge about the vaccine positively moderated the negative impact of religiosity on intention to get vaccinated. These findings suggest that challenging religious norms and increasing public awareness are crucial for COVID-19 vaccine adoption.

School Climate and Well-being of Secondary Vocational Students in China: A Moderated Mediation Model 学校氛围与中职学生幸福感:一个有调节的中介模型

To explore the impact mechanism of school climate on the well-being of secondary vocational students in China, we surveyed 1,427 secondary vocational students using the School Climate Scale, the PERMA-Profiler, the Chinese Positive Psychological Quality Scale for Primary and Secondary School Students, and the Parenting Styles Scale. The results showed that school climate, students' positive psychological quality, and well-being were all significantly and positively correlated with each other. Students' positive psychological quality partially mediated the relationship between school climate and their well-being. A positive parenting style moderated the relationship between positive psychological quality and well-being. The findings enhance understanding of the mechanisms underlying the relationship between school climate and well-being among secondary vocational students.

Influence of Leader–leader Exchange on Team Prosocial Voice: Empowering Leader Behavior as a Mediator 领导者-领导者交流对团队亲社会声音的影响:作为中介的领导者行为赋权

As the business environment becomes more competitive and uncertain, organizations are increasingly relying on their employees' knowledge and ideas. This study focused on leader–leader exchange (LLX) to explore how it affects team prosocial voice through the empowering behavior of team leaders. We also investigated the moderating role of team proactive behavior. Through empirical testing of matched data from 182 pairs of leaders and members of a large enterprise in China, we found that LLX positively affected team prosocial voice behavior, and that leader empowering behavior played an intermediary role between LLX and team prosocial voice behavior, such that high LLX increased empowering leader behavior and thus improved team prosocial voice. Finally, we found that the moderating effect of team proactive behavior on the relationship between empowerment leader behavior and team prosocial voice was not significant. Implications of our findings are discussed.

Heterogeneity of Personality and Cognitive Ability: Effects on Flight Team Performance 人格和认知能力的异质性对飞行团队绩效的影响

We investigated the impact of heterogeneity of personality of team members and cognitive ability on flight team performance. Participants were 112 undergraduate students from a science university in China, who were randomly allocated to 56 two-person teams and completed a 3D orbital control task model that simulated common flight operation tasks. During the task, participants' personality and basic cognitive ability were measured. Partial correlation analyses were conducted to examine the relationship between heterogeneity and team performance. Results showed that heterogeneity in introversion and extroversion was significantly and positively correlated with team performance, as was heterogeneity in liveliness and social boldness. Conversely, heterogeneity in the ability to adapt to circumstances, number and spot addition ability, and comprehensive basic cognitive ability was significantly and negatively correlated with team performance. These findings have implications for optimizing the selection and collocation of aircrew.

Conversely, heterogeneity in the ability to adapt to circumstances, number and spot addition ability, and comprehensive basic cognitive\u0000 ability was significantly and negatively correlated with team performance. Green Animation Advertising of Food: Influence on Green Trust and Green Customer Citizenship Behavior 食品绿色动画广告对绿色信任与绿色消费者公民行为的影响

We explored how the attributes of green animation advertising influence green trust and green customer citizenship behavior by conducting a survey with people who had previously seen Guangdong Weinuoguan Food's animation advertisement in China. There were 568 effective samples gathered for analysis. The results showed that green animation advertising influenced green trust through reliability, attractiveness, and informativity, and also exerted a positive effect on the relationship between green trust and green customer citizenship behavior. Moreover, green trust mediated the link between green animation advertising and green customer citizenship behavior. This enhances understanding of the role of green animation advertising in the formation of consumers' attitudes and behaviors. Sellers should focus on the elements of reliability, attractiveness, and informativity when applying green animation advertising.

Perspective Taking and Mindfulness as Mediators of the Relationship Between Maladaptive Narcissism and Empathy 透视与正念是适应不良自恋与移情关系的中介

We studied the relationships between maladaptive narcissism and three distinct forms of empathy: cognitive empathy, emotional contagion, and emotional disconnection. The sample consisted of 300 students aged between 20 and 27 years, from two universities in India. Structural equation modeling was used to establish anxious and avoidant attachment as precursors of maladaptive narcissism and to test the link of maladaptive narcissism with empathy via mindfulness and perspective taking. The results confirmed anxious and avoidant attachment as significant predictors of narcissism. Mindfulness acted as a mediator between maladaptive narcissism and the three types of empathy, and perspective taking mediated the link of maladaptive narcissism with both cognitive empathy and emotional contagion. Implications of the findings are discussed.
